I am a Genshin player that does care about F12 of the Abyss. However, I will fully endorse Jello's opinion about using venti for F9-11. I ALWAYS use Venti on one of my teams for floors 9-11. It trivializes the timer restriction for those floors that have 20 small enemies that spawn all around the arena and I love Venti for this!
I wasn't set on Hu Tao, but seeing this upcoming banner is absolutely cracked for her. All 3 characters are good on her, but more importantly good for me. Hu Tao + Xingqui + Yelan + Diona & my Keqing + Fischl + Sucrose + just need to get a good dendro and I got two teams.
I've been a c0 Hu Tao main since her first release I'm used to her c0 gameplay but I'm running out of new characters I want and I've started going for constellations so ill be going for her c1 giving my favorite double hydro team a 6th 5 star. (c1 yelan, kazuha, and c1 tao with homa)
Coz c1 ingoners her stamina while she uses her skill and does charge atk , you can do as much charge atk as your skill time stays, so that's a huge dmg increase, if you don't have c1 then you have to do 1 normal and charge atk or jump cancel with is very difficult
@@StanleyG23 I didn't have any of the good 4 star options at the time and was still using white tassel, i'm used to jump canceling, and in domains I have enough damage to play like I have her c1 already because everyone dies by the time she runs out of stamina.
Im saving for Albedo or Yoimiya, every time they come around I lode my 50/50. Skipping the new characters for reruns, unless the arcon is cracked or the geo claymore lady is as deadly as she is hella cute.
Wriothesley's catalyst might be good on wanderer because of the high base atk it provides and crit rate of 22.1% but the passive is honestly shit since it will only give 12% atk and the rest of the passive won't be applied since wanderer's hp won't decrease most of the time since you'll be playing him with shielders. Although, he can gain stacks when his hp increases, most of the time his hp would be full, so it's not very consistent. But if you're to pull for wriothesley anyway and his weapon, and have already have wanderer then it's a good option. But if you've already built wanderer with widsith(which is also not very consistent in its passive,since 2/3 times to be a good passive), then it's a bit of a question as to if wrio's weapon is actually worth it for him. So I'd rather say that going for wrio's weapon don't think about wanderer. Just go for his weapon if you want it for wrio and also there's a good bow elegy with ER stat.

@@johnthegametologist Tbh I should go for Venti more than Neuvi, he is op in 90% of the abyss and I dont have a strong anemo yet. Also if I get a Xingqiu to replace Kokomi I could use her as main dps instead of Neuvi as you mentionned but I'll let the 50/50 decide who I'm getting lol. Good Luck with Hu tao 👍
I'm waiting for Venti for one year, so there's no real question for me... I'm just becoming VERY impatient, so I would have preferred him to come in the first part (and let me waste the rest of my primos trying to get the other characters).
I think Hu Tao is the strategic pick for power gaming but Nuevellette is the coolest. I like Rizzley too but I already have Ayaka. I could do a full cryo party though….
My target have been set to Hu Tao, but after seeing how cool and elegant Neuvillette is, I want to have him too, but we will eventually get all the Fontaine character rerun again soon during the duration of Fontaine, so I just have the see other people experience with him, have some insight about him first before pulling for him when he rerun.
Phase 1 is a doom for me! 😅 I want Neuvillette and Hutao. I would really really want the chief justice with his signature weapon. For 2nd Phase, now you mentioned the catalyst will be good for wanderer, it made it a good weapon banner to pull for for me. I'm eyeing for Elegy for Venti mainly so I would not mind losing on the catalyst and vice versa. 2nd phase character banners are both skip. I will hold off for Wriothesley until his next first rerun.
Ayaka's best team right now is Ayaka/Kokomi/Shenhe/Kazuha. Venti can be great to gather spread out opponents, but Ayaka will lose significant damage buff from Kazuha. However Venti is still a very good unit and you can use him in many teams even if you already have Kazuha.
While Kazuha is generally better, Venti is very good. On floors with spread out enemies that can be sucked into Venti's burst, he can completely turn difficult floors into a joke.
I already have Hu Tao and Venti and I do like Neuvillette, but I'll probably wait for a re-run to pull him... gotta try to save some primos for the waifu trinity of Arlecchino, Clorinde and Furina (maybe also Navia if she does something interesting with Geo). That said, I will go for Wrio because I really want to play a Cryo on-field dps - ice is usually my favorite element in games and other media, but so far I haven't really enjoyed any Cryo character as an on-fielder, whether they are "meant" for that role or not (I'm not counting Eula because I count her more as Physical) and Wrio finally seems like that 'actually fun to play for me' Cryo on-fielder. Also, as a JoJo fan, I simply can't ignore that "Ora ora!" 😂
I don't get why Venti is so good? I have him, and I use him practically never, I use Hu Tao more, and she's used twice a year at most. Like, is it his crowd control? But Sucrose and Kazuha do the same thing?
Already have Venti, Hu Tao is a 'never pull' for the same reason Furina is a 'never pull'...just don't like the character themselves no matter how hard I try. Going all in for Neuvillette. I'll build pity on Wriothesley's banner as I can afford: if he comes home early, woot! If not I'll wait for his rerun.
I already have Kazuha and I don´t actually need any of these 5 starss but there are rumors that Xinqiu and Fishel will be the 4 stars in the Hutao banner since I´m 2 pity I´ll probably go for them.
I already have Hu Tao C1, and while I do need a CC anemo besides Sucrose, Venti doesn't seem reliable to me for when abyss has anti Venti. I was thinking of Neuvilette, but after seeing how he works, I am not sure he fits my character roster
Honestly, even if you're a newer player, I'd say skip Venti. Yes, he has uses, but the problem is that he's a bit more niche than who he competes against, due to the lack of buffing and his tornado lifting enemies out of reach of certain units. You're better off investing in a generalist, more all around useful unit, one that groups and buffs. And nope, domains with spread out enemies don't really matter. You get 180 resin per day. That's 4.5 runs a day, because, if you care about saving time, you're using condensed resin. And that's in a game with very little to do. And if you're F2P, save for Kaz. Unless, of course, you think Venti would be fun. Then get Venti. Because, it is, after all, a game, and fun should be paramount for all but the content creators.
Also isn’t it hard to say until people have them hands on? Because didn’t people say Zhongli sucked when he released? And now he’s like one of the better characters in the game?

Not saying that he is wrong in this video I’m just saying isn’t it hard to tell until they release and people mess around with them for a day or two?
Venti is one of the best characters ever! He was my first five star character and I was so happy. I didn't get how to play him but once I understood how to play him, I just go, put an element and then do his burst and done.
venti is my 1st five star ever but to be honest he's not the best character, he's the weakest archon and annoying one is he is useless against large enemies
@@mykzbeazy6171 Same, I've even learned what teams he works in despite his weaknesses. In a freeze team large enemies are still sucked in when frozen, unless they are unfreezeable or bosses.(The higher his level the better as this improves his suction.) Though it's easier to use his burst to gather Dendro Cores into one area and do one big blast since it's always effective and swirling Hydro or Electro benefits making more cores or making a bunch of aggravate hits which also turns his burst into a dendro missile launcher.
Finally I find a character that I can pull for by justifying I'm not just doing it because it's a waifu or a meta character but because I can just punch people with it.
As a Dehya main, I can attest that most problems in Genshin can be successfully solved within the time limit by punching the problem repeatedly while your friends cheer you on from off-field.

I will never understand the hate that Venti gets when he's the second best battery in the game and that there hasn't been a single Abyss cycle since his release that doesn't include a "Venti half" where his burst trivializes the non-boss floor. You also brought up the great QoL he provides an account in how his burst can make most domains a 10-20 second affair letting you dump your resin faster than practically anything else. You also brought up the comparisons to Kazuha but man do I feel like his energy generation is woefully underrated because giving him a Fav Bow on top of his Stormeye passive is enough to knock ~30% ER off my Ayaka + Shenhe team or my Xiangling in a National team. Frankly speaking, the only teams I prefer Kazuha are on my Aggravate teams or my Yoimiya or Hu Tao teams where their ER isn't as important. I don't doubt that Kazuha will be the de facto support for characters like Neuvilette or for Mono element teams but I can't imagine a better AoE unit than Venti.
No way he is the 2nd best battery when Raiden and fischl exists. He only regenerates energy for swirlable elements so no energy for dendro, anemo or geo and only for 1 element absorbed through his burst. Unless you’re running a mono elemental team that’s only energy for 1-2 characters. Also both fischl and Raiden contribute to electro resonance for more energy while venti doesn’t.
@@ilikecheese1233bruh fischl is only a good battery for electro. And raiden 's batter is highly dependant on ult which while easy to channel one into another you can't also just waste it because it's gonna be harder to get it back if you don't use it on a lot of ennemies. Venti's 60 cost makes it so you almost always have permanent uptime with a single skill usage. Additionnally Venti is the best swirler in the game by far. Also he creates energy fir anemo characters because he regens anemo particles. Only exceptions are geo and dendro but these teams don't even rely on CC to begin with or rather can't because of how restrictive their teams are already. Venti will always be the go to Easy mode for genshin. It trivializes every bit of challenge the game throws at you at early levels and even later is still such a good QoL character.

@@cloudy978 I’m not sure if what u said about generating energy for anemo is true because the passive only states venti and the swirled element. But even then, you usually won’t use 2 anemo in a team anyways unless ur playing an anemo dps in which case you would want faruzan as the 2nd anemo
I've been waiting for Venti since i missed his first run. I wasn't playing the game on his reruns (i actually stopped playing when i lost my first 5 star pity to Diluc), and wasn't even aware reruns would be a thing, so he will be finally coming home after almost 3 years later
Going all out for Wriothesley. 😭🙏 I have good enough teams to 36 star abyss so I’ve just been saving for a character that I really want to spoil, and that’s going to be him. And his weapon banner is so good, too! So I’ll be spending it all for him.
1. It took some analysis, but Venti is my pick. Crowd control and resistance shred at its finest (except maybe Kazuha). He fits a lot of teams and makes them better. He's the kind of universal character you can put on just about any team. 2. Hu Tao... no doubt one of the best DPSs in the game. It's just that you need to build the team around her, instead of fitting her into your current teams. I learned the hard way with Alhaitham that "high skill" characters aren't as fun for me personally. That doesn't mean it's the same for you, it's just that if you're not using them right, they'll under-perform and you won't enjoy them so much. 3. Neuveillette and Wriothesley will rerun in like 4.5 or 4.6, so no loss there. If nothing else, wait and see. I don't know how they perform and I never pull for anyone the first time around.
Tbh Venti is my favourite and I joined last year during his banner and got him despite being a hardcore type of person. I definitely agree with your take on him- he sped up my early game a Ton and he still feels very QOL. That he still sucks in large enemies towards each other just slower is underrated. There are still times in the abyss when several small enemies are very spread out where I don't regret happening to have him lol.
Honestly, Phase 1 Weapon Banner looks like it's going to be insane. It both has Staff of Homa and Neuvillette's Weapon and will have some of the new 4-Star weapons as rate ups (which will most likely include the new HP% Sword).

9:00 wanderer + venti is one of the strongest speedrunning teams in the game. hot take but venti is as (if not more) valuable in that specific team than kazuha in any of his teams

I think one of my favorite parts of having so many meta dps is that I don't have to worry about the meta anymore, ironically. My initialy goal was just to get one op main dps of each element and the best versatile supports and sub dps. Just my c2 nahida alone has given me the freedom of going for characters like rizzley without being worried about them not being "too strong". here comes my future overworld king who might never touch the abyss, lmaoooo.
Indeed. I main nahida and raiden and I can 36* abyss in less thn 30min nowadays without failing while using the same team. My goal now are to collect every cool looking and cute character.
As a Venti owner since 1.0, he's definitely worth it. It's only boss and huge enemy floors in Spiral Abyss where he's not the best choice, otherwise he's a must have for both combat and exploration. And even without the vacuum of his burst (or ignoring the wonkiness on where the vortex spawns sometimes), because you can infuse it + VV set, Venti is still good

I’m getting my fancy Frenchman Neuvillette and hoping to grab Wrio as well if I can. I’ve been playing for so long that character strength doesn’t really matter to me anymore so I mainly want t enjoy messing around with a new character
The thing about "he's worst than kazuka" is kinda stupid The second best soccer player in the world is worst than the best player. BUT HE'S STILL THE SECOND BEST SOCCER PLAYER IN THE WORLD If you have neither (or need "another kazuha" for the second team) he's absolutely worth it
Yes, Kazuha is the best characters in the game (you can argue about Nahida but still) so everyone in this game is worse than Kazuha. Kazuha is not my favorite characters in the game so I am objective.
I'm going for Venti! I'm adding him to my Freeze team because i love Kazuha but he breaks my freeze. I cannot wait to bring Venti to every coop domain ever. As much fun as showing off with Kaeya and Chongyun is, Venti will probably be more useful. Also, his voicelines are some of the best in the game, I love how playful they are!
If you only use the up part of Kazuha skill and not the down plunge, then you won't shatter the freeze. It's kind of scuffed floating slowly downwards, but that will fix your problem. Venti is definitely excellent for freeze as well, I usually run him with Ganyu.
@@phoenixlau i know, but I've got tight rotations due to ER requirements, so that second long pause can screw up a lot. As it stands, it's better to break the freeze and refreeze them than it is to drop to the ground instead.
100% Venti. He's not weak or even powercrept by Kazuha... Arguably the only time he's clearly weaker is in International team (when double swirls are needed in general) The grouping from Kazuha is a bit overrated, he's the comfy unit. Venti is just harder to play in monotarget because you actually have to aim for Burst. If there is a difference between the 2 it's abyssmal
I honestly am pleasantly surprise at how good Venti has been for my account even though I already have Kazuha. They're both carrying my heavy a$s in the abyss lately, didn't regret getting him

I've had Hu Tao since her first banner and was thinking about pulling for her weapon. I'm glad you mentioned the new Battle Pass Spear being usable on her. Now I can spend my primos on Wriothesly.
I'm perfectly fine skipping since I got everything necessary for Hu Tao and Venti, eh I already have every other anemo unit. So it's all about the new guys.
I love venti but wasnt sure if I should pull for him....im end game and love exploration more than anything else. If he makes exploration fun then that seals it, ill pull for him! Can venti mains confirm his pull value in the overworld? Is it easy and fun to play?
It's nice because he gives the air current for overworld, can gather mobs so the drops end up all cluttered after they die and has very easy energy regeneration. Very nice to pair with Kazuha if you already have him. Also, the Abyss rotations where he is featured, ends up having a floor 12 with some stages with lots of small enemies that you can gather like bandits, etc.
I already have Xingqiu, Zhongli, and Yelan and it's almost viable to pull for Hutao. However, I'm very much happy with my well-built, triple crown Heizou and I don't think I need another DPS anymore. I am rather a fan of AOE/CC units such as Kazuha. I hope to get Venti on the next phase since I still don't have him.
Venti haver here. I rarely use it, but just because I have so many options that often he is an overkill. However, there are some contents where having Venti just trivialize the fight. For multiple waves of small mobs, he still is the best.
1. Raiden's AoE team is hyper Raiden, and you need C6 Sara to make the damage comparable with other teams... 2. Neuvillette's damage difference between AoE and single target is the same what the heck? His best team includes Fischl, which further improves the team's single target potential.
It's a pretty good decision (to go for Ayaka and Mistsplitter), don't worry. I think Ayaka will still be the strongest cryo, although i admit Wrio's gameplay seems really fun. But getting Hu Tao's cons (if you already have Homa) is fine (personal opinion) if you really like her and use her all the time.

I absolutely agree on Venti. I had him for like a year and a half now and he just trivializes everything. Hell I would often slot him and not Kazuha unless if Venti just doesn't work and Kazuha does.
Venti is like the biggest 50/50 character. When enemies are ventiable he is among if not the best character in the game. When they are not ventiable he falls off a cliff. So it really all depends. Imo he is very worth it for your account for the enemies that are ventiable. Most of the time he is the best option against said enemies.
Shes the best dps in the game on single target if shes used at full potential. Sadly over 95% of people dont use her to the fullest. My c6 r5 hu tao out dps' my c6 r5 yelan and neuvilette lol. and im using them all with their best builds, sets, team comps, etc. its really the fact that homa maxed is OP as hell, EM and perfect cancellation playstyle.
You sound a lot like me when it comes to pulling. I usually only pull maybe once or twice a year. Next for me is a c6 Arlecchino then will prob not pull again for a long time.
I think people underestimate Venti a lot. In Venti content Venti is a free win. Outside of that he is worse than Kazuha and Sucrose but you knwo what: A lot of chsrs are worse than those too. But something people just ignore: He still works. He still has VV + and if you know how to position yourself the energy refund. This is really good. Biggest issue are double swirls. But he doesn't become useless outside of Venti content.
In freeze, he is never worse than Sucrose because she is so useless for freeze team and mono team. Sucrose is more niche than people say. Venti give energy, every team want it, Sucrose give EM and it is niche. Kazuha buff cryo, pyro, electro, hydro dommage so it is clearly very good and that's why he is the best when Venti doesn't work.
Originally I was saving for zhongli but I ended up losing my 50 50 to qiqi. I managed to get to 40 pity and I doubt I'll be luckily enough to get him even if I finish the new event. I'll probably save my new gaurenteed for venti
neuvillette is strong on paper but in reality he isnt bc of his MV which is often ignored in spread sheet. his special CA has windup time and can be interrupted as such it cannot immediately deals dmg as much as its dmg was calculated
Tbh the thumbnail kinda similar to my thought, I want off-field characters because it will be easier to make a team for desperate days in Abyss. About Venti, I'm not sure about him, maybe I will look at 4* char to put some pulls there and build pity for later banner
4 star on his banner sucks, besides venti is realistically only recommended for people who are very new, after a while you just bench him forever until that one perfect moment where little minions need to be grouped, get a kazuha tbh, he will do atleast 70% of the grouping venti does and he will be useful everywhere else, do you want an absolute master of grouping little weak shit? Or do you want something which can do everything just nicely? 🫤
Geez, I want both, Neuvillette and Wriothesley, they both look really cool, I'm short on primos and can't decide who to wish for, sitting at around 6k primos and 50/50 on my backpack haha
If it helps you decide, Wriothsley is reported to not be a complete character until he gets the massive buffs from his C1 that improves his CA and teambuilding options involving healers
@@awoosionist5825 it's the same for Neuvilette. Despite the kit being more complete from start, without C1 the team composition is a bit restricted since it forces a Balanced Resonance. C1 enables to use Hydro resonance or more creativity without that much hitback.

If we disregard the Abyss, can I realistically just play Hu Tao without spamming her charge attacks? I know people keep saying "you can do whatever you want in the overworld" but I'd like a serious answer this time. Is it compareable to say cryo infused normal attacks from Ayaka or is her scaling just painfully low on her normals?
I'm guaranteed and I don't know who to pull. I have c5 Xiangling so I'm not sure if HuTao is worth it. I have Kazu so I'm going to pass on Venti. Not sure if Hydro daddy or Cryo daddy will be useful to me.

I wasn't set on Hu Tao, but seeing this upcoming banner is absolutely cracked for her. All 3 characters are good on her, but more importantly good for me.

& my Keqing + Fischl + Sucrose + just need to get a good dendro and I got two teams.
I've been a c0 Hu Tao main since her first release I'm used to her c0 gameplay but I'm running out of new characters I want and I've started going for constellations so ill be going for her c1 giving my favorite double hydro team a 6th 5 star. (c1 yelan, kazuha, and c1 tao with homa)
Why'd you decide to pull for Staff of Homa over Hu Tao's C1?
Coz c1 ingoners her stamina while she uses her skill and does charge atk , you can do as much charge atk as your skill time stays, so that's a huge dmg increase, if you don't have c1 then you have to do 1 normal and charge atk or jump cancel with is very difficult
@@StanleyG23 I didn't have any of the good 4 star options at the time and was still using white tassel, i'm used to jump canceling, and in domains I have enough damage to play like I have her c1 already because everyone dies by the time she runs out of stamina.

Im saving for Albedo or Yoimiya, every time they come around I lode my 50/50. Skipping the new characters for reruns, unless the arcon is cracked or the geo claymore lady is as deadly as she is hella cute.
Wriothesley's catalyst might be good on wanderer because of the high base atk it provides and crit rate of 22.1% but the passive is honestly shit since it will only give 12% atk and the rest of the passive won't be applied since wanderer's hp won't decrease most of the time since you'll be playing him with shielders. Although, he can gain stacks when his hp increases, most of the time his hp would be full, so it's not very consistent. But if you're to pull for wriothesley anyway and his weapon, and have already have wanderer then it's a good option. But if you've already built wanderer with widsith(which is also not very consistent in its passive,since 2/3 times to be a good passive), then it's a bit of a question as to if wrio's weapon is actually worth it for him.
So I'd rather say that going for wrio's weapon don't think about wanderer.
Just go for his weapon if you want it for wrio and also there's a good bow elegy with ER stat.

@@johnthegametologist Tbh I should go for Venti more than Neuvi, he is op in 90% of the abyss and I dont have a strong anemo yet. I'm waiting for Venti for one year, so there's no real question for me... I'm just becoming VERY impatient, so I would have preferred him to come in the first part (and let me waste the rest of my primos trying to get the other characters).
I think Hu Tao is the strategic pick for power gaming but Nuevellette is the coolest. I like Rizzley too but I already have Ayaka.
I could do a full cryo party though….
My target have been set to Hu Tao, but after seeing how cool and elegant Neuvillette is, I want to have him too, but we will eventually get all the Fontaine character rerun again soon during the duration of Fontaine, so I just have the see other people experience with him, have some insight about him first before pulling for him when he rerun.
I like Wriot, quite like Neuvilette, Hu Tao for me is always easy skip and i have Venti. But all my primos are for the adorkable gremlin archon

Phase 1 is a doom for me! 😅 I want Neuvillette and Hutao. I would really really want the chief justice with his signature weapon. For 2nd Phase, now you mentioned the catalyst will be good for wanderer, it made it a good weapon banner to pull for for me. I'm eyeing for Elegy for Venti mainly so I would not mind losing on the catalyst and vice versa. 2nd phase character banners are both skip. I will hold off for Wriothesley until his next first rerun.

Is venti a good addition to ayaka koko freeze team?
Ayaka's best team right now is Ayaka/Kokomi/Shenhe/Kazuha.
Venti can be great to gather spread out opponents, but Ayaka will lose significant damage buff from Kazuha.
However Venti is still a very good unit and you can use him in many teams even if you already have Kazuha.
While Kazuha is generally better, Venti is very good. On floors with spread out enemies that can be sucked into Venti's burst, he can completely turn difficult floors into a joke.

I already have Hu Tao and Venti and I do like Neuvillette, but I'll probably wait for a re-run to pull him... gotta try to save some primos for the waifu trinity of Arlecchino, Clorinde and Furina (maybe also Navia if she does something interesting with Geo).
That said, I will go for Wrio because I really want to play a Cryo on-field dps - ice is usually my favorite element in games and other media, but so far I haven't really enjoyed any Cryo character as an on-fielder, whether they are "meant" for that role or not (I'm not counting Eula because I count her more as Physical) and Wrio finally seems like that 'actually fun to play for me' Cryo on-fielder.
Also, as a JoJo fan, I simply can't ignore that "Ora ora!" 😂

Already have Venti, Hu Tao is a 'never pull' for the same reason Furina is a 'never pull'...just don't like the character themselves no matter how hard I try. Going all in for Neuvillette. I'll build pity on Wriothesley's banner as I can afford: if he comes home early, woot! If not I'll wait for his rerun.

I already have Hu Tao C1, and while I do need a CC anemo besides Sucrose, Venti doesn't seem reliable to me for when abyss has anti Venti. I was thinking of Neuvilette, but after seeing how he works, I am not sure he fits my character roster

Honestly, even if you're a newer player, I'd say skip Venti. Yes, he has uses, but the problem is that he's a bit more niche than who he competes against, due to the lack of buffing and his tornado lifting enemies out of reach of certain units. You're better off investing in a generalist, more all around useful unit, one that groups and buffs. And nope, domains with spread out enemies don't really matter. You get 180 resin per day. That's 4.5 runs a day, because, if you care about saving time, you're using condensed resin. And that's in a game with very little to do. And if you're F2P, save for Kaz.
Unless, of course, you think Venti would be fun. Then get Venti. Because, it is, after all, a game, and fun should be paramount for all but the content creators.

Zhongli gets buffed after protest by CN community, he's not a good character when he first got released.

Venti is one of the best characters ever!
He was my first five star character and I was so happy. I didn't get how to play him but once I understood how to play him, I just go, put an element and then do his burst and done.
venti is my 1st five star ever but to be honest he's not the best character, he's the weakest archon and annoying one is he is useless against large enemies

In a freeze team large enemies are still sucked in when frozen, unless they are unfreezeable or bosses.(The higher his level the better as this improves his suction.)
Though it's easier to use his burst to gather Dendro Cores into one area and do one big blast since it's always effective and swirling Hydro or Electro benefits making more cores or making a bunch of aggravate hits which also turns his burst into a dendro missile launcher.
There are two types of people in this world:
1) Those that get pressed by defend the monolith.
2) Stress free Venti havers.
I guess I’m not people: I send enemies flying away from the monolith with a Noelle team or and Overloaded team
that goddamn monolith with pyro balloon and flying spitter is so f** annoying
Finally I find a character that I can pull for by justifying I'm not just doing it because it's a waifu or a meta character but because I can just punch people with it.

As a Dehya main, I can attest that most problems in Genshin can be successfully solved within the time limit by punching the problem repeatedly while your friends cheer you on from off-field.

@@Axterix13Yeah I'm a Dehya Main, I play her in mono pyro team where she is the star on field DPS, it's an amazing team, it flows like water, I been 9* abyss 12 with it for months.
I will never understand the hate that Venti gets when he's the second best battery in the game and that there hasn't been a single Abyss cycle since his release that doesn't include a "Venti half" where his burst trivializes the non-boss floor. You also brought up the great QoL he provides an account in how his burst can make most domains a 10-20 second affair letting you dump your resin faster than practically anything else.
You also brought up the comparisons to Kazuha but man do I feel like his energy generation is woefully underrated because giving him a Fav Bow on top of his Stormeye passive is enough to knock ~30% ER off my Ayaka + Shenhe team or my Xiangling in a National team. Frankly speaking, the only teams I prefer Kazuha are on my Aggravate teams or my Yoimiya or Hu Tao teams where their ER isn't as important. I don't doubt that Kazuha will be the de facto support for characters like Neuvilette or for Mono element teams but I can't imagine a better AoE unit than Venti.
No way he is the 2nd best battery when Raiden and fischl exists. He only regenerates energy for swirlable elements so no energy for dendro, anemo or geo and only for 1 element absorbed through his burst. Unless you’re running a mono elemental team that’s only energy for 1-2 characters. Also both fischl and Raiden contribute to electro resonance for more energy while venti doesn’t.
@@ilikecheese1233bruh fischl is only a good battery for electro. And raiden 's batter is highly dependant on ult which while easy to channel one into another you can't also just waste it because it's gonna be harder to get it back if you don't use it on a lot of ennemies. Venti's 60 cost makes it so you almost always have permanent uptime with a single skill usage.
Additionnally Venti is the best swirler in the game by far.
Also he creates energy fir anemo characters because he regens anemo particles.
Only exceptions are geo and dendro but these teams don't even rely on CC to begin with or rather can't because of how restrictive their teams are already.
Venti will always be the go to Easy mode for genshin. It trivializes every bit of challenge the game throws at you at early levels and even later is still such a good QoL character.

I wasn't playing the game on his reruns (i actually stopped playing when i lost my first 5 star pity to Diluc), and wasn't even aware reruns would be a thing, so he will be finally coming home after almost 3 years later

Going all out for Wriothesley. 😭🙏 I have good enough teams to 36 star abyss so I’ve just been saving for a character that I really want to spoil, and that’s going to be him. And his weapon banner is so good, too! So I’ll be spending it all for him.
1. It took some analysis, but Venti is my pick. Crowd control and resistance shred at its finest (except maybe Kazuha). He fits a lot of teams and makes them better. He's the kind of universal character you can put on just about any team.
2. Hu Tao... no doubt one of the best DPSs in the game. It's just that you need to build the team around her, instead of fitting her into your current teams. I learned the hard way with Alhaitham that "high skill" characters aren't as fun for me personally. That doesn't mean it's the same for you, it's just that if you're not using them right, they'll under-perform and you won't enjoy them so much.
3. Neuveillette and Wriothesley will rerun in like 4.5 or 4.6, so no loss there. If nothing else, wait and see. I don't know how they perform and I never pull for anyone the first time around.
Tbh Venti is my favourite and I joined last year during his banner and got him despite being a hardcore type of person. I definitely agree with your take on him- he sped up my early game a Ton and he still feels very QOL. That he still sucks in large enemies towards each other just slower is underrated. There are still times in the abyss when several small enemies are very spread out where I don't regret happening to have him lol.

Honestly, Phase 1 Weapon Banner looks like it's going to be insane. It both has Staff of Homa and Neuvillette's Weapon and will have some of the new 4-Star weapons as rate ups (which will most likely include the new HP% Sword).

I think one of my favorite parts of having so many meta dps is that I don't have to worry about the meta anymore, ironically. My initialy goal was just to get one op main dps of each element and the best versatile supports and sub dps. Just my c2 nahida alone has given me the freedom of going for characters like rizzley without being worried about them not being "too strong". here comes my future overworld king who might never touch the abyss, lmaoooo.
And the nice thing is you can also pair him with C2 Nahida for Hyperfridge (Wrio/Nahida/Yelan/Kuki) and get good results in the Abyss.
Indeed. I main nahida and raiden and I can 36* abyss in less thn 30min nowadays without failing while using the same team. My goal now are to collect every cool looking and cute character.

As a Venti owner since 1.0, he's definitely worth it. It's only boss and huge enemy floors in Spiral Abyss where he's not the best choice, otherwise he's a must have for both combat and exploration. And even without the vacuum of his burst (or ignoring the wonkiness on where the vortex spawns sometimes), because you can infuse it + VV set, Venti is still good

I'm going for Venti! I'm adding him to my Freeze team because i love Kazuha but he breaks my freeze.
I cannot wait to bring Venti to every coop domain ever. As much fun as showing off with Kaeya and Chongyun is, Venti will probably be more useful. Also, his voicelines are some of the best in the game, I love how playful they are!
If you only use the up part of Kazuha skill and not the down plunge, then you won't shatter the freeze. It's kind of scuffed floating slowly downwards, but that will fix your problem.
Venti is definitely excellent for freeze as well, I usually run him with Ganyu.
@@phoenixlau i know, but I've got tight rotations due to ER requirements, so that second long pause can screw up a lot. As it stands, it's better to break the freeze and refreeze them than it is to drop to the ground instead.
100% Venti. He's not weak or even powercrept by Kazuha... Arguably the only time he's clearly weaker is in International team (when double swirls are needed in general)
The grouping from Kazuha is a bit overrated, he's the comfy unit. Venti is just harder to play in monotarget because you actually have to aim for Burst.

Venti in mono target is not only a bit harder to play, he straight up provides much less than Kazuha in every conceivable way.
I honestly am pleasantly surprise at how good Venti has been for my account even though I already have Kazuha. They're both carrying my heavy a$s in the abyss lately, didn't regret getting him

I'm perfectly fine skipping since I got everything necessary for Hu Tao and Venti, eh I already have every other anemo unit. So it's all about the new guys.
As a Vanti Main since day one, he's always giving. Plus his mobility in overworld especially before wanderer he really is amazing.
I love venti but wasnt sure if I should pull for him....im end game and love exploration more than anything else. If he makes exploration fun then that seals it, ill pull for him! Can venti mains confirm his pull value in the overworld? Is it easy and fun to play?
Yes definitely
He was the second 5* I pulled for and totally changed my gameplay experience. Fun and useful character.
It's nice because he gives the air current for overworld, can gather mobs so the drops end up all cluttered after they die and has very easy energy regeneration. Very nice to pair with Kazuha if you already have him. Also, the Abyss rotations where he is featured, ends up having a floor 12 with some stages with lots of small enemies that you can gather like bandits, etc.
I already have Xingqiu, Zhongli, and Yelan and it's almost viable to pull for Hutao. However, I'm very much happy with my well-built, triple crown Heizou and I don't think I need another DPS anymore. I am rather a fan of AOE/CC units such as Kazuha. I hope to get Venti on the next phase since I still don't have him.
Venti haver here. I rarely use it, but just because I have so many options that often he is an overkill. However, there are some contents where having Venti just trivialize the fight. For multiple waves of small mobs, he still is the best.
1. Raiden's AoE team is hyper Raiden, and you need C6 Sara to make the damage comparable with other teams...
2. Neuvillette's damage difference between AoE and single target is the same what the heck? His best team includes Fischl, which further improves the team's single target potential.

It's a pretty good decision (to go for Ayaka and Mistsplitter), don't worry. I think Ayaka will still be the strongest cryo, although i admit Wrio's gameplay seems really fun. But getting Hu Tao's cons (if you already have Homa) is fine (personal opinion) if you really like her and use her all the time.

real I'm pulling neuvillette the minute I log in, he's going to be so fun I have zhongli I have kazuha I'm good.
Personally ill just skip all of them and go for Furina, gotta have all 5 archons.
I absolutely agree on Venti. I had him for like a year and a half now and he just trivializes everything. Hell I would often slot him and not Kazuha unless if Venti just doesn't work and Kazuha does.
Venti is like the biggest 50/50 character. When enemies are ventiable he is among if not the best character in the game. When they are not ventiable he falls off a cliff. So it really all depends. Imo he is very worth it for your account for the enemies that are ventiable. Most of the time he is the best option against said enemies.

If you have not got Hu Tao yet, pull for her. She’s a monster of a dps even at C0.
Shes the best dps in the game on single target if shes used at full potential. Sadly over 95% of people dont use her to the fullest. My c6 r5 hu tao out dps' my c6 r5 yelan and neuvilette lol. and im using them all with their best builds, sets, team comps, etc. its really the fact that homa maxed is OP as hell, EM and perfect cancellation playstyle.
Skipped 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, 3.8, 4.0. 4.1 is even easier skip.
Where are worthy characters? I'm ready to C6 someone after C6 Yelan in 3.4.
You sound a lot like me when it comes to pulling. I usually only pull maybe once or twice a year. Next for me is a c6 Arlecchino then will prob not pull again for a long time.
I think people underestimate Venti a lot.
In Venti content Venti is a free win.
Outside of that he is worse than Kazuha and Sucrose but you knwo what: A lot of chsrs are worse than those too. But something people just ignore: He still works. He still has VV + and if you know how to position yourself the energy refund. This is really good. Biggest issue are double swirls. But he doesn't become useless outside of Venti content.
In freeze, he is never worse than Sucrose because she is so useless for freeze team and mono team.
Sucrose is more niche than people say.
Venti give energy, every team want it, Sucrose give EM and it is niche.
Kazuha buff cryo, pyro, electro, hydro dommage so it is clearly very good and that's why he is the best when Venti doesn't work.
Originally I was saving for zhongli but I ended up losing my 50 50 to qiqi. I managed to get to 40 pity and I doubt I'll be luckily enough to get him even if I finish the new event. I'll probably save my new gaurenteed for venti
Just spend some money, 100 bucks will get you Zhongli

Honestly from all 4 Venti interests me the most. But im not sure if i want to get him or Focalore hydro archon.
neuvillette is strong on paper but in reality he isnt bc of his MV which is often ignored in spread sheet. his special CA has windup time and can be interrupted as such it cannot immediately deals dmg as much as its dmg was calculated

Tbh the thumbnail kinda similar to my thought, I want off-field characters because it will be easier to make a team for desperate days in Abyss. About Venti, I'm not sure about him, maybe I will look at 4* char to put some pulls there and build pity for later banner
4 star on his banner sucks, besides venti is realistically only recommended for people who are very new, after a while you just bench him forever until that one perfect moment where little minions need to be grouped, get a kazuha tbh, he will do atleast 70% of the grouping venti does and he will be useful everywhere else, do you want an absolute master of grouping little weak shit? Or do you want something which can do everything just nicely? 🫤
Geez, I want both, Neuvillette and Wriothesley, they both look really cool, I'm short on primos and can't decide who to wish for, sitting at around 6k primos and 50/50 on my backpack haha
If it helps you decide, Wriothsley is reported to not be a complete character until he gets the massive buffs from his C1 that improves his CA and teambuilding options involving healers
@@awoosionist5825 it's the same for Neuvilette. Despite the kit being more complete from start, without C1 the team composition is a bit restricted since it forces a Balanced Resonance. C1 enables to use Hydro resonance or more creativity without that much hitback.

If we disregard the Abyss, can I realistically just play Hu Tao without spamming her charge attacks? I know people keep saying "you can do whatever you want in the overworld" but I'd like a serious answer this time. Is it compareable to say cryo infused normal attacks from Ayaka or is her scaling just painfully low on her normals?

I'm guaranteed and I don't know who to pull. I have c5 Xiangling so I'm not sure if HuTao is worth it. I have Kazu so I'm going to pass on Venti. Not sure if Hydro daddy or Cryo daddy will be useful to me.
