I have a 2017 Macan GTS & your review of it back then was the final factor in purchasing one. I have had some awesome vehicles over the years but this one is by far the best all around for comfort, practicallity and handling. What I didn't expect was over 50,000 miles of zero problems. The most reliable vehicle I have owned. Keep it up Porsche!
I'm lucky to own a '14 Cayenne GTS since new and it is definitely the most reliable car I've seen. 70k of city miles and the only things to have been fixed were the A/C and the suspension air bag (which tends to leak after 8 years of pothole treatment). German quality or Porsche quality? Maybe both. I've brought my '21 Volvo in the shop more than that
I was in NYC and 9/10 Macans we saw were base or S trims. Rare to see a GTS and when you do, it’s the previous gens. This GTS is for the driver. We just sent in our build for the 2023 GTS allocation in November! We have also watched this video 1000 times
I got a GTS '22 and I use the Sport mode when cruising alone and Sport+ when "having a bit of fun" driving. The Sport mode actually sounds better when driving, burbling more. Using the paddles on B-roads (and when Sport+ respone is wanted but it keeps a gear to low). It's the Macan GTS because Driving is fun, and the baby demands the space.
I have a very serious question. As a gts owner how has maintenance been with other previous porches in your experience? Also how much did your GTS price wise it came too? I'm asking because I own a car fleet of rentals and I'm expanding to more higher end because I love cars and I've always wanted to own at least two proches. I'm waiting for 2023 models.
I have a GTS and absolutely love it!! Door sills are scratched and so is the trunk. But you have to abuse it a little bit to get the most out of it!! :) Love your channel and the content you guys do!!
have a '22 S - it's spec'd up past the entry price of the GTS - an equivalently spec'd GTS would have only set me back another 7-8k, but did not feel the extra power from the same platform was worth it. I also wanted it to be as comfy as possible (so 10mm lower/stiffer in all settings was not ideal). Final decider was that i didn't want black pipes/window surrounds on a dark grey car (not a fan of all blacked out look) Love my S - it's faster than i can really use on the street and drives on a cloud when just tooling around town. Best car i have ever owned, by far

Yuri i have to agree with Jakob. I own a macan and I notice them EVERYWHERE especially living in oakville.. this is every soccer moms choice but no gts .. mostly S and the base I rarely spot GTS. In dt Toronto they're a bit more prevalent but there's an abundance of S

Hello Straight Pipes! Recently we bought a 2022 Macan GTS in volcano grey. I can confirm that we drive it like a sports car and we bought it for the performance 😂👍😄
I’m happy the topic of ‘how common is this car’ was talked about in this video. I personally wouldn’t enjoy paying that much for a vehicle if i would see it around every corner like BMWs and Mercedes
Upgrading from a 2018 gts to a new 2023 gts. This is the only car i have bought twice. It’s that good for a daily in michigan. My mom has a 2019 S without sport exhaust and sport chrono and the air suspension is amazing but the motor is a compelte letdown. Not sporty at all. What a shame and no wonder they dont use that single turbo v6 anymore. Does not sound good at all and when you donwshift at lower speed it feels like the engine is suffering. Mahagoni Brown with beige interior is definetly recommended though XD

2022 Macan GTS owner checking in (also in Toronto) - loved the review... agreed its not the sweet spot... its just the best spot for a no-compromise best all-rounder car. In Normal mode it does quiet comfortable highway driving very well... then in the city I'm guilty of being that obnoxious driver always in Sport Plus and using the paddle shifters (!) so I can hear those fantastic upshifts on throttle and burbles when I lean off. I still have yet to feel this thing ever lose traction in the corners (PTV and summer tires are specced), its so damn planted and handles unexplainably well for an SUV.

For fun. Bring some joy to the world
I bought one, I use it in Manual Mode, and mine came with Pirelli P zero Corsas in Houston... its quick.
Got one in smoke grey …..max optioned and drive it in sport mode, dropped suspension, and manual almost elusively. It’s a daily 911 on stilts. Love the intro. You guys are great.
This 2.9L biturbo V6 that you find in the Audi S6, S7, RS 4, and RS 5 is just amazing in this car~
Don't worry Yuri, I just ordered a Macan S and will drive it like a Porsche is supposed to be driven.
In normal mode at mall parking lots
@@TheStraightPipes too funny. Easily the best comment.
My father has one on order because its fast, medium sized and "easy to get into" compared to his S3... lol
shout out to jakub's sweet watch collection
i feel like he's amassed a good one
rolex two tone, sweet spot
Yes, my mom bought one of these. And yes, she has no idea it’s fast. She bought it mostly because it’s the top trim. I’m actually the one who spec’d it. You’re absolutely right lol

I drove by that green Cayman last night, it's on Parkside Drive. What a coincidence! :D
Caranddriver mentioned the new Macan GTS having less steering wheel feedback than before, have you guys noticed any difference in steering feel?
This is the perfect car for me. It's the only car I would actually buy if I was rich. It's fast, it's sexy, it's comfortable, and it fits the entire family...
The thumbnail 😂
this intro LOL - epic boissss
So the manual button on the steering wheel just started in the 2021?
Great videos guys!
“Things that I like… this doesn’t have android auto, f**k em” - had me rolling
