When my son was six, we went to a parents' evening, where we got the chance to look through our kid's schoolbooks. In one of them, there was a two-page spread of drawings with the title "My Favourite Moments This Year." There was the usual sort of pictures, like his birthday party, going to Butlins, etc... and then, about halfway down the second page, a very detailed drawing of him digging a grave (complete with coffin and a tombstone with a cross on it.) Nope, we have no idea how, why or where that came from, but apparently it was a highlight for him at some point...! (Clandestine school project of some sort, maybe?)

Last year my preschooler made his own story titled “Sex.” Apparently the book was filled with made up words featuring the letter x (it was the letter they were learning about that week in pre-K). His little voice innocently asking my husband again and again what the title said was one of the funniest moments of my life. 🤣

That is the most accurate drawing I have ever seen of dolphins my entire life. No joke, dolphins are actually dicks. When I went to Hawaii, I did a manta dive & there were these dolphins that kept playing around us & at first, we thought it was cute but then we realized that they had found a sea urchin & was playing with it as if it were a toy. Those bullies were torturing the poor little urchin! Dolphins, they’re dicks of the ocean.
