Hi, I am struggling with turnfighters like the spitfire, can we get a video on how to use them. I would love to see this and hope you can make this video. You are one of my favourite wt youtubers. If you read this thank you.
As a Ground RB enjoyer who gets dookied on in Air battles, I just wanted to applaud the high quality of the editing and videography of this video. This truly is one of the best War Thunder videos I’ve seen in a while, and it deserves way more views.
Ive been playing on public Pilotage and aussimantis CB's for years just to learn how to be a better and more impressive pilot. I love showing off my skills to other pilots in impromptu airshows. Lots of great inspiration in this video.
Yeah, doing the Herbst turn in Harriers took me about 50 hours to learn and probably another solid 20/25 hours to get down, and so much trial and error learning when to and not to thrust vector also how much to give it, which changes depending on Fuel amount and loadout, even loadout positioning on the wings because drag is a massive factor, definitely worth it though because it turns the Harrier GR7 especially into something that I can now regularly outfight F16's and Mig 29's in, incredible skill that in my opinion is an absolute must if you are serious about using them outside of a strike role
Even after ~11 years of War Thunder I never ever touched Air Realistic Battles AND had fun at the same time. Yet I´m still fascinated how people are able to pull off things like these and always enjoy watching videos like these.
Kvochur's Bell is able to be done with most aircraft in the game, but because of how many of them behave in a flat spin it is usually only able to be done once. I have had the most success with the La-7, it enters and exits the maneuver very quickly, smoothly, and reliably. With enough skill it can be used in a dogfight when one is losing as a 'Hail Mary' maneuver.
One maneuver which can be used to great affect in actual combat is the slow speed rudder turn. Only certain aircraft and specifically Mig-21 variants can maximize the potential of this maneuver. It’s a dogfight positioning maneuver which easily makes some of the best pilots slip up when you’re facing them.
My go to move when an enemy is coming in from the side or 90 degrees, if you do it correctly it acts both as a defensive maneuver and an offensive when where your able to get a decent space to pull off a burst or two
I like to fly Air RB with an attack plane to fly nap of the earth to get in and get out using the terrain to mask and protect me. The Intruder is my favorite so far. I’m looking forward to the Skyhawk next. Since the economy changes I have a lot more fun even if I don’t earn much or even anything as long as I’m having fun doing it. Gaijin finally got that right after all these years. Great video btw.
4:00 I don’t have fighter jets, but I like to test fly the MiG-23ML and I can do it easily now. The hardest part is trying to get out of it and stabilise otherwise you’ll spin out of control and fall out of the sky
In my experience the A4E Early has been excellent for pulling the Kvochur Bell or somewhat similar move. Usually I only need 3,000 feet of clearance from the ground and I can pull it when an enemy is coming in which I won't be able to shake off. With the A4E I just go with 1x Gun Pod and 2x Heat Seeking missle loadout. In combat, Turn missle seeker on, perform maneuver, recover, lock missle or gun pod on target and send it.
after watching i realized that in the past i have been able to perform more basic versions of some these with prop aircraft, which is really all i have to work with anyways. really neat stuff, also much harder to control as what is generating all the thrust is at the front rather than the rear
Wow, I think I've just found a masterpiece. So gorgeous 😍. You're one of those true pilots who enjoys flying as much as fighting. It's pleasure to meet you, brother 🤝
How do you have so few followers?! Just stumbled on your channel, the editing, timing, pace everything is dialed in beautifully. All wrapped with a zero clickbait sensationalized BS, straightforward, and direct. Keep up the good work bud, you're now my primary Warthunder air channel.
Firstly, great video with useful tips and quality editing. Secondly... The Harrier GR.7 can pull 17Gs in a subsonic turn and can perform both the J turn and the tail slide, all thanks to thrust vectoring (similarly, all about timing and positioning), plus a lot of unique VTOL-specific maneuvers that pretty much no aircraft in the world can follow. Submit to the cult of the Jump Jet. Thank you.
If you're on KB&M the Bell maneuver can be done by beginning to climb the aircraft, partially cutting the engine, and just holding the E and D keys at the same time.
kvochur bell is even easier to pull of. using standard controls in mouse aim fly at about 600 kph cut the wep but keep power at 100%, then just press pitch up and the rudder button at the same time and the tomcat will do a near perfect kvochur bell.
This has gotta be some of the best editing I’ve seen for a WT vid in a while, and I’d love to see these manoeuvres in game especially when thrust vectoring fighters do get added.
i think this maneuvers are only viable in dogfight if you know them well enough to not mess up and you know when to use them the kvochur bell is the most obvious of this example, because, like shown in top gun: maverick (i know it's ironic) it allows you to slow down a lot and, with some luck, even makes it so that you can shoot the enemy as they are passing by; i myself use this in quite the number of occations the j turn may also have its use, but while it is theoretically effective, not only does it require to outrun someone vertically, but it is not viable at all if missiles with an overload equal or bigger then 15 Gs are in the equation, which you are definetely finding at the br this can be performed finally, there's the tailslide, which unfortunately is only worth using in like 1 specific situation out of thousands (and would require perfect execution too), but it is very cool to watch
7:16 There is a reason in the USA hawaii aircraft test flight map there are open ended hangars lined up front to back like that. Also a reason there is the trench run single player mission for the F6F-5 or 5N.
Tail slides are incredibly useful if you have a better angle of climb than your opponent. Bait them into stalling out and the mop up the kill. Just the same a props it just looks sooo much cooler
I have around 700 hours logged up in WT since 2016, the highest BR plane i've got is the F4-J, not too many planes on my collection, and the thing i do most in the game is test flight all aircraft i can and just fly with them, see how they work and do as you say, aerobatics and looking at gorgeous planes just do their thing. All gameplay issues appart, War Thunder is a great game.
I found a substitute for the bell maneuver that involves pressing sde all at the same time and dealing when pointing down for the fastest recovery it need you to have a wider wingspan but it does work
The kvochur bell can actually be useful in very specific situations where you have good acceleration but low top speed. I did it once in the tornado F.3 (kind of, not 90* though) being chased by an F14 and actually got a kill after the F14 got in front of me. That being said there is normally much safer ways to drain speed. Not in jets like the tornado though.
I actually executed hte kelbuit (Backflip) manouvre several times in the mirage III a while back and have used it in dogfights to attempt to shoot aircraft behind me. With super high thrust/weight aircraft you probably should reduce your throttle while doing it because thrust makes your plane a bit more stable as it stops your plane from bleeding speed as quickly and lifts your plane up.
btw if you turn the back engine off on the yak 141 or only vector the front ones it will give you insane amounts of nose authority, to the point where you start flipping at low speeds, so you could master it
6:57 the only situation where these will *always* come in handy its in the rare ocation (like, winning the lottery 2 times rare) when you and another pilot have been in a 1v1 for so soo long that both aircraft are stalling and none of you can get in a good position due to the awfull agility at 200km/h (and the near null skill gap if both of you have been dogfighting for that long)
I know of one insane maneuver that puts all of these to shame. You take an F-4, an interceptor that isn't know for its maneuverability, and you flip it. A man named Muggs did that in the Vietnam War.

yoo pili can we get a more in depth tutorial on how to do these, and or also can these be done with some premium planes?
Please forgive me for such impudence, but how do you instantly switch to full control mode? Tell me, I’ve been struggling with this for 2 months now!
yes... but when I watch in slow motion, they instantly somehow switch...@@blsxtdrk
You should be able to do it with the Kfir canard and the tailslide with the MiG-21 Lazur

There are 2 versions of war thunder videos.. the meme filled one and the cinematic filled one like this.. i love this community
You can tell how much time has been put into this video, I absolutely love your editing🤙🤙
THE TRAIN MAN
Kvochur bell can sort of be done by just giving full roll and rudder to one side in normal control mode
it is possible to do all of these with mouse aiming.... XD too many years of old flight sims .... >.< lol dont judge
yea i know i call this chipi chipi chapa chapa belt * i know its cringe * but the aircraft wich does the best is the f5
What if I did it with an F-4 to let 4 enemies fly by and me pick them off one by one
@@UJV2010 because they are launching on you at 20 meters out unless your playing at a low br all that fancy stuff won't mean Jack at rank 10 or above

Hey Pilicast, I just wanna let you know, you're the reason I've gotten into wanting to learn aerobatics in War Thunder.

The cinematics are on point! Really well done🔥
Learned to do a cobra in the draken and it’s pretty dope, great way to flex when taking off too.
I was able to do the tailslide thing in the Hornet once, it may be possible in other props but I haven't tested enough.
Props?
