AMAZING place.. My Favorite MGM Property.. Not really a "stay well" fan tho.. I was on the 51st floor one time. Guess that means it was someone's condo they let the hotel use?
I have stayed all over the strip. The last time I was in Vegas this year was at the Vdara. I stayed in a panoramic suite. Live in Florida and come to Vegas every year 2-3 times for the past dozen years. This was the best suite I have ever had anytime I have been to Vegas. The suite had wrap around floor to ceiling windows. Full kitchen, living room, seperate bedroom, glass steam shower, jacuzzi tub, walk in closet, washer and dryer. Was so nice to be able to wash all my clothes at the end of my 7 night trip. So when I got home I just put my clothes away that didn't require dry cleaning. The room service was amazing every time we ordered, no matter what time of day. Love getting off the elevator and not being smacked in the face with cigarette smoke. The lobby bar was great. It's a 2 min stroll to get to the Aria casino. This is my favorite hotel on the strip. Have stayed at all of the luxury hotels including Aria. I will only stay here moving forward. If you want to treat yourself, get a panoramic suite at the Vdara it won't let you down. It's the best bang for your buck at any luxury property on the strip.
Absolutely agree with you. Except I only pack about 4-5 days worth of stuff and do laundry. So easy to get anywhere from here. Especially City Center and Bellagio. Always quiet here too.
I was there last month for 5 days for the MGM Holiday Gift Shoppe promotion. I did not need to take as much clothes because of the washer and dryer. Property was quieter than at the connecting MGM hotels.
if and when I return to Vegas, I'll keep Vdara at the top of my hotel list! The upscale look everywhere with the in-room kitchenette, plus the not too isolated location sold it for me. Thanks!
I have just booked a stay at the Vdara for May, didn’t quite get the deal you did but certainly very happy. I really like how you give props to the members of staff you have positive interactions with, it reminds me that sometimes, the staff are what elevate the experience, wherever you stay.
You 100% hit the nail on the head with this property. I believe it’s the only non-smoking property on the strip. It’s also quiet. Between Fall 2015 and December 2019, I spent just over 1.5y at this property for work travel, about 3m per year. Nearly always in the Corner Executive Suite. Land, check in, go to Whole Foods and stock up on groceries. That suite has even more room. Full size fridge, plus, stacked washer and dryer. Enabled me to travel with less. Housekeeping will bring you detergent, dish soap, sponges, plates and silverware. Keep everything clean and put it away and they wont take it. Leave it out (dirty)and it goes. Great place to decompress after a long day. Really appreciate your videos.
We booked Airbnb there on the 52nd floor. No resort fees and free valet. Stayed for a week. It was great. Easily accessible to Aria, Cosmo, and Bellagio like you said. Great place to stay! And it was our first time in Vegas! Would recommend!
We love staying at the Vdara. We don't do any real cooking, but love having a place to heat up and enjoy heating up our leftovers. It feels like a peaceful oasis away from the rest of the strip, but yet so close and quite central to everything. We stayed in a suite that had a washer/dryer and loved using that our last night.
I watch every new video from Jacob for at least the past 2 years. This is one of the best hotel reviews from him and any other Vegas TH-camr as he really gives the positive and negatives, even with subtle nuances and recovery options (like his spa credits). Happens to also be of a much less reviewed hotel so even more helpful. Really appreciate his opinions and high quality of presentation in this one. Happy travels to you all!
This was a great video on staying at Vdara. I watched another TH-camrs video on the Vdara and they really only showed the room. Nothing much else. Thanks for the video.
Vdara has been one of my go-to choices when in Las Vegas. The larger suite rooms (such as City Corner and Executive) are, of course, larger (around 800 sf), but also offer an in-room washer/dryer - that is very cool. Another thing I love is the voice in the elevator that announces the floor. When you get to the lobby, the female voice says "Lobby" in the sexiest way I've ever heard. But Vdara is also starting to show its age and may be due for some room renovations. As you noted, wooden surfaces are often scratched or chipped. In my last couple of stays, the gooseneck LED lamps on the bed headboard were either totally inoperable or were literally hanging by their cables. And several other light fixtures in the room were not working - either needing new bulbs or the switches were broken. I mentioned these issues to housekeeping but they were never fixed. So when I checked out, I mentioned it to the agent at the desk and they comped a bit off the room price. Not much, but it was a nice gesture. Another issue with Vdara is that the all-glass tower focuses sunlight onto pool patrons like a magnifying lens. This was not just hot, it was a real safety problem. Vdara acknowledged this and has since added sun shades to resolve the issue (but the basic architecture will always be the problem). Bottom-line is that Vdara is still the best choice for a mid-Strip hotel and, for me, without the crowded lobby since it doesn't have its own casino. With the new skywalk connection to the Cosmo, access to that, the Bellagio, Ariam and even Caesers is relatively easy for dining and gaming options. Highly recommended.
One of my favorite places to stay while there! Also to mention that the Business Suites are more apartment-like with a bigger kitchen, full length fridge, and as an added bonus- A washer & dryer in room!
Stayed there november 6th thru 11th 2024 on the 55th floor and what a view of the Sphere and Bellagio at night , Very nice hotel and staff and will be back , Good review and video !
Vdara is great. I'm MLife Gold and got a comped suite on the top floor last trip. Its so convenient staying between Aria, Cosmo, and Bellagio. I don't even have to walk on the strip if I care not to.
I do LOVE Vdara as well! Such a nice, secluded property. I think a lot of families stay here because it’s very homey, no casino and non smoking! I’ve only had the pleasure of staying there during one trip, but I would absolutely do it again! It is a little back from the strip, so it’s still a nice walk to get anywhere on foot. But worth the luxury 😊
Didn't see any price even CLOSE to $110 when I just looked. Closest was $250 per night during the week for the same room. Disappointing. Getting super sick of shitty hotels because they're the only ones who are still reasonable.
I love going to the spas in vegas, and many of them do have relaxation/meditation rooms. My new thing is to book the spa day after checkout on my last day when I have a flight late at night, mostly because I can go and sleep in the spa whereas they won't let you sleep in the casino!
I've stayed at Vdara twice in the past year and it is hard to beat the location and rooms. My wife and I spent a few days in June and the pool was great. We're not big gamblers, so nice rooms and a nice pool with a great center Strip location are hard to beat. The walkway to Bellagio and Cosmo are a game changer for this property making it much more accessible to Strip properties. And it's a great location if you are headed to T-Mobile for an event. Loved the review and second everything you stated about the property.
MGM Member pro tip if you are staying at the Vdara and don't want to Valet park or shlep all the way from the Aria (It's literally on the other side of the Aria so it's a long walk). Pearl members and higher can park at any MGM Property for free and the Cosmo Parking is WAY closer. Just park there if you are staying at the Vdara. once I figured that out it was much more convenient.
I was going to say this also. Did this last time we stayed a Vdara… WAY more convenient. We dropped our bags off at Vdara then went back down to the Cosmo parking garage, when we got to our room they brought our bags up to our room.
Great Video on Vdara! My husband and I come to Vegas twice a year and we only stay at the Vdara. The rooms feels very comfy and we always get the Corner Suites with beautiful views.
Forced tipping, America’s way to build business without paying salaries. 🤦🏻♂️. Expensive places and food (low quality in many cases) but wages are passed on to the customer. Can’t understand how people can agree to this. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
I don't understand why people are so upset with this. If there was no tipping, then things would cost more. At least this way we have some control over how much we pay. The business does not pay any wages - the customer pays 100% of wages in either situation.
That’s why in general service sucks in Europe and elsewhere because they don’t give a crap because they are being paid regardless of how they treat you !!
I have stayed at Vdara several times and had great experiences each time. I even got a super nice free upgrade to a top floor 1 bedroom suite on one of my visits. I really like their panoramic suites.
I thought of staying there, but husband likes a casino right downstairs lol. Great for long stays, but honestly I’m not really gonna cook for 4/5 nights. We now being a coffee pot. No waiting in lines at 7 a.m lol
If you upgrade to a city corner or panoramic suite (not usually a big coat) you get a full size refrigerator/freezer and a washer and dryer!!!! Really helps me not weigh down my luggage with a crap ton of workout gear!
Just went to Vegas last weekend for Anyma at The Sphere and stayed at Polo Towers and enjoyed the full size kitchen and large bathroom then having Target basically just downstairs
One big reason I normally stay at Vdara is they are very dog friendly. If you walk out the front past the valet area, there is a pretty nice dog park. They have some benches in there for you to sit on while the dogs are able to play. I think this is a big benefit you missed in regards to this hotel.
I haven't been to Las Vegas since I was a teenager with my parents and I am going next Monday with my partner to celebrate our engagement (now that I am almost 37 haha)! Vdara was recommended and I have been watching your videos for a while and I am stoked you did one on this hotel! Thanks for the help!
That’s funny, I literally had the same story. Went as a teenager with parents and last month was my first Vegas trip as an adult (I’m 38 🫣😂). Vdara is a great choice. We had a studio parlor room on the 30th floor. Going back in February for a concert.
Thanks Jacob, nice review. I have been looking at off-strip for this year. While I get addicted to the ding! ding! ding! of the casino and the crowds. This place looks like I can "prepare" myself for the casinos. I also like your seamless plug for the real estate biz.
I love the executive suite and get it comped most of the time. So great to go home with clean clothes. I love having a washer and dryer. Vdara is such a great location with all the walkways to other casinos.
Nice review. Glad you pay your way because when these TH-cam reviewers start accepting free stuff, it really changes their content to infomercials. It become pretty obvious. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Jacob, 1st place me and the Mrs stayed in Vegas was Vdara. Nice place. I think I heard you took the plunge and are licensed ? If so congrats ! And happy new year !
Ever since I've stayed at Vdara, I almost stay here exclusively as long as they provide good offers for Vdara. The quality is just so much better, some suites have full kitchens/fridges/stove/microwave. And suites also have washer/dryers!
Hmmmm, I might have to consider this place next time. I like the idea of having to go out for your fun, and then coming back to a quote non-party type resort 🙂
I stayed here in June 2023 ina suite just like the one you stayed in. Fantastic property, nicely isolated from the casinos, great place to chill out and have some space for yourself. Only bad thing was the parking, and I hoofed it from the Aria parking lot to the Vdara in the summertime… and it was a workout! Other than that, it really is as stellar as Jacob makes it out to be.
What up Jacob, I have a cousin, who stayed at Vdara. He told me he loved it staying there. He said it was very clean. I usually stay at MGM Grand or Planet Hollywood. Maybe I will stay next time at Vdara on my next trip. I was thinking of buying a home out there for vacation. I live in Los Angeles; I am deciding to sell my condo here that I am renting out now. Thanks for the info. Happy New Year!!
We are staying here for the 1st time in march. This will be our 36th visit to vegas from the UK. Please can you tell me about the housekeeping arrangements. Thanks for a great video.
The quality of the rooms for the price cant be beaten especially if you book thru airbnb. Usually theres no resort fees and free valet. This is helpful since Vdara doesnt have its own parking so youd have to park on the other side of Aria. Also if you plan to Uber just walk to the fron entrance, no half mile trek to get tona pickup
I like the Aria and have stayed there many times. Prior to the MGM acquisition of the Cosmo, we would get offers for free nights with no resort fees at the Cosmo. We would double book so if we were too tipsy to walk back from the Cosmo to the Aria, we could just go up to the extra room. Also, if we stayed at the Aria but had breakfast at the Cosmo at the Wicked Spoon and needed to go to the bathroom, we could leave the table, go to the room, and then return to the restaurant. Sorry if it sounds gross, but late night heavy drinking in Vegas will mess with you. However, given the cost of the Wicked Spoon now, you want to get the most bang for your buck without having to use the restaurant facilities. Also, the Aria had hidden free coffee and snack areas for customers.
10:53 LOL AT MGM prices. You can get a massage at Encore spa for $200 and it’s waaaaaaaay nicer. MGM needs to get ahold of themselves, their greed is out of control.
I stayed at the Vdara. The only issue that I had was that when I arrived, the valet told me that there was only valet parking. They did not disclose that there was parking over at the Aria. I am a Marriott Titanium member, so at check out, they did remove the charge for the valet. I don’t mind paying for what use. But I don;t like it when they don’t disclose options.
Yes! Cool hotel! If u wanna stay center strip and save a little bit of money, it's a no-brainer. Aria is literally a couple of minute walk away, tram is nice, too. And you didn't mention all the cool dogs you will see there, because it is pet-friendly!
I cant fathom doing online check in particularly in a city like Vegas where a courteous attitude and a 20 spot or 50 on a busy weekend could completely change your weekend
Stayed at vdara a couple years ago because I was comped. Very nice hotel but I haven’t been comped there since. Park mgm is my favorite comped room because it’s available most nights and close to everything
Your stay is July 2024….Jaycation just posted his vdara review dec2024, the pool was closed. Nonetheless excellent informative review and entertaining. Big fan of your attention to detail and breakdown. Keep it up.

Only bad thing was the parking, and I hoofed it from the Aria parking lot to the Vdara in the summertime… and it was a workout! Other than that, it really is as stellar as Jacob makes it out to be.
Thanks Jacob, excellent review
Glad you liked it!
Fontanebleau Spa has two very cool relaxation rooms with a star ceiling.
The Aria/Vdara/Cosmo area is definitely the high class part of the Strip! Maybe one day I’ll stay there.
would you be able to make an updated fast track to gold video?
i followed your last tieer match video and fell in love with the benefits
thanks jacob!
Great place on strip, not a problem walking over to Aria if you want a casino & other stuff!
Nice quiet place that smells good
Beautiful view
Loved the a cappella at the end. 😊
Great info
Glad it helps!
i been hearing good stuff about this hotel eveytime i pass it i want to give it a go foe 5 days because of the kitchen they give you
Thanks Jacob! Great videos as always! What was the BIG mistake? I’ve stayed at Vdara and enjoyed my stay. ❤👊👍
Whole lotta beefcake in this video!! (I am not complaining.) Great video, Jacob.
We are staying here for the 1st time in march. This will be our 36th visit to vegas from the UK. Please can you tell me about the housekeeping arrangements. Thanks for a great video.
Very good option for when possible casinos near by are filled up
The quality of the rooms for the price cant be beaten especially if you book thru airbnb. Usually theres no resort fees and free valet. This is helpful since Vdara doesnt have its own parking so youd have to park on the other side of Aria. Also if you plan to Uber just walk to the fron entrance, no half mile trek to get tona pickup
8:05 lol little kid- well played. 👋
I wonder if Jacob considers how being recognizable at check-in ever gets him perks?
We're MGM gold and have stayed at Vdara at least 20 times. Ever since our first time here, we've never stayed anywhere else
This looks like a real hidden gem. Nice rooms and no casino..I like it.
Yep yep!
2 days before Christmas 2 weeks back I got a completely 🆓 suite at Caesar’s normally $1.5k a night. One of best trips/experiences I had 🙏🏽
10:53 LOL AT MGM prices. You can get a massage at Encore spa for $200 and it’s waaaaaaaay nicer. MGM needs to get ahold of themselves, their greed is out of control.
Really like the Vdara but the last room I was in (City Corner Suite) had some battle scars. Thinking that the rooms are due for a refresh.
You got an upgrade. The room is a parlor room, one step up from a studio. Parlor is what I stay in.
And you didn't mention all the cool dogs you will see there, because it is pet-friendly!
your videos are great and honest !!!!!!
Vdara and Aria are one of my favorite casinos in Vegas.
We stayed in same suite type in 2021 loved it
I cant fathom doing online check in particularly in a city like Vegas where a courteous attitude and a 20 spot or 50 on a busy weekend could completely change your weekend
Stayed at vdara a couple years ago because I was comped. Very nice hotel but I haven’t been comped there since. Park mgm is my favorite comped room because it’s available most nights and close to everything
Vdara was my favorite stay so far.
That room is great.
My friend is one of the CS managers there! Not too shabby review!
Your stay is July 2024….Jaycation just posted his vdara review dec2024, the pool was closed.
Nonetheless excellent informative review and entertaining.
Big fan of your attention to detail and breakdown.
Keep it up.
Love your videos man, keep them coming.
btw, any idea how to acquire gold status for 2025?
Just finished the Jackpot Secrets Unveiled ebook by Emory Dainwood this book is packed with casino hacks Highly recommend
Sold. This sounds perfect for me if the price is competitive.
