    Where is the channel for the panels? Did you use rail locks ?

    • @WholesaleVinylFencing

      this customer did not want the extra expense of channel and the rails are locked in with screws.

    If you want to install vinyl fence on a hillside the best way and right way to do it is to use end post and route the lower side out so it looks like a very straight line. Baahm! Baahm!

    I have never used a double rail . I always get longer panels and cut them to fit.

    How do you measure the post spacing for the incline?

    • @adambuetts
      @adambuetts 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Use your rail as a guide. Go short to error on the side of caution.

  • @bebochavex8727
    @bebochavex8727 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    see the line post required the same degree on the rail holes for it to flow, (if your top rail is 1.5" from top, the continuing rail on the other side should be bout 2.5" lower) also need to cut out the panels out of 16' since the 57.25" end up too short. SMH@ the bottom double rail idea.

    • @Chris-5446
      @Chris-5446 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bebo i don't understand why they doubled up the bottom rail either. Seems unnecessary if u cut the angles without changing the overall height of the pickets. Routering out the first post is where everything got F'd up.

    1:58 what is that screw screwed into? is the other end poking out the post?! lol

    • @gregpflaum
      @gregpflaum ปีที่แล้ว

      It isn't screwed into anything but the rail. The one at the bottom end blocks the rail from sliding uphill and the one at the top end of the rail stops the rail from sliding downhill.

    that looks really great! Have one question though..Are you keeping your posts at the realative same height, that is to say where ever you are putting a post in the ground are you sinking them in the same depth so that no matter the ground slope each post is the same height from the ground it is in?

      Thanks for your comment. We are aware you can use longer pickets but we sell vinyl nationally and many of our facilities only offer 1 size for pickets so this is a work around for those that don’t have access to 16’ pickets.

    Why show the cutting of the picket on the table saw if youre gonna do it unsafely. No good for a how to video. Personally i prefer an angle grinder for this task anyway. Great video otherwise.

    your skirt boards don't even line up dude and those grabbers look like they really hold the bottom rail support the bottom or skirt boards will sage in the heat and the top rail doesn't line up looks like shit dude and yes i've been carpenter for 40 years and do know what i'm talking about my wood fences that I would build will last at least forty years that's because I know how to build them , do you ?

    • @WholesaleVinylFencing
      @WholesaleVinylFencing  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The fence is still looking beautiful. It’s at least 10 years old now. The rails have not sagged and they are still locked in.

    • @jayralston2305
      @jayralston2305 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@WholesaleVinylFencing it never did look beautiful , the material will last the elements but to install it properly and look good is the key but nowadays it’s all about how fast and how much money it will cost . I’ve been retired now for five years and I cannot compete with most on price or don’t want to compete but I will still help some if they need it
