Honestly though, I would have made some of the glyphs more useful though...I dont even really use them. I wish that the stone glyph turned the enemies to stone and they stayed that way forever. You could only shatter them either with the reaver or with the force projectile. Would have made the glyphs a lot more useful and worthy. The sound glyph was pretty useless, and even the water glyph is lame. The water should have killed your enemies....and I'd have made the sound glyph deadly if close to raziel while stunning foes that are further back. But these levels are amazing. Wonder what the priestess' dialogue was with Raziel, and how the fight was to go.
i remember playing a demo cd version of this, not sure what version it was but it certain bits of it looked better than the retail, souls looked like skulls in the demo, and there was no cooldown period on the underwater speed burst
When I saw the priestess I was like...is this Cleopatra? :D I think that Square-Enix doesn't have time to do Soul Reaver stuff. They are mainly focused on FF7 Remake and possibly new Tomb Raider game. They should leave this trademark to another developer who has a lot of time and skills and loves and respects LOK series. BUT if SE tries to do the remake, it would be in new Tomb Raider style (a lot of cutscenes, a lot of actions, less puzzles, a lot of climbing, Nosgoth would be filled with a lot of humans and vampires, very complex story with Raziel distracted from his main goal and Elder God facepalming himself).
these graphics look like a 20 year old greasy frying pan. We'll never have games with these graphics again. You don't even know if an enemy moved or if a wall did. Creepy. That's a lot of cut content

They didn't have enough time and the release was pushed back twice by that point. They had to release it.
I really hope one day this game is remastered with all these cut levels added in as originally intended. This Undercity, Turels lair, kains mountain retreat. This game needs some love.
Sounds maybe like the Lighthouse demo?
@@RainaAudron Yea i think it was, the enemies looked a lot different than anything i seen in retail too
How many unused worlds and models and epic lines has been remove?
I think we can agree that too many...
OLIFIC
the first person to dislike this is a wasteman
When I saw the priestess I was like...is this Cleopatra? :D
I think that Square-Enix doesn't have time to do Soul Reaver stuff. They are mainly focused on FF7 Remake and possibly new Tomb Raider game. They should leave this trademark to another developer who has a lot of time and skills and loves and respects LOK series. BUT if SE tries to do the remake, it would be in new Tomb Raider style (a lot of cutscenes, a lot of actions, less puzzles, a lot of climbing, Nosgoth would be filled with a lot of humans and vampires, very complex story with Raziel distracted from his main goal and Elder God facepalming himself).
sidequest: get some blue jeans for Raziel.
Well they had dead sun and looks like they just aren't interested in this kind of stuff. Better to barf out football on cars or some other crap >:(
Man, this all should have been left in the game. Such a shame they felt the need to remove it.
Weren't they forced to remove it due to budget constraints?
It was because of time and money some greedy CEO defiling art for money
10:30 No, more like a climbable missing wall
these graphics look like a 20 year old greasy frying pan. We'll never have games with these graphics again. You don't even know if an enemy moved or if a wall did. Creepy. That's a lot of cut content
Shame. Would have loved to explore more territory.
Wonder if Kurt Harland composed something for the Undercity. Would have been interesting to get the atmosphere of the place.
