I got diagnosed recently with inattentive ADHD and this vid was really helpful, I was offered meds and im still unsure, especially with the addictive side to it. The idea of taking it only when you really need to seems like a good option, thanks for sharing your story about it!
I agree that the best way forward is to find a lifestyle that fits with your personality. That said, there are non-stimulant medications that many have found helpful. They still alter brain chemistry though, so not to be taken lightly.

i use loads of black coffee to help my inatentive adhd
as well as a good diet and exercise of course
Does coffee give you jitters at all? ☺️
