Thank you for all the videos on Luminar Neo. Each one has been very informative and helpful.
Your video has been issued my rarest rating:
Helpful.
Maybe you could make up a cheat sheet for printing, listing the sizes for each application so us uninformed (lol) people can look at it while exporting, until we get this mastered! Thank you...Keep up the great videos.
Here's how to calculate the width/height for prints...
Let's say you want an 8x10 print. Multiply "8" with your resolution. With a resolution of 300 that would be 2400 pixels x 3000 for an 8x10.
4x6 @ 300 = 1200x1800
4x6 @ 240 = 960x1440
Hope that helps.
To export multiple files at once:
Go to the last photo in your album, press and hold the shift key, and use your mouse to select all the images. You will notice a white outline around all the selected images. Once you have selected the photos you need, go to the top right corner of the Luminar App and select export!
Thanks for the video!
Annoying part is, that Windows 11 keeps removing my access to desktop and wants me to force putting everyting in "User".
For 30 years, I could set up my drive structure how I wanted it and it worked great!
Now I have endless encroachment by Microshaft. Even when I reclaim ownwership of all drives, a week or so or at the latest with the next windows update its all fucked up again!
What about if the client wants to print and use for social media, what would be the form?
When I edit photo just to have on my computer can I go back and export again when I want to have a print done after I have exported already. I appreciate your help and love your channel.
Yes as long as you keep the original in luminar. It should stay there after export unless you intentionally remove it
Your Neo tutorials are very well done. Thank you. Question: On the Export screen - my screen does not have a "tags" line like your screen displays, and the Neo manual displays. The line after the Save As box. I am curious to know if you enter info in the Tags box, say the ID of birds or butterflies will that tag show up in the exif data? If so perhaps this is a good option so the tag / caption stays with the images that are displayed on photo sites such as SmugMug or Google Photos. Thanks - wondering if you have the tags box because you are working on a Mac. I'm a windows user?
Keep up the good work. and Thanks again.
It's most likely a "mac" option. Not sure since I don't have Windows to verify. "Tags" doesn't add keywords to exif either.
How about "File ... Save"? This is NOT intuitive or standard. Why should I watch a video to save a darn file? The "Disk" option is grayed out. Now what?
I am having issues while exporting my edited photos in JPEG, like 2,5h for 15 photos, I dont think this is normal, somebody knows hoy to fix this?
Export using gpu ..seems luminar neo only use CPU any other setting can push using gpu card..
None that I know of.
So, to this day Neo still can't batch rename? I don't get it. So simple....
No presets either. Easier than adding ai and more useful
