Well done Suni! You came 3rd on the first day of Trials with a 56.025 having big mistakes, didn't connect the bars, almost fell in beam... If you show your full difficulty on Sunday, you will be N.2 without any problem and you can even reach a score of 58. Good luck Suni, WE BELIEVE IN YOU AND WE SUPPORT YOU.
@@erinm9445 i think she lost nearly .8 on bars too, i think she might've hit her foot on one of the bar elements and that was .5 off on her e on bars (i may be wrong), and the connections missed too
@@_youssef1989 Yes, she lost 0.6 on bars, 0.5 for the foot tap, and a missed connection that cost 0.1 in CV. She does want to eventually connect the Bjardwaj to the VL, which would give her another 0.2 in CV beyond that, but I don't think she was intending that routine last night, makes more sense to play it safe for trials.

These tests are the most difficult and stressful. If she manages to overcome this, then she has a month to prepare for the Olympics and she will be much better in Paris. Praying to see Suni on the team and in the AA finals of the games.
With shilese and skye out (which is super sad and i wish them a speedy recovery) suni will make the team for sure. before the trials she was most likely on the team but now they need her bars and beam scores so much!

For context her best friend went down right before her vault so I think it kind of affected her whole night…so for her still to be top 3AA is amazing

58 might be a stretch, but she can definitely go 57.5 if she hits! She basically had the equivalent of a 0.5 error on three events.
