I switched from Lr and Corel... to Luminar Neo. Batch editing is very important in wedding photography when we get hundreds of photos... Thank you for your clear explanation; very well done! 👌
Thanks for teh helpful video. I have a problem with batch editing the "human"-mask. When I sync any adjustment that includes a mask to another image the AI-mask "human" doesn't adopt to the pose of the human in the image. How do I get this done? Lightroom Classic has no problem adapting the mask to new poses.
Hi, you are right Marten. Unfortunately the AI mask does not calculate automatically for each individual photo and it has to be adjusted. I will mention it to the developers, but you can also add it as your suggestion here 👉 skylum.com/support/contact
Another great video! Does 'synchronize' just copy the edits as a 1 time change? In other words, if I go back and change any edits in the original photo, the edits don't automatically transfer to the other photos as a true synchronization, correct?
You are exactly right, Don. The edits do not automatically transfer. For that you would have to synchronise them again. This way you can individually adjust each of the photos if you need.
I would like to remove an ugly dust spot on 1000+ photos taken to compile a sunrise Time Lapse video. As far as I know that kind of edit is not possible within a video editor like my Premiere Elements. So I thought of batch processing of the whole bunch of photos in Neo. So far I have practicaly no experience with batching, neither I can find a tutorial of other help on WEB. I guess I would exaggerate if I expected to be served by a complete and detailed prosessing workflow but could you please help me with your thoughts, ideas, hints, best practice and first of all with an answer to this question: is batch prosessing that involves actions like spot removing feasible within Neo?
Me as a bird photographer uses masking a lot on birds can you maybe explain on make a short video on how to batch edit with masking and then just rearrange the masking but if this in not possible just comment so thanks
Hi, thank you for your comment. Great idea 💡 Do you mean taking multiple long exposure photos and then stacking them with focus stacking? If you want to share more about the topic you would like me to cover, you can always write me on jakub@borsphoto.com
This doesn't seem to work while I'm carrying out SUPERSHARP AI adjustments. I'm assuming it's not a bug, and it's got sometthing to do with the high levels adjustments the AI tools use? I know these features came out after this video was made, but has anyone else had this issue? Is there a workaround? Currently sharpening 20 pix, which isn't too bad manually, but if it was 100 or 200, ouch.
Is there a way to HDR bath process? I have easily 50 photos. Each 3 bracket exposure. At the moment I would have to drag and drop 50 times. That's the main reason I do not use luminar for HDR. It just takes far to long.
Hi Ralf… I know what you mean, but unfortunately at this moment you can’t batch process HDR images in Luminar NEO. Out of curiosity, what software you use for that? I didn’t think Lightroom or Photoshop can do that either.
@@CleverPhotographer I have been using Photomatix for many years now. You just tell it the folder and how many brackets each photo has and it will process the entire folder. I have 2 presets and Photomatix creates an image for each of the preset. That way I can choose which result worked better.
Hi, I am afraid that at this moment that's the only way to do that. There will maybe going to be some updates on this soon, but we have to wait and see.

How do you batch edit HDR merge ? I have to drag them one by one all the time. Aurora HDR never had this problem. Thanks.
The batch HDR merge feature will be introduce with the update on 25th April.

And how do you save the batch sequence?
You can export them into your hard drive or simply leave them in the library.

Thank you very much... I'll see what I can do.
Great tutorial.
Can you please do a tutorial video on long exposure to be focus stacking.
Thanks.

@@CleverPhotographer Hi, LR will batch HDR. looking forward to Neo HDR batch!
It's tiring to always have to switch from the catalog to the edit tab. If it's just a few photos, that's no problem. If you have reached 1K photos?
