Today you are not one of my favorite people. I drove 1200 miles round trip leaving Saturday and coming home on Sunday to the nearest Buchheits store in Kentucky to pick up this splitter. My body is completely exhausted from all the driving. Having said that later this week I will be putting this together and using it to split some live oak wood. That will be a good test for it. This is the most affordable splitter with a log lift I have found thanks to your video.
if it makes you feel any better it was worth the drive i think you will be very happy with the splitter so far i have been the only thing you will want to change the splitter handle from horizontal to vertical its only a 15 dollar part in takes about 5 minutes to fix super simple that was my only real complaint with the splitter here is a link to the video on how to fix it th-cam.com/video/Bo77Ri5FgWc/w-d-xo.html
This is now the third video of yours I've watched regarding this splitter, looks like a real good machine, especially with that six way on there. Does it kick most of the wood off the right side? Thank you for taking time to film, edit and post this video. Liked and subscribed.
thanks for commenting watching and subscribing it the 6 way wedge likes to flare up the wood you kinda got to hang on to the round as it is getting split it is kinda picky i will be making a video on the subject later
Wow I just got the video today 1/22... WHAT AN OUTSTANDING DEMO... I just ordered one, and I'm gonna pick-it-up after the holidays when I go back to give Uncle Sam his dew... Thanx for your videos on this splitter... also keep us informed on the mods... Stay Cool, Peace from Creel Chihuahua Mexico...
i watched your first video on this splitter-isn't that beam height bothering your back? dunno i have mine at 34" and its good...0 back issues splitting all day
the beam height is a little low but not terrible the worst thing was the horizontal handle that killed my back but i have changed it to the vertical position that is a must and it was a super simple fix

Could be worse, I'm 1,600 miles from the nearest store in Nebraska.

Thanks for the shout-out! The six way does great. I leave our six way in the processor. The 4 way wedge is my favorite. Great job mister.
