It's the dystopian future. Civilization has collapsed. Food, water, and fuel are scarce. Cannibals roam the countryside, bandits raid from the hills, and everyone is always on the brink of backstabbing everyone else out of just sheer survival instinct. Some Info on the game's development history: Wasteland Express (废土快递) is a Chinese game launched on Steam as early access in September 2022 and fully released a month later, which had a big roadmap and a very promising start. According to the roadmap the base game was just a starting chapter and they initially planned to release a number of later chapters of the game as paid DLCs. Unfortunately they suffered from limited sales and lack of funding, which led to the project being terminated after releasing one free DLC. They did show their love for this game by actively pushing out bug fixes and the event editor, even though they had moved on to their next project named Cavalry Girls released in Oct 2023. They said they might come back to remake the game and release a sequel when they had accumulated enough budgets. So now I just found that they region-locked their original title to Chinese region only and released this international version called Dustland Delivery (should be pretty much the same as the original title, probably with improved localization) as a new game that's correspondingly locked out of Chinese region. It could be the copyright issue of the game's English name as mentioned in other comments.
