I did that. Someone was following me home from the bar one night, fortunately with my friend. I noticed him and instead of taking my exit off the freeway, I took the next one and drove to the police station. I pulled in and then the guy noticed that it was a police station. He drove passed and had to turn around to get out of the newly developed area.
Amen, what an excellent course of action. Even just driving to the Local PD would hopefully do the trick. If she was too crazy to get the hint, then police would be RIGHT THERE to arrest that crazy woman for her felonious activity.
I'd do almost this. Because she'd probably notice it was a police station and leave before she learned her lesson like the comment above me. I'd have called the police right then and have her follow me to some other parking lot. I'd also take video of her for evidence.
Story 6: I've heard of a similar situation, but the OP had their wallet in the bag. The Karen tried to snatch and run when the OP's back was turned. The OP naturally yelled for security, who stopped Karen. Karen tried to say it was her bag and demanded OP be arrested. Police called. OP then tells cops her wallet was in that bag. Cops search bag, find wallet, Karen gets free taxi to jail with new bling.
Second story: even if it’s “office buildings,” besides having a “key,” how do you know that I don’t “work” there and need to get something from one of those “offices?”
IDK Y it took me So Long to figure out that Almost All Karen victims are passive, anxious, introvert or just non-confrontational. This particular story pointed it out that, after the First Attempt to get in, I🦸♀️ would have had a few Violent & Offensive words to say about how I Am Going Past You, with or without an Ambulance BiteMeBitch‼️(people trying to reason? With a Karen? Nah!) Reasoning doesn't work with a Karen, they Only hear what they Want to hear 🙃
Stalked over a souvenir bag is a new one for me! That was creepy. It gave me the chills. I don't even think people do that when they see someone with a real Birkin bag. I would have drove straight to the police station with the police on the phone and tell them the crazy lady had been following me around in the store and then started following me and let the police take care of it.
I'm glad you wrote out exactly what I would have done. If at all possible, I'd have photographed the license plate or written down the plate number. It's because of creepy trash people like that we have to take so many precautions. :(
Pretty much the same as I'd do. If someone is crazy enough to follow so blatantly without even attempting to hide it, there's no telling what she'd do if she could catch you alone or find out where you live.
I would have been calling the police before leaving the store. Like "I had one conversation with this lady about my bag, and she said her daughter would love to have it. Now she's just following me through the store, and not being sneaky about it."
I've heard that Phantom or the Opera got an update. When she went to the store again her friend told her that she was banned from the store because she attacked a minor girl and tried to take her Totoro jacket because "her daughter would love it". She is clearly unhinged and I hope her family gets her the care she needs. Of course even if they checked her into a psych ward she probably wouldn't get better if she maintains that she did nothing wrong etc etc. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink you know
Do you know if she was arrested for assaulting that minor girl? I certainly hope so! And you're right, she is clearly unhinged. But just banning her from the store without her being arrested just means she's free to go do this at another store.
@@karenogush5622 keep in mind that these stories can be a bit vague on the details. The update I heard didn't mention police or arrest but I can't imagine that they wouldn't 🤷♀️ Actually I kinda wonder about the daughter because I once heard a story where a woman tried to steal a nice car for her son. Turns out that her adult son wants nothing to do with her but she keeps trying to get into his life with gifts that he'll like. Even if that means trying to steal stuff. And she wonders why her son is estranged from her. So hearing this I wonder if it's a similar situation.
@@ponyfairyVania I hadn't thought about that but that could be the case. She could be trying to buy her way back into her daughter's life or maybe even be delusional (who's to say she even has a daughter to begin with). This is another reason I hope police were called, because if she is delusional or mentally ill in another way maybe they'll be able to mandate some sort of psychiatric care for her.
@@karenogush5622 I guess all we drama lamas can do is hope she got the police called on her. Whatever her relationship with her daughter is (or if she has a daughter) she needs professional help.
A B-B gun hunting deer?? That's a toy that has no business except target practice or teaching gun safety, unless it's in the hands of PROFESSIONALS hunting rats and crows (see TH-cam vid selection). And the "B-B" guns they use are way too expensive for poachers.
It's also Illegal to Hunt within a certain distance of Residences...and if they were close enough to OP's home for their flashlight beams to be seen, they were definitely within the Prohibited Zone... So that's yet another Charge for Mr. & Mrs. Karen to get hit with...
That depends on local law. The channel "Gold Shaw Farm" up in Vermont is facing issues relating to this. His poultry farm guard dogs were upset, found out there were racoon hunters letting their own hounds run on his property, and the hunters are fighting him in court over their hunting rights to chase prey wherever it goes.
@Undomaranel I think that's horrible. I've watched his videos on that. My dogs ran into your property im allowed to go get them. Actually not without permission. Even with hunting dogs you are liable for them on and off the lead. And the "we've been hunting this way for years before you owned it" isn't a valid excuse either. My uncle hated hunters on his property. His cattle and hogs were shot at more than once and even stampeded through a barbed wire fence when hunting dogs got too excited. He shot 2 of the dogs as they had damaged 2 of his calves legs to the point he had to cull them. He had dairy and beefers in his fields. The hunters then had the gall to ask for the veal because well they "paid" for it 🤦♀️ good gravy the judge was hot. I honestly can't remember how much the fine was but the calves were prime dairy cows that could have provided milk for many years. This was back in the 70s and I know it was a huge deal. The big hunting/gun club had members who were so upset at the the ones who had done this that they came out and helped fix the fences and helped round up the missing cattle. It was a mess.
Should have called the Police/Sheriff Deputy. Karen and hubby would have been heavily fined, and lost not only all their guns, but any vehicle involved in the illegal hunting. Bye bye, family car. Also, here in my area, "armed tresspass" is a Class Three Felony.
@@lancerevell5979 and probably lost their kid to CPS custody for involving a minor in felony crime. They are really lucky that OP's parent didn't shoot them all in defence for armed tresspassing
Very gutsy of them to say that they knew they were on public land when they cheated their way in through a gate they didn't have a code for. I wonder if their small brains thought it was a state park because sometimes those have gates at the visitor entrances, but surely all the houses would give it away?
@@lancerevell5979 Trapping deer is poaching. You can get years and years in prison for it, especially given the other charges liked armed trespass that the DA could have stacked on top of it. Depending on what their previous record was, their parole officer might not have even been born yet.
One time I had a stalker following me for miles, while driving at night. I had no phone, so I pulled into a convenience store, jumped out and yelled call the police as I opened the store doors. The guy peeled away fast. Getting someplace public and well lit to seek help is safer than getting trapped in an unfamiliar place.
I'm so sorry this happened to you. This must have been terrifying 🥺 We're you able to get any details of the car or did the shop's security camera pick up the licence plate number? I'm glad you're safe ❤️
@@victoriabutterfly6521 I'm so old now that security cameras were not so common then. The only reason I was so concerned, was that the hiway we were on was isolated so I feared being forced off the road. This went on for over forty miles and I was driving way over the speed limit to get away. I grew up in a rough environment so I was always overly aware. I so wished to attract a cop to pull me over, but none were out that night.
Back in the days before cellphones, I was on the freeway, in a more rural area between towns. A guy pulls up in the lane beside me, just staring at me. That was uncomfortable, so I slowed down to let him pull ahead. He slowed. I sped up, so did he. I took an offramp quickly without signaling, he swerved across lanes to follow me. I got back on the freeway going the other way, and when I got to town I pulled into the gas station/garage where I worked. Two of the tow truck drivers were outside, so I pulled up by them. The creepy guy pulled in the driveway after me, but when he saw me talking to the drivers, he pulled through the gas pumps and out the other driveway. Never saw him or his car again. Don't know what I dodged that day, but it wasn't good!
The only Stories that are better than ones ending with a Karen in Cuffs are the ones that ended with a Karen in a coffin... Unfortunately, I have yet to find one of those... Darn It!!! On the other hand, there's always tommorow to make one of my fondest dreams come true... 😄😁😆😅😂🤣
Story six.... When being followed, best thing is to drive to the nearest police station. If the stalker stays, get the attention of a cop, tell him/her about the stalker.
If you can find a busy gas station or restaurant, it's even better, because not all police stations are full of cops during shifts. But run into a Sheetz, you have at least 3-4 people with you. Drive up to McDonald's and tell the speaker you'd like someone to escorts you inside because of a stalker.
@@janburkin357 Definitely! Write down her plate number and snap a picture too! She should call her friend and make sure he/she remembers the details for the statement. No Joke that "lady" is not stable! Also, she got home & thought "Crap, I forgot to get what I went to the store for"
OP *never* should have gone to their car in the first place. Stay inside of the store and in plain view of the public. Alert store staff you are being followed, and have them call the police. Never go to your car if you suspect you are being followed. You are safer out in public than within the confines of a car. If you are already in your car when you notice someone is following you, do not drive home, drive to the nearest police station and ask for help. Most stalkers will get spooked if you go to a police station (in which case you should try to memorize their license plate and a description of the vehicle itself) and then report the vehicle to them so that they can track the vehicle down and follow up on the situation.
Story 5: as a longtime Lurker of Reddit I know that a Karen's Signature Move is to interrupt their victim and Hope that the Manager (or whoever is in charge) will just take Karen's word for it and let Karen have her way, except that never happens because of things like; Needing details from both sides, Eye-witnesses and my favorite CCTV Footage of Karen Committing a Crime
It's not just a Karen thing. It's a common tactic of thieves. Causing a big ruckus gets people (the manager/employees/etc) to react impulsively to try and calm the situation. Theives take advantage of that to abscond with your valuables. The trick is to practice staying calm and firm, not letting the Karen get you worked up. You being calm makes the manager/employee stop and reasses & undermines Karen's control over the situation.
Pro tip: If you're ever in a situation like in story 6, or any other situation where you believe you're being followed, DON'T DRIVE HOME! Drive to the nearest police station then park in their parking lot. The stalker/Karen/creep will usually get spooked and leave you alone. If they don't, go inside and tell them you're being followed and would like police assistance. The police will take care of it and make sure you're safe. They may even give you a police escort home if warranted.
This is incredibly situational, if possible follow the operator's instruction and try to see if the stalker will follow you past where police vehicles pull out from. This may not work because they may get spooked when seeing black and white but if they are determined enough to follow you through there, you may be able to have police pull out in front and back of the stalker's vehicle and box them in. Once again, incredible situation and don't expect it to work but you never know.
@@Lightna Thanks! I'll keep that in mind! I know it's super situational, but any information that might help keep me (or anyone else) safe is worth it! Safety is always top priority!
For story 6: If I were in that situation I would have pulled into the town hall and walked into the police station at the back entrance. Police station seems to be 100% the place to take her in a situation like that one.
Story 6: It's kind of terrifying that this Karen had the mentality of a Serial Killer, she tried to follow OP home and who knows how far she would've gone to get that Bag from OP?..
I would have driven to a police station and flagged a police officer or waved down a cop car. I kept thinking Karen would have driven past the house and probably came back later.
Story six, if she'd follow me in every isle, I'd ask if she wanted a date or something. Lol if she followed me in the car I'd drive around and stop at the police station
Story 6: I find that pulling into a police station parking lot usually discourages the most persistent stalkers. If that doesn't discourage them and if they still follow, you can phone the station from your car and I assure that an officer will be happy to come out and chat with your stalker.
Regarding Story #5: The level if that Karen's delusion was so high (sticking to her story even after being contradicted by the security camera footage) that I hope that she was given a 51/50 (a 72-hour, involuntary, psychiatric hold). She is obviously a danger those around her. Her delusion may make her a danger to herself.
I was so satisfying to have her taken out in handcuffs, because I suspect she is simply an entitled B. But maybe you are right that she honestly is dangerously delusional…
As much as anyone may have hated masks, I actually was all for it, mostly because it was 90% at work at UPS the sweat sucks but it’s dusty as fuck in there 24/7. so to me it was a free dust mask every day
I love masks, since I started to use them my allergies, sinus infections cold and flu basically disappear almost completely. Also no having to endure other people bad breath and ugly faces is definitely a plus.
I live in NYS where the policy was enforced via the state so EVERYONE wore a mask. I only saw a few in the beginning who fought wearing it but it didn’t last as there were only essential stores open so if you wanted food/basic essentials or gas you wore a mask. Period. And they work.
@@MalekitGJ that had more to do with population density than anything. That many people, that crowded together, causes diseases to spread swiftly and violently, even with all precautions in place.
I worked in an ER. A teen was brought in from a pedestrian/ police car accident. The kid had a broken thumb. His mom showed up and started saying that the first thing she was going to buy from the money she was expecting to get was a “new brown sweater “. She told this to everyone she saw. It was found her kid had run into the cops car, not the other way around, so no new brown sweater.
I remember my mom and I were in a Goodwill when this guy comes rushing into the store with a clerk following him. Two clerks tell him he needs to put on a mask to which he yells, “I HAVE COPD”. My mom has COPD and trying to yell like that would absolutely send her into a coughing fit; she wore a mask. 99% of people hate masks and accompanying policies. That doesn’t stop good or calm people from either finding a store that doesn’t require them or just putting one on. Masks suck, protecting people doesn’t.
The masks don't protect anyone from the virus responsible for them unless you're wearing properly fitted N95 masks. Anything else is a waste of time. Still no excuse for causing trouble for innocent employees, but please don't give undue credit to the masks.
Copd is an umbrella term my father-in-law has it but his is chronic bronchitis so most of the time it's not a problem but any cold can turn worse. That's l like saying all diabetics need insulin pumps because others with it need one. There are multiple levels and types and COPD is way more broad of term than diabetic. Emphysema is also under the copd diagnosis and they have 4 levels of mild, moderate, severe, and very severe. I work at a place that runs state lottery machines, and the number of people that are entitled about being able to play regardless of any rules - much less wearing a mask - is nuts. Back when we had spacing requirements we had a couple that was upset we wouldn’t let them play together. Because then they’d be too close to other players.
Hunting on private property without permission is, in fact, illegal. Even if it's the sole factor making it illegal its illegal. I feel it's kind of obvious that some laws are reasonable and should be fairly obvious due to safety issues and this I will admit is one normally wouldn't think of unless you hunt. My advice to any new to private property hunters and landowners out there is to make sure you get permission, get it often, get it documented, and most importantly be safe.
Last story: I would have just driven into the parking lot of a police station, flagged down an officer and asked them to question this lady as to why she is stalking me....
As far as the 11,000 pound bike I bet that’s a nice bike. And I really love the way you had her concerned about the repairs. I seriously doubt it did, but I really really really really really hope it did teach her at least a little bit of a lesson.
@@RealengoPrimordialDemon Have you given up hope for all humanity already? My wife and I have both had Covid, and we both wore masks. Unfortunately due to previous health issues the vaccine would not be good for us. Let me make this perfectly clear I am not against vaccines. My children are vaccinated I’m vaccinated up to a point. But what really gets on my nerves are the people who think it’s violating their rights to be told to wear a mask or you can’t shop in a certain store. Nowhere in the Bill of Rights, Or the Declaration of Independence, or the emancipation proclamation, or Roe versus Wade, or Ray Ray versus the Kwik mart, does it say anything about having the right to shop at any store you want. They are private businesses! If they tell you that you can only wear your right shoe in order to come into their store they have the right to enforce that rule. Whatever your beliefs are on wearing a mask versus not wearing a mask, the store has the right to tell you to go pound sand.
I know right! There is a grocery store in my town that doesn't allow people who are wearing masks into the store and you wouldn't believe the freak outs people have.
Also, in story 5, the Karen was almost certainly a bike thief casing the event for expensive bikes to steal. I've had friends get their bike stolen at events like that, and bike theft has been a huge issue at just about every town fair/event/festival I've ever been to or volunteered at. She was probably trying (and failing) to take advantage of the confusion to walk off with OP's bike before he knew what had happened.

This woman actually followed someone home with hopes of snatching a custom tote bag? Haven't you ever heard of buying something online? What the hell is wrong with you?!
But, why should she have to pay for a tote bag if she can find it on line? Surely you realize that she is entitled to have whatever she wants regardless of who it belongs to. She wants it so she should have it, case closed.
Regarding mask story. I was against masks. I had the view that keeping distance, shopping at slower hours, avoiding people was alot better than a mask. Esp since 90% of the people I did see using masks was using them wrong. But all those things do not excuse that karens behaviour. If the store has mask on policy, you follow it. Or go to another store.
My thought was this; Karen: You'll tell me where to get a washing machine, or you'll get out of my way. Security: You can get a washing machine elsewhere because you're clearly not going to be allowed inside here.
The only way to process story #2 is to look at it from a Karen's point of view. A true Karen, if caught in rain, hail, ect... would tell any lie necessary to get out of the rain, so she would naturally assume that that's what everybody else would do as well.

Actually night hunting happens legally quite often, it just depends on what and how you are hunting. Deer are hunted early evening or morning NOT at night nor with illegal traps. Good luck hunting squirrel at night as they go to bed at sunset.
I am at high risk from covid because I have existing lung damage. So even when I am not compelled to wear a mask, I still wear one anyway (a full KN95 medical grade mask). I saw people wearing masks all the time when I was stationed in Japan. Their culture stresses the individual’s obligations to their community, which includes keeping your germs to yourself. If you catch a cold, you wear a mask so you don’t spread your cold to everyone else. If our culture cared about other people this way, we would have far fewer Karens ruining peoples’ days. Don’t be a Richard.
Agreed! I would see anime and J-dramas from Japan with people wearing masks when sick growing up and wishing we did that here. I'm still wearing my masks even now - I'm fed up with getting sick all the time and since I started wearing them I haven't gotten sick.
@@NotAFanOfHandles It’s amazing how that works so well. I don’t care what other people think when it comes to my health, so I will wear a mask even if covid goes away (which I doubt). One of my kids is a nurse at my city’s best hospital. They told me this morning that they are definitely seeing an uptick in covid cases. They had several people come to the ER from a local nursing home. These homes are where covid hits hardest because the population in them is frail and the number of visitors is high. We definitely have at least a small wave of infections going. Probably a new variant, but that’s just me guessing. Stay safe, friend.
I saw someone who screamed about how masks were against God's law. My friend and I are also severely immunocompromised. I tried to be nice to people who refused to wear masks my friend however was not as polite. Every time we went to the store we spent 7 days in self-isolation. for my friend, it was her heart and I was always trying to make sure both of us were safe.
Not really sure how they would be against "god's law" but I am sure it was some bs they found in the internet and never investigated it past that. Me I would have asked which "god" there quite a few concepts of gods. This is much like all the people claiming "HIPAA" violations of non covered entities like grocery stores. It has amazed me how surgical type masks have been used for dropplet isolation infection control successfully for over a century, but suddenly in the last 2 years like magic they don't work because...internet idots I guess. I am in a similar boat as you being immune compromised and working in critical care transport had to be very careful myself. I can be hard to tamp down my frustrations with the idiotic actions and excuses surrounding masks.
It’s honestly shameful how people with make up stories to support their refusal to slightly (and temporarily) inconvenience themselves to prevent the spread of an airborne communicable disease during a global pandemic. It’s almost like asking people to care, even a tiny bit, about anyone other than themselves is anathema. Jesus said to love they neighbor as thyself. These anti maskers falsely quoting God’s law should remember that. I hope you and your friend are and remain safe! 💕
That's ridiculous. But at the same time, when most people are vaxxed, why should they have to keep wearing masks that (in my case) made me sicker wearing? As in normally I'm sick around twice a year, fall and a week in Jan/Feb. During mask mandates it was every couple of months. I'm no expert, but I don't doubt it was keeping germs trapped to my face nonstop and my immune system being weakened by not actively fighting all the time (like how you lose muscles when you don't work out). So while I do completely understand your medical situation, how is it then okay to force me (who gets sick) to risk my own health? Especially now that we have vaccines and loads of ppe and a culture of masking when sick, why not return that responsibility to the individual? You can wear your masks that help you feel and stay safe, I can be a responsible member of society and cover any coughs and sanitize what I touch so I don't get as sick? There will always be jerk wads in any crowd, but demanding the bulk of society "bubble wrap" to keep you safe...? That's not fair to everyone strong enough to participate, and I say that as someone with bad knees and a few other conditions.

I've had less of an issue with seasonal allergies, and overly perfumed people don't bother me quite so much - I, too, get bad migraines. I honestly wish I had started wearing them years ago, but it seems like the only places where you wouldn't get those weird/suspicious looks for it would've been in places like Japan or Korea.
@@NotAFanOfHandles yeah, I'm hoping masks when you're sick, but can't avoid going out, become the norm. Because I'm gonna keep wearing mine, even once Covid is in the past. I loved the mask policy. I work with a lot of elderly patrons at my library. Both them and me went like 2 years without getting so much as the sniffles.
That last story gave me chills. That is creepy af. I would be scared to death! But yeah, I'd probably remember to drive to the police station. I definitely wouldn't head home.
I had a bike stolen once. I was 10 and the thief was an idiot. I had ridden to the local police station but didn’t own a chain at that time. I park the bike in the police lot (where the squad cars park) figuring it would be safe. After all, who would be stupid enough to steal from there? After exiting the station, I noticed my bike gone. I had to go right back inside to report it stolen. Less than a week later, my bike had been found thanks to having the serial number and a detailed description of the bike including bits of minor damage. The idiot thief was found riding it around completely unmodified. Didn’t repaint it to disguise it or anything. It was a pretty expensive bike (relatively speaking), an 18-speed Huffy Mt.Storm mountain bike, so the guy got charged with Grand Larceny. I got my bike back, the guy got jail time, and for days there was talk in the family about the moron who stole from the police station.
I had a bike stolen once and I was happy about it. I had it locked up in my apartment building's bike cage and I'd been getting ready to move. I hadn't really been using the bike nearly enough for it to be worth keeping so I'd been planning on selling it and buying a cheaper one. When I first got it I got a great deal on it because the manufacturer was merging into another one and this was one of the last Gary Fisher bikes they had in the shop, so they sold it to me for their cost. I used it for about 5 years before it was stolen, and then when it was stolen I was able to file a claim with my renter's insurance. After paying the deductible and them factoring in the 5 years of use, I got about $100 more than I'd originally spent on the bike originally. There was absolutely no way that me selling the bike would've come close to that. It was legitimately stolen and I wasn't trying to get it stolen. The bike lock was right next to where I'd parked my bike with a nice cut taken out of it. I'd been parking my bike in that same spot using the same lock for a few years and never had an issue.

@@hollyhartwick3832 I do have a running joke in my family that the less security you have with something the less likely it is to be stolen. There were plenty of times where I'd leave my bike outside a store or restaurant unlocked and it was never stolen but locked up in a bike cage it was. I keep my car doors unlocked because I don't keep anything of value inside and we had people walking down my street once breaking everyone's windows to see if there was anything of value inside. A friend of mine sent me a clip from an episode of the Simpsons where Homer is trying to get rid of a trampoline and failing, and then Bart shows him the trick. He attaches a bike lock to it and he and Homer turn around and count to 3, turn back and see Snake (the town criminal) cutting the bike lock. He says, "maybe 5 seconds" and they turn back around for a couple more seconds and then it's gone. (Not the exact quote, this is from memory and it was awhile ago).

Smallish town, some tourism but generally peaceful, especially in ‘87 when this happened. If anything, you’d expect maybe a tourist would be the one with so little respect for the property of locals, but no. Same. I am still masking and the last two times I've been out I've been the only person wearing one, but case numbers are still very high in my area and I don't want to end up with long covid. It's depressing to see most people pretending as if the pandemic is over and talk about mask wearing in the past tense.
@@jennibennett9724 Yup. Long Covid is what worries me too. I'm vaxed and boosted so I'm not too worried about the initial illness (it would still suck), but the after effects? No thank you.
@@jennibennett9724 While you're perfectly within your rights to wear one if it makes you feel better, the simple facts of the science are that it never made a difference. The nature of the virus is such that a mask will not help you. It NEVER helps the wearer; it is ALWAYS about keeping those who are sick from breathing directly into the faces of those who are not. In the case of Covid-19, however, the nature of the virus is such that it doesn't spread in a way that a mask will protect you. What we know of its airborne transmission is such that it is not stopped by masks unless you basically have your own filtered air supply. So again, while you're free to wear a mask if it makes you feel better, people not doing so are actually following the science, because wearing one will not help you one iota. And statistically, forcing others to wear them doesn't reduce incidents of Covid-19, either, if you look at the adjusted-for-season data regarding mask-wearing vs. non-mask-wearing States. (If you do NOT adjust for season, then in some seasons you could conclude that wearing masks increases Covid-19 infection rates, which is probably not the goal.)
I've been around a lot of years. Never once have I ever heard you could "trap" deer. There are bow, antique weapons, and riffle seasons. But no "trapping" season.
The only issue with the mask mandates I’m guessing is the fact you had to buy them from the CS desk. We literally gave them out for free, even when management in their infinite wisdom kept taking them away from me, who was at the fucking door greeting customers when they enter and kept taking hidden in the area with the supervisor.

Most offices have dress codes, and skirts/dresses as short as you've suggested are typically prohibited. As a person who despises wearing dresses or skirts, I always end up wearing the same slacks or jeans as the men I worked with. Several jobs I had didn't even allow for skirts because we were expected to go up tall ladders at a moment's notice so the best you could do was shorts in summer but only if they were knee-length. Some men have worn kilts, skirts or skorts because it didn't break the dress code. Story 4: We live in a society where a piece of cloth is making people go off like crazy. Somehow, said piece of cloth is being perceived as a violations of rights and stuff like that. Maturity is pretty mixed.
Funny that.. We forget just how many things are 'just a piece of cloth', that people have been & are forced to wear. The thing often ends up being about control and compliance. Hell, I'm 100% with 'give people space', and generally don't be a douche bag, but you know the masks did near nothing and it gets even dumber & funnier the more you think about a restaurant, or place where you'd sit down.. as if your breath can't escape & you have perfect discipline about touching your face & other things. I mean we could make some pretty solid arguments about making women wear dresses in public because of fundamentally deep religious beliefs... but I suppose, seeing someone 10+feet away from you without a face covering is ultra dangerous. The irony of it is there were many a time where someone was literally in a 2 piece bathing suit, with the barest of covering just to be legal... and Good god if you didn't have that face covering you where just the monster, but feel free to expose all your other skin, regardless of any condition you may or may not have that can conduct longer lasting transmissions (off of the human body).
I don’t think the mask is what’s perceived as a violation of rights. That’s a pretty shallow view of the situation. The truth of the situation is that masks do about as much to prevent Covid as pulling your shirt over your nose helps block a fart. Even the cdc admits that. The violation of rights is more to the point that the people who were appointed to protect us lied to the country and made billions of dollars off of lies about a virus that they engineered. Getting back to the original point about masks. Yes it is true that private businesses have the right to say you can’t shop there without a mask. However we have the right to shop at their competitors who don’t require a mask. That’s voting with your wallet
With the fact that these flimsy cloth masks provide NO protection vs. viruses, and actually harbor germs, if a business has set a policy of wearing masks I will comply and wear it, chuckling quietly at the institutionalized idiocy. Best to play by the rules.
I know most look at it as a piece of cloth, but it took a while for me to find one I could work in with out having a panic attack. What a lot of people forget is everyone is different and some of us actually have claustrophobia. Now I am not saying that she was justified just wish people would not trivializing the mask as just a piece of cloth.
I walked into my local store a couple of times and only realised when I was in the store and dropped my basket nearer a worker with my hand over my mouth saying sorry, sorry and making the worker laugh. She said it was the opposite to what usually happens in store with massless people.
The second story really needs thought. If OP had said, “Excuse me ladies, I live here, would you like to come out of the weather properly to wait?” Would the result have been different?
People who Refused to Wear Masks during the Covid Epidemic should have stayed home and bought the items they needed online . That way they didn't have to ANNOY the rest of us or put us at risk.
Eventhough people were wearing masks below their noses and constantly touching it and not staying 6 feet apart or the fact that cloth masks had limited protection compared to other masks. You're a joke.

I did that. Someone was following me home from the bar one night, fortunately with my friend. I noticed him and instead of taking my exit off the freeway, I took the next one and drove to the police station. I pulled in and then the guy noticed that it was a police station. He drove passed and had to turn around to get out of the newly developed area.
I was thinking that too
Amen, what an excellent course of action.
Do this but also have dash cams and make 4 right turns (going in a complete circle) if you can so you can prove you were being followed

This must have been terrifying 🥺
We're you able to get any details of the car or did the shop's security camera pick up the licence plate number?
Story 4: Any story that ends with a Karen handcuffed and in the back of a police cruiser has a happy ending.
The only Stories that are better than ones ending with a Karen in Cuffs are the ones that ended with a Karen in a coffin...
Unfortunately, I have yet to find one of those...
Darn It!!!

Normally I would agree but all that mask crap was bullshit. Never kept anyone "safe" from the virus.
Cops *refuse* to do anything about stalkers
Even better if they get OC sprayed or tazed.
It should have been Animal Control, as K was obviously rabid!
Story six.... When being followed, best thing is to drive to the nearest police station. If the stalker stays, get the attention of a cop, tell him/her about the stalker.
Yeah, that was exactly what I was thinking. They would have checked the security cameras at the store and had more than enough prove to charge her.
If you can find a busy gas station or restaurant, it's even better, because not all police stations are full of cops during shifts. But run into a Sheetz, you have at least 3-4 people with you. Drive up to McDonald's and tell the speaker you'd like someone to escorts you inside because of a stalker.
If a Karen is in the way:
Step 1. Ask them to move.
Step 2. TELL them to move.
Step 3. MAKE them move.
"Them"? 🤨
last story: That stalker Karen was cray cray. I'm glad op made it home safe n sound.
I would have driven to the police station and filed a complaint against her.
I'd have called the cops to assure I got home safe and that she wouldn't follow me
Yes, def serial killer material there. We could make a killer ghost movie about this and call it “Phantom of the Prada”
I was wondering the same. I mean what was her plan? Seemed like she was ready to murder her. 😯
Turn on your hands free and call the cops before you pull into the station...
This behaviour is NOT ok
Regarding Story #5: The level if that Karen's delusion was so high (sticking to her story even after being contradicted by the security camera footage) that I hope that she was given a 51/50 (a 72-hour, involuntary, psychiatric hold). She is obviously a danger those around her. Her delusion may make her a danger to herself.
I was so satisfying to have her taken out in handcuffs, because I suspect she is simply an entitled B. But maybe you are right that she honestly is dangerously delusional…

@@jonmendelson1104 - Mysteries of the universe. Sometimes bad things can turn unexpected benefits. Glad it worked out for you. :) I will say, my dad bought me a bike cable with built-in combo lock not long after my bike was returned. Where I lived when I was little didn’t see a lot of this kind of thing and we didn’t see much need until that incident. This did teach me the value of writing down serial numbers, though.
@@jonmendelson1104 - Sounds about right. I rode to the library at least once or twice a week, pre-lock, and parked the bike right out front without incident. Did the same at the grocer on occasion. Smallish town, some tourism but generally peaceful, especially in ‘87 when this happened.

I don't think anyone liked the whole mask policy. Most of us just put up with it anyone because it was basically effortless.

After all, they make sure you don't have anything they can catch from you and you want to be sure they can breath well while cutting you open and messing with your body, right?
No, I get it it. There's a difference between not liking the mask thing just out and about, you know, wanting everything going back to normal, and medical/veterinary staff. Honestly, I like wearing the masks - I haven't gotten sick since I started wearing them when I leave the house.
Or perhaps try bringing up the dress code with someone who can change it to make it more equitable (though you may not like how they change it.)
That said, as women still can't go topless the way men can, yes, the "no shirt" rule _does_ make it fair. It's _you_ deciding you don't want to wear short shorts stopping you from going out in them, not any rules.

Here in Germany some situations still require a mask (public transport is one of them...) That's why I always choose the fastest way of pt. Some people still don't want to wear masks because "they can't breathe" (around 30 and heavy smokers are the favourite) - once on a train federal police got on and picked 3 guys up to leave the train (all of them were drinking lots of beer and they didn't have masks... and oh yeah - they also didn't have a valid ticket so it's an extra 60€ each for trainrides without tickets)

If you think someone is following you, drive to the local police station. Call the non emergency number on the way.
Story 4: We live in a society where a piece of cloth is making people go off like crazy. Somehow, said piece of cloth is being perceived as a violations of rights and stuff like that.
Maturity is pretty mixed.
The two most important factors in how fast a pandemic spreads.
1. How dense the population is.
2. How dense the population is.
In the last story she should have told the lady that she could probably order one of those totes online.
Yay another upload! And it's now officially a good evening!
I walked into my local store a couple of times and only realised when I was in the store and dropped my basket nearer a worker with my hand over my mouth saying sorry, sorry and making the worker laugh. She said it was the opposite to what usually happens in store with massless people.
I like/liked stores that provide free masks for those who forget
The second story really needs thought. If OP had said, “Excuse me ladies, I live here, would you like to come out of the weather properly to wait?” Would the result have been different?
People who Refused to Wear Masks during the Covid Epidemic should have stayed home and bought the items they needed online . That way they didn't have to ANNOY the rest of us or put us at risk.
Eventhough people were wearing masks below their noses and constantly touching it and not staying 6 feet apart or the fact that cloth masks had limited protection compared to other masks. You're a joke.
