I've watched about 20 videos on how to install vinyl fencing, Your video had the best production and made the most sense. I appreciate you, Freddy took it over the top. Keep it up. Great job.
I am doing some homework on how to install vinyl fencing. This is the third video I have watched and I am very impressed by the way everything is explained, the methods used as well as the tips given. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge and expertise.
I live in Florida I just watched your video to install my new vinyl fence video was fantastic great advice great instructions thanks for the video y'all the greatest
I always put down a 4 ×6 sheet of plywood or OSB on the grass so it is a Nice easy clean up ! I always haul the excess dirt / crap away unless the home owner wants me to leave some or all of it ! Also i have found it best to suggest to the home owner that cement is to the top and a 4 inch area all around the post being cement because after a few years of the whipper snipping the grass at the posts they will probably have serious damage to them ! Also get a better post digger...the one you have is really old school !! Mine is a reverse handle system...if i want i can dig a 8 inch diameter hole 5 ft straight down !!!😊
Thanks for the video. We are in the desert area of SoCal and the dirt/rocky ground is super hat. I used a power auger and there was a tough time getting to 3’ deep. I liked the 1/3 dirt in the hole before adding the concrete.I installed 40’ of fence before watching this, the next 70’ will be more professionally done.
That turned out absolutely gorgeous and you made it look so easy. Both of you did a wonderful job and made an absolutely fantastic video. Appreciate it because I’m trying to install a fence myself and I’ve never done this before. This was extremely informative.❤❤
Outstanding! The most helpful and easy video I found, in this thanksgiving break I will install 190ft fence, and 2 gates. Is any video about installing gates?
Very helpful, trying to keep peace with the Neighbours, Any thoughts on installing the vinyl in front of an existing chain linked fence on our property ….?
GREAT VIDEO.... step by step. Very basic instructions. Love that it was funny at times 😊. Thanks for sharing the mistakes also since viewer will have those same glitches. " YOU WILL WANT TO INSERT PANELS FOR MORE PRIVACY '🤣😁🤣😂😋🤣😀😂🤣😅😆😅😄😉
Great video my friend. That's how a Mexican does it straight to details of the job with very good knowledge of the work. All these other guys on TH-cam just talk and waste our time. But thank you my friend I will utilize this information tomorrow when I put my first vinyl fence.
@@anthonygallo3576 Good question. You can either purchase them assembled or disassembled. It is up to your preference. Check out our more recent video to see how use use the complete sections: th-cam.com/video/CmtPzmI1YKU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=rJSJrrtGrITwDJOG

Nice video. I want to attempt to install vinyl fence on my side of my home and crest a gate from the 8 ft section. What about those steel inserts for the post or a 4x4 to make the install stronger for wind?
@@hhova29 Thank you and good luck! So long as you can go 3 feet deep and put adequate cement around the post, you do not need any additional structure inside the posts. It will make otherwise simple repairs in the future (i.e. kids hit a baseball into the fence and chip 1 picket) a lot more difficult.
Hi great video very well done had a quick question when you put the 1st post in the hole I notice one side of it is against the string line which is also against the side of the hole which means that no cement would probably get there. I was wondering if the string should be moved over 3 or 4 inches of concrete can get to that side of the post. Thanks
Explained so well that I can understand. Vinyl that I am looking at at Lowes states you need to add metal insert. Do I really need to do this, the metal piece is expensive as heck. Great vid!
Only on the post where you’re installing your gate to make it stronger and hold the weight of the swinging door. (2) of you’re installing a double gate. Everything else doesn’t need it
It is 8’ long from center of post to center of post. The rails come 8’ exact and they insert into the posts 3” on each side. Then you have 90” of boards to fill the space between posts. Hope that helps!
We do not paint the white PVC as there are a tremendous amount of color options you can choose from. You can view a few via the link below: th-cam.com/users/shortsapXn3eY5IlQ?si=B58V2FQ9Z2jyMa5N
I have a question. My neighbor installed one of these fences along my backyard. I am looking at adding 2 sections to the line but fence is not directly in line with my previous fence panel. How can I join a new panel to an existing panel that is on a corner?
Thank you, Freddy has been with us for almost 30 years! The best brand for PVC in our opinion is Eastern Wholesale’s Illusions Vinyl. That is what we predominantly use.

We used to have a vinyl fence but it was awful. The glue eventually decays after years of being exposed to heat in the summer and winter freezing cold. The vinyl can mold and the hangers slowly chipped apart. The gate fell apart. It's better to use 4x4 posts with pine pickets. With pine pickets you can design the entire fence how you want it. Vinyl comes is 8ft expensive panels but with pine you will have to stain.

Do you recommend using an auger for digging these holes? was wondering why you chose to use post hole diggers instead of an auger

Nice work but would the customer find the gap beneath the demonstration panel and the ground acceptable?
Yes, we always leave a small gap under the fence. This keeps it cleaner and prevents it from getting buried.
Thank you so much.Your video was so helpful.

Great job with very helpful tips and advice ✔️
Very nice and detailed video. What is the average per sq ft cost of this type of fence for a similar lot?
Right now, it is priced at $135 per 8-foot section, and $37 per post and cap.
Great works 👍
Very well explained. Thanks
Happy to help. Good luck out there!

Only on the post where you’re installing your gate to make it stronger and hold the weight of the swinging door. (2) of you’re installing a double gate. Everything else doesn’t need it
You should install the metal insert in the bottom rail, it will prevent the sections from sagging over time
Can you install this kind of fence if the yard is uneven or has a slope.
Absolutely, you can either step each section or install on a slope. It depends on the grade.
Hi, if i want to install 100 feet of this PVC fence. how much would it cost. material and installation please.
Approximately $3,900. Is there a takedown?
If it’s called 8’x6’ panel, is that mean 8’ long between posts or center of the post?
It is 8’ long from center of post to center of post.
The rails come 8’ exact and they insert into the posts 3” on each side. Then you have 90” of boards to fill the space between posts. Hope that helps!
thanks for sharing your knowledge

Video is helpful but shouldn't the side channels be screwed into the pole?
Side channels are for Richmond vinyl not for the Belmont
No need, the side channels fit snug on the boards. It would be more difficult to insert the last board if the side channel was screwed. Good luck!
I have a question. My neighbor installed one of these fences along my backyard. I am looking at adding 2 sections to the line but fence is not directly in line with my previous fence panel. How can I join a new panel to an existing panel that is on a corner?
I got the same problem. I think you’re gonna have to ask the neighbor that put the fence if you could cut a piece off the fence off.
Nice job!
Excellent video I'm doing mines i will send you a update when it's done
makes it look easy with no rocks and hard dirt
Great video
How do you remove a section once it's been secured?
You simply undo the screws under the caps, slide out the top rail, then remove the boards
Great job guys, well done! Freddy knows his shit! 👏🏼 Just out of curiosity, which, vinyl brand/manufacturer are u using/recommend?
