Lol, y'all know deep fried is deep fried. This ain't going to get deep fried out the oven. And for those who worry about the oil, Reuse it! There's nothing wrong with the oil. You can use that oil up to three times as long as you put it in a container and store it in a cool dry place. What's the oil is done take the container and put it in the trash. I have metal container. I put the oil in the container. I put the container in the refrigerator. The oil solidifies. I take it out and I said it on the counter. After about 30 minutes at room temp the oil loosens up from the sides of the containers. I get a trash bag. I put the whole block of oil in there. And then I throw that thing in the outside garbage can for them to come and pick it up. I don't eat fried foods that much. But what I do chicken it's going in a Fry Daddy 😂 But, this is a good recipe for oven-baked chicken.
This sounds so simple and I'm definitely going to try this except I'm going to use coconut oil cut with MCT oil. That gives them more of a flavor profile.
I plan to make it in an air fryer. I like your use of the breader and steamer, but my apartment kitchen allows for no more "gadgets" so I'll do the flouring in a hefty bag and steam my veggies the old fashion way -with boiling water and a steamer insert. Thank you!
@mettamorph4523 not at all. you drizzle a little oil into your bowl of panko then stir it together. All the panko gets lightly oiled. Then you just coat your chicken as normal. It is a more even crisp, and less mess and no wasted oil by drizzling it on the chicken when it is already breaded and trying to smear it around.
That looks so good. I'm definitely going to try it. My youngest daughter is obsessed with Tony Chachere's creole seasoning. She has been since the first time I made her homemade chicken nuggets. So I know she'll like this!

Looove the way it smells.... I'll have to find the first chicken seasoning... btw, those were definitely at least a tablespoon of those seasonings which totally fine with me. Loooove white pepper.
I love this and I am definitely making it on Sunday, but will have to go with different blends or make my own due to the salt in all of those seasonings and chicken bullion.
I haven't got to the 3 min mark and I already LOVE this lady..lol As soon as she washed the chicken with lemon slices and THEN cleaned the sink afterwards...she had a fan!!!😂
It could in theory. However, you risk drying out your meat. My suggestion if you don’t like skin is to do Boneless Breasts and pound them like Schnitzel. Then use this method. The lack of a bone and the thin meat will cook fairly fast and eliminate any drying from happening. Cooking time should be 20-30 minutes at 350F/180C
I cannot wait to try this recipe. The only changes I have to make is no Cajun, etc as my hubby is recovering from esophageal cancer. As for touching the chicken - will not bother me. I am an operating room RN For years. But everyone has to wash their hands and clean out the sink, handles, etc. after preparing. Thank you!
Lovely recipe! I would lessen some of the salt tho, any type of bouillon is extremely salty along with other salt based seasonings and then it’s in the eggs, and the flour as well as the chicken if I use bouillon I usually only do about a teaspoon of seasoning salt, onion powder, garlic powder and pepper.
there isnt much salt, but you can adjsut to preference. most of the spices have no salt orther than the bouillon the the salt itself. the others are salt free
I’m gonna try cooking my chicken this way. My apartment stove (electric) is dangerous. Turn the temp down and it goes way up for about 1 minute. Last year, I deep fried chicken and the oil temp went super high without my knowledge so when I dropped the chicken, I got splattered on the chest & belly. I now have 2 pretty big scars. I don’t fry anything anymore. I’ve been using my oven for a number of dishes I’d normally cook on the stovetop.
Thank you for the recipe and also for the olive oil recommendation! I will for sure pick some of that up!! I’m really trying to eat healthier and so this way of cooking chicken is much better!! It’s looks so so yummy!! 💕❤️🙏🏼

love your coating thing. Always you paper bag. Loves yours.
Love that you were so proactive about being clean bravo to you , ill be over nc that meal is BANGING😂😂😂❤
Oh my gosh that chicken looks amazing!!!! I have tried the oven technique but I have difficulty with the chicken smoking. I have it on a wire rack out of the drippings but it still smokes. What am I doing wrong?
Do not use olive oil, it easily smokes. I use canola oil.
This looks absolutely delicious, and I enjoyed your 'style'. Thank you!
Thanks so much! 😊
i dont have 200 bucks for all those spices an oils - but like some of your moves!! looking fwd to try this!! it looks great!!
Looks yummy. I can't have fried food anymore due to not having a gallbladder anymore, but this looks possible. Thank you!
My southern side of the family used lemons to clean chicken, seafood and pork. The Caribbean side uses lime.
This looks beyond delicious . I thought I'd have to give up flavorful Friday chicken . Not now . Thank you an God bless 🌺
I will be trying this soon. Heading to Aldi this afternoon. Leg quarters on sale $1.29 / lb.
I just found your channel and am so exited to make this chicken. I’ve even ordered a breader!
You are making me hungry!!! Wonderful recipe. I can't wait to try it!
I'm so glad your video showed up on my feed! Love your videos...I've only watched 3 but they are funny, easy to follow and informative.
im going to try this.i hardly dont cook with grease.i salute you.
Girl….that look good!! I’m definitely going to try this. I may even brine the bird in salt water or maybe pickle juice.
That knife ain't no joke.
I know right?! It looks like the chicken was butter! I need that in my life.😅
@@Terri-zn9sr Yessssss! I'm so tired of my cheapy dull play play knives.
This technique looks AMAZING! I will definitely try it out.. Thank you!
I tried "oven fried" chicken ONCE. Didn't like it. But after watching your method I know this is The One I will be using continually. Thank you for showing me a much better recipe Camirra!!
The breader is a great invention. Keeps things neat and tidy
I stopped frying food, and I am going to try this recipe, so thank you.
Yes my lady I'm going to make it tonight! Thanks ❤
I love your cooking. I need all your recipes for Healthy cooking. Thank you. ❤
Looove the way it smells.... I'll have to find the first chicken seasoning... btw, those were definitely at least a tablespoon of those seasonings which totally fine with me. Loooove white pepper.
Oh girl this looks so good!!! Can’t wait to try this! Thank you for a new way to cook chicken because I love my chicken!!!
In cajun country we season fried chicken with salt and hot sauce. Yours came out so crunchy. Def gonna try this.
I AM going to make this recipe!!!
You A Doll!!!
Hope you like it!
I always wash my chicken, but I didn’t know about the lemon or lime to use with it as well. I’m going to have to do that now. Thanks.
2:03 'do you boo'...love you already sis!!!
Gonna make this chicken recipe, quick!!
I love this and I am definitely making it on Sunday, but will have to go with different blends or make my own due to the salt in all of those seasonings and chicken bullion.
sounds great. make it your own!
I haven't got to the 3 min mark and I already LOVE this lady..lol
As soon as she washed the chicken with lemon slices and THEN cleaned the sink afterwards...she had a fan!!!😂
Looks delicious. Could this baking method work to make crispy chicken if the skin were removed from the chicken?
Thank you!
My mother used to use a paper bag to bread the chicken in the old days. Watching this brought back the memory. (-:
I use 100%California oilive oil which is good too
I might try. I haven't seen leg quarters in a minute and usually wait for drums to go on sale for $0.99lb.
The grocery store I go to has leg quarters $5.72 for a 10 pound bag all the time.
@@annseabolt6645 nice 👌
Lovely recipe! I would lessen some of the salt tho, any type of bouillon is extremely salty along with other salt based seasonings and then it’s in the eggs, and the flour as well as the chicken if I use bouillon I usually only do about a teaspoon of seasoning salt, onion powder, garlic powder and pepper.
there isnt much salt, but you can adjsut to preference. most of the spices have no salt orther than the bouillon the the salt itself. the others are salt free
Wow that's a great alternative to frying. Thanks for sharing.
This was a very clear, well done tutorial. Thank you chef.
I’m going to try this and I need to get the breading container! Thanks for this!
Thank you for the recipe and also for the olive oil recommendation! I will for sure pick some of that up!!
I’m really trying to eat healthier and so this way of cooking chicken is much better!! It’s looks so so yummy!! 💕❤️🙏🏼
