      Thanks one more time. There's a reason why not many do it this way. It is very demanding production wise. Takes a long time to record the track from several angles, edit the video etc. Replay itself is a mess in DCS, it often breaks. Most will just choose some general dogfight (you can upload three such videos a day, literally). GR do 'reenactments' but they just try it once and whatever happens, happens. They don't even bother to choose a proper skin, they probably just select default skins. So, they had for example an East German MiG-19 attacking USS Liberty. :)

      These are actually Sidewinders. Pakistanis adapted them for the MiG-19. And the airplane is kinda cool when you learn a bit more about it.

    Nice! This was quite an action. The first MIG’s attack on the SU reminded me another video on this channel when Syrian (?) MIG-19 chased an Israeli and messed the attack right the same way. Eastern hot blood + crosshairs mark on a careless enemy’s six = aiming amnesia.

    • @showtime112
      @showtime112  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      You are probably thinking about that video with Egyptian MiG-19s intercepting Israeli paratroopers. Well, it's much harder to hit than it seems :) In this case, the pilot was possibly startled because flak hit is airplane.

    • @showtime112

    • @showtime112
      @showtime112  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      This channel covered Indo-Pak conflicts in five videos. In two of them Indian MiG-21s shoot down Pakistani Starfighters. In one Pakistani F-86 shoots down an Indian MiG-21. In one, a Pakistani MiG-19 shoots down an Indian Su-7 and finally in one an inexperienced Pakistani MiG-19 pilot chases Indian Sukhois without orders, forgets to set his sight, misses and barely returns to his base on fumes. By what standards is that 'focusing too much on Pakistani side'?!? Have you even seen all of these videos?
      A very important factor in selecting a topic is availability of assets in DCS World. For example, nothing from the 1965. conflict has yet been covered because none of the aircraft flown by India are available. We basically have MiG-21, MiG-19 and Sabre from that period that are high-fidelity modules plus F-104 as a simple mod. There was some talk about Hunter being developed which would open lots of possibilities.
      If you can recommend a good historic source from the Indian side, feel free to do so.

At the end of the war..India said that most of the aircrafts were destroyed on the ground giving Pakistan the edge. Israel then copied PAF 1965 attack.
