I’m Indonesian and I’ve been a fan of artistic gymnastics since I found out about Simone Biles back in 2019. I’m so proud of Rifda and Coach Eva for making it to the Paris Olympics. It’s very unlikely for her to medal at any event, but that doesn’t matter. Rifda just needs to give the performance of her life and she will bring more attention and support to Indonesian gymnastics.

Mind you Artistic Gymnastics is one of the Grade A Olympic sports in popularity. Of course, her chances to medal are unlikely, not to mention she'll only be able to compete in all-around, but being qualified for the event itself is already a huge deal on its own.
