I don’t want all this technical explanation and the guy telling me to go buy one and do it myself. Why don’t you just tell me hey you need a new opener. Your current opener isn’t working anymore and the new opener will cost you xyz Also see where it’s smoking so yes you need a new one and I as customer would say ok let’s do it. I don’t want all this name brands and technical explanations like the copper is touching the switch and this wire here and there you’ll have to manually close it every time. That’s not what I want to hear from a guy who is charging me $489

he is talking about the old ones like the screw drive that’s what he meant yes genie makes openers still but not those noisy screw drives anymore

@@0uiqne except genie still makes screw drive openers too. Tbh I never recommend LiftMaster/Chamberlain to anyone unless they want me back out there in a couple months to fix something that went wrong with it 😂
