Sound logic brother, I'm with you. Keep cuttin'!
Great to see you back in action! Love your shows 👍
Nice to see your machine! I have the log lift on the operator side. My log lift is floating type. I installed the log lift on the right side of the machine, because I am right-handed. I tried to prevent logs from falling to the ground. If necessary, my wife also hands partially split logs back to me.
Just picked one up for $99.99 at Harbor Freight , one day sale with coupon. You can pass on this for that price.
Thanks for the advice, I picked one up at 61 yrs old I’m learning to weld. Thank you!
@stevecummings4345 congrats never to late to learn
I cannot imagine having the lift on the operator side. Sounds like a big pain in the back to me! Love your setup neighbor!
I couldn't see it either anytime neighbor
Me and my friend just went out to take home a puffball and a chicken! I’m just double-checking here on yt to see if it’s not just black spores I need to worry about. I’ve only ever seen giant puffballs be eaten, so I’m studying!
Yes study hard can't be too careful with mushrooms
Picked up 2 today, $99 ea
Awesome
Learned to stick weld in high school in the early 80s but was interested in learning this type. I picked one up today at HB marked down to $99 and I had a $15 off birthday coupon (I turn 60 this month) so I pulled the trigger. Hope this old dog can learn this new trick. Good video thanks
Your welcome glad you liked the video and I am sure you can learn to weld just have fun with it
Just picked mine up for $100. Cant wait to try it out.
Awesome
do you have any idea what chain the Neotec 16 takes in terms of drive links, chain gauge, and pitch? I see confusing information on the Neotec website for the NS846.
Not off the top of my head don't have Time to look just see what it is a clone of and look those specs up would be my suggestion
Definitely makes sense to have it where you do.
Thats what I thought
If it works for you who cares what everybody else thinks looks good to me.
I'm not worried I'm happy with what I've built just thought it would be a good video subject
Good job
Thanks
Looks like a lot of good reasons to have your log lift over there. You might want a longer log lift tray? Since it's over there you won't be restricted at fighting space. Need to cover weight/tip of the machine though.
It will not tip the way I built it it has a 40 inch wide pan and Jacks on both sides for stabilization works well
Are you selling wood this year?
Yes he is
Yes
I'm about to build a whole new front end on my 49' Allis Chalmers C, because I use it for pulling logs, bush hogging and scraping and I need a lot more weight in the front end, so I'm going to fabricate my own front end and run normal truck tires on it and I should have around 300lbs-400lbs on the front end, should do perfectly for what I'm doing, I'll make a video of it as well
Awesome sounds good send me a link when it's done I will watch
Enjoy your videos very much. Also learn a lot. I think putting those Predator Motors on old tractors is interesting and pretty neat. Keep it up!
Thanks glad you liked the video
$99.99 on Wednesday, October 02, 2024. 1 day only.
Markspark, heck yay picked mine up at 8:15 this morning allready, a year and half ago they were 199.99. I have a 1950’s Lincoln Tombstone welder and that still works great I just picked up for free and oxy acetylene torch and now I’ve got a simple little flux welder for those quick smaller jobs
got one today.
Awesome
My name Fazal khattak, and I waching from Salisbury MD. I am getting ready to put predator in farmall cub. I wish you can become my consultant
I don't mind helping and answering questions
Why does everyone put the log lift on the opposite side of the machine from the operator? Seems to me you’d want it you side so you don’t have to walk around the machine. What am I missing on the ergonomics here?
Check out my latest video it will answer your questions
@@Farmscrap1183 thank you so much for the info. Fwiw I didn’t think it was ‘stupid’ so I hope it wasn’t me that made you feel that way. I genuinely didn’t get it. Your way does actually make sense and I sure do appreciate taking the time to answer.
@TheJunkFarm sorry if I come off rough didn't mean to but I did thank it was a good video hopefully it helped and cleared everything up for you aswell
Sorry if I came off rough in the video didn't mean to thought it would make a good video hopefully it cleared everything up and made sense for you and thanks for watching

I harvested some whoppers today.. Most are in the dehydrator but I saved one for supper..
Awesome
Thank you for this video. im an older dude that has always wanted to learn to weld. Saw these on sale at HF and bought one though I still have to get everything else that I need. I couldnt see a good view but it looks like you have a handle on your old one? I am curious about that as mine seems to have only come with a strap of some type.
I welded the handle on the strap is for carrying
@@Farmscrap1183 thank you
Love your attitude on life. New is 2k used id 500 bucks but what is wrong with it,so clone for the win. These clone saw are great way to get big power cheap and have fun learning about saws.
Yes I have really loved all the clone saws so far
Feel like we've been lied to the last 100 years after seeing this 😂. Impressive indeed.
Thanks

Real close to 45 just looking at it works great with no problems

Good job buddy!
Thanks
Good to see ya stretching into new areas sir!
😅
So far so good
Thank you sir easy fix 😎 i like the easy fixes
Yes it is very simple to fix the right way
Does your bucket have a play after the bolt with a moving hook has been tightened? Or is it as tight as it was before installing quick hitch? Also many videos have the moving part facing an operator.
It seems tight and the way I have put it on is working real good so far
That's cool
Thanks
Always fun cutting trees down! Thanks for making for pasture for us to see 😉
Yes trying to keep it workable
I like tue color on that saw.
Yes I thought it looked good to

Instead of the GS buy the 11 It’s rated to have welds on top of welds where the GS is rated for single pass only
I will have to try it
You, the man💪🤜🤛 thanks for the video
Thanks glad you liked it
Sweet machine!
Oh yes it has it's place
What is the optimal diameter wood for that machine?
12 to 16 seems to be the sweet spot
Very interesting
Glad you think so!
