      I would recommend visiting the AFA website and using the find a contractor tool then check their work and references. Cheapest isn’t always best.

    Why did you guys cut the galvanized post off so short? Wouldn't 5 feet be better?

    Hey I've been fencing for a few months now and I was wondering what hand tools I should keep on me that would make my life easier. My company deals mostly with chain link. Thanks for any info.

      We love Klein 9’s and a cordless impact for almost everything. We have some tools on our site that also speed things up as welll. Here’s a link

    We put slip mount bracket above bottom rail. And we put screws in it through the u channel. On a line post you get 4 screws in the slip mount bracket, two each side.

      We looked at doing it that way but worried guys would miss the donut.

      The next AFA Installation School is in Arlington, TX. It's a 1-week thorough course that covers everything including all 5 fence disciplines. www.americanfenceassociation.com/schools/fence_installation_school/

    Just saw you on haxman and I'm wondering y you haven't designed a lightweight adjustable 'adapter ' that sits on the top of the post, comes down parallel to the post around shoulder height and u put the Rhino on that. It would still transfer equal downwards pounding force but u don't have to 'walk' the post with the rhino on top into a vertical position possibly hundreds of times a day on bigger jobs. Not to mention you were on your toes trying to reach the throttle. Not fun on a 12 hour work day. The throttle could be chest height. 29 yrs of Carpentry and concrete have taught me to work smart not harder lol . Cheers from Canada!😁🔨

    i just screw the rail in from the top, not honestly sure how the plate would be better.

      @@SWiFence I screw from the top of the post into the rail to lock it in tight and I have a guy pull them together.

      Screws in top and bottom rails work just fine. you can always just cut some squares out of you scrap vinyl and drop them on top of the rail and Screw them in.

    Maybe this is just an add for rail locks…?? Seems like you have a lot of information but it’s a lot different when your trying to teach. Also I don’t know what you have against string line it beats eyeballing every time. You just need the knowledge on how to use It.

    • @SWiFence
      @SWiFence  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      String line is a perfectly valid method. We find it's faster to eyesight however. Especially when setting posts through brush/bushes/weeds, setting over changing elevations, etc.

    What a waste of time, money and effort to use chainlink posts.

      Not for me. I live on solid rock. I'd lots rather drill a hole for 2 3/8 schedule 40 than drill a hole in solid lava rock for a 5 in square vinyl post.
