The ship design sits somewhere between Homeworld and Sins of a Solar Empire for me and that works.
For a baby game, it has a lot of moving parts, it has so much potential. Can't wait to see more of it. ✌️
Reminds me a bit of Crying suns, but with base building/research elements included in the battles. Looking forward to the release version.
Turn based homeworld. Seems interesting
Without the third dimension, it doesn't work for me. But as we have seen in the past, that is of course very hard to successfully implement... Anyway, I a m missing the actual space aspect beside the skybox. Splat talk about shooting the enemy ships down "from the sky" and I kind of felt that.
Reminds me of Homeworld and Space Empires. Good luck to the developer.

I noticed replay on the menu. I'd love more games, especially TBS games, to have an end of round full speed replay video like BSG does. I hope that's what's referred to there. If only Battletech had it.
So far, the only thing I would like to see is the color of the grid changed to a color that is not used on anything else in the game. I had a hard time seeing it. Other than that, for as early as this game is it looks great, and it has a lot of potential. I will be getting this one for sure.
Allowing us to set the grid color would be a great solution. Would help with color blindness as well.

I hope this is by the same guys that made Crying Suns because even the ui looks the same.
Crying suns combat was a lot simpler because the focus was on the roguelike stuff. This seems pretty different imo.
@@islebbach sure but that does not cancel what i said. i don't even mind the "copied your homework and changed it a bit", more games like that is great, it's just a bit weird that they didn't even bother to change the ui, but i honestly don't know if that's for the same guys so i digress. anyway i'm getting this :P
I can't say I was too big a fan of Crying Suns after owning it for a while. They did make it mobile which I support because if a game is simple enough it should be on mobile for convenience sake

For some reason this game reminds me of another game from a long time ago, "Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising"
The instant i heard "deploy your carrier and launch ships from it" i was thinking the same thing. That game was pretty original.

I love the UI. It looks very neat and clean, and I enjoy the colors chosen. They look like they all mesh well together. Your ship looks fucking awesome. I would love to see the guy add idle animations. The units look very lifeless without stabilizing sways, small particle events, or anything happening with them. Their movement looks so static and rigid. I think adding the flow of space would do well for the presentation.

Honestly my biggest qualm with homeworld is the controls being kind of unintuitive and the micro management can suck when your units die in seconds while you’re trying to use your abilities or issue commands. Turn based homeworld sounds awesome to me.

You might not have notice but it would appear you can select which weapon you use, not sure if that means anything or its just telling you what those weapons are.
Yeow! . Everything about this game looks delicious . The menus are gorgeous , the resource harvesting doesn·t lag , the customization trees are advanced , and even the vox is well-processed . Good call! .

Not Might and Magic. Heroes (of Might and Magic.) MM was an RPG series, the Heroes games are a spinoff of that. Damn these young whippersnappers not knowing their classics.
