Great foundational recipe! I made them today. I lightly roasted all the nuts and soaked dates n figs in warm water ahead of time. Also, I used some coconut oil to make the balls so that they hold good shape and last longer. Thank you Anastasia❤️

I really appreciate that you teach customizable combinations! I just wanted to confirm dried prunes are also ok? Are the nuts and seeds you use raw or roasted or doesn’t it really matter?

Dried prunes are fine if you like them. You can use raw or roasted nuts. I tend to use raw, but roasted also work. Enjoy your creating in the kitchen Lily.

I bought a bunch of nuts and seeds to make energy bars, but they don’t hold shape well, I think these balls will be much better.
Do they dry out, or do you eat them moist?
How long do they stay good for?
Have you tried baking them afterward for toasted flavor?
