Right there with you.. I think I watched for about 2.5 minutes, then saw your post and went to the end as well.. Man, I guess he really wanted to publish a video.. Maybe next time he could go to a store that sells garden stuff and just ask "Where are your garden how's at?"
Make sure he uses garden how's and not just how's.. The latter would probably get him kicked out of the store..

I would have squared off the end of the shovel and sharpened the new edge and left it a shovel.

You could have cleared that ground vegetation with a refurbished shovel just as well.
I learned from my Grandpa never throw anything away, fix it or make it into something else.

Las plantas y el zacate se debe cortar desde raíz para que no vuelva a nacer, tienes doble trabajo, piénsalo un poquito 😂

I would have just cut straight across the edge and put a sharp edge on it. Then I would have ground off all the old rust and put WD40 on it and rubbed it in. So, I would have a useable shovel again. This video shows another unique way to repurpose something that needed improvement. I like this design as well. 😊Thanks for sharing…

Should put the wood handle fully into socket, this minimizes flexure at the throat, which causes early failure.

The shovel is much more useful than that thing you made because the shovel has multiple uses and that thing only serves to cut and scrape the grass, damaging the buried roots to sprout again. You must think before acting and if you don't know, ask... 🇨🇱🇨🇱
