      I don’t have a singular ‘full Fusion’ tutorial.
      It would be 144 hours long.
      I do have longer form tutorials that’s begin to break down the Fusion page more in depth, though

    This is great because I don't use davinci resolve full-time, and some things are too difficult to learn, unless you put in the time. I just want to do basic colour editing, and this is enough for me. Thanks!

      If you wanted to do that, you’re better off color grading/correcting from the color page
      Then you can either remote grade or copy/paste.

    Hi Daniel, quick question... What is the learning curve for color correction or color grading like in Davinci Resolve. The only editor I've ever use is Camtasia. I'm a total newb when it comes to color editing. I'm looking to create videos on another channel. The videos will be mostly outdoors, nature that sort of thing. I want the scenery to pop!

    • @Daniel_Batal

    Please explain to me why would you use fusion for grading inside Resolve instead of the color page!? That makes 0 sense to me - resolve is literally grading software. And this method is way slower than the alternative.

  • @obe3

    With all due respect. It is far more effective to use the actual color page?
    You can also just use the Cmd - d or ctrl - d shortcut to view the origional, or create a new version, or even view a gallery still.
    This is far more complicated than nessesary, both in rendering and technique. Teaching people a backwards way to approach something that should be simple makes little sense.
    While this is useful if you are needing to match additions to plates during VFX. But not for simple color correction.

    • @Daniel_Batal
      @Daniel_Batal  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      With all due respect: The part you might not see is that this is a video for Noobs. Most beginners are completely lost by the color page. The biggest problem beginners have is that they get overwhelmed.
      Now, you can argue that this is a useless feature but DR is the one who incoporated it, not me, and it's a very simple way for someone to quickly dial in brightness & contrast and simple color changes without having to dive into the world of the histograms if they aren't ready.

    • @obe3
      @obe3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I appricate the reply Daniel, I did note that and do understand what you are getting. I do see the goal behind your approach.
      It's personal opinion, but I would like to argue that that switching to the colour page may be easier. It defaults to the primaries tab and auto selects the first node and you can apply corrections right away which would be simpler than using the fusion page, adding a corrector and switching the viewing window. As you have the same controls as the fusion colour corrector present in the colour page.
      Perhaps showing that and giving a basic overview of offset, contrast and sat may help viewers? It will also be easier for them to copy and paste their grades and make changes etc if they get better and revisit the project down the line.
      Just some thoughts and genuine suggestions. If you still feel they are not valid I completley understand
