    I want to apply same crop to multiple photos. Copy + paste doesn't work on crops. What is the next best solution in Luminar4?

    Can Luminar 4 do the same auto adjustment of color and white balance to an entire gallery of photos like Lightroom can?

      @ScottDavenport  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Patrick, yes, you can set white balance (or any setting) on one photo, and then apply the changes to another set of photos.

    In luminar NEO can you copy ia settings as IA face retouches or sensor smear erase? And if not, is there a way to doy it? cause its driving me crazy.
    1 more thing, is there a way to run smoothly the app, i have a beast computer and it carshes all the time...

      I'm not aware of a way to copy/paste AI-based selections.

    So I exported TIFFs from Lightroom, imported them into Luminar 4 and performed this change. The TIFFs on disk seem untouched by Luminar. SO how do I get these changes out of Luminar, back into the TIFFs and then back into Lightroom?

    • @ScottDavenport
      @ScottDavenport  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Peter ... just like Lightroom, changes made directly in Luminar are non-destructive and only known to Luminar. You'd need to export a new file for your edits made in Luminar to be visible outside of Luminar. Alternatively, you could use a plug-in workflow, launching Luminar as a plugin from Lightroom. To maintain re-editiability, you could bounce through Photoshop with a smart object. scottdavenportphoto.com/blog/using-photoshop-smart-objects-for-round-trip-edits-in-lightroom

    Is there any way of picking which adjustments are copied and/or pasted? Because of course it's quite annoying that it copies the tilt/skew of one photo to another. Also, I wonder; Is there a "lights off" mode somewhere hidden? Really miss that :D.

    • @ScottDavenport
      @ScottDavenport  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Copy/paste is a one-shot, all-or-nothing. There's no Lights Out mode ... you can press Tab to show/hide the panels, not quite the same, but it is available.

      @@ScottDavenport I need lights out to get an idea of what a crop is going to look like. That copy/paste all is a pity. Hope they implement it a bit better some day. Now using both Lightroom and Luminar. Works for me!

    Thanks for nice video! I'm confused about the difference between sync and copy-paste. What is different?

    • @ScottDavenport
      @ScottDavenport  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      They both do the same thing. With Sync, just pay attention to the photo that is "most selected" in the series. The "most selected" photo is the one where settings are copied from.

    how about rotating multiple pictures.somehow it does not work with copy and paste. i have one picture i flipped verticaly using the crop tool, but cant paste this settings on more files. Any idea?

    • @ScottDavenport
      @ScottDavenport  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure about copy/paste for the crop & the flip ... you can select multiple photos in the Library module and use Image > Rotate or Image > Flip menus to transform multiple photos at once.

    Is there a option to copy only selected adjustments like Lightroom?

    • @ScottDavenport
      @ScottDavenport  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, Luminar doesn't offer a more granular adjustment copy/paste today.

    • @racingrahul
      @racingrahul 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Okay, thanks for letting me know, do you know if there are any plans? I am Lightroom 6 user and recently switched to Mac and it doesn't work on Mac OS Catalina so looking for alternative rather getting into Adobe subscription model

    • @ScottDavenport
      @ScottDavenport  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unknown. There is nothing on Skylum's public roadmap beyond the recently released 4.3. skylum.com/luminar/roadmap (and the 3.x items have been out there for a long time, not expecting motion on those at this stage)
