"They didn't even say her name yo, THEY DIDN'T EVEN SAY HER NAME"
That always makes me tear up.

Still gives me the chills after so many years... The song... This subtile fourth wall break from poussey at the end

Poussey looking straight into the camera made me ugly cry. Like she’s saying to the audience “I’m okay, don’t worry” 😭

P may have been one of the most depressed people in this show. Seeing her smile and look in the camera at the end was not only chilling but it also invoked some happiness from her because just like her feeling free and liberated in that moment she finally could Rest In Peace Free despite the horrible conditions she was murdered in.

very powerful indeed. she looked into our souls and said "this shit isnt just in the show". think about her story, arrested for weed possession, and died in prison. shit like this happens all the day and i hate to say it but yes people of color and minorities are victim of being discriminated especially when it comes to drugs. Minority Lives and Black Lives matter

Swear to God I was just walking around my living room with my hands on my head going “WHAT??? WHAT???? WHAT???” When I saw this for the first time.

Can we talk about the quick actions of Maritza saving them all? No hesitation, saw Humphrey had a gun and went for him.

That ending scene is so powerful. It’s like Poussey spirit is watching the women take over the prison In her honor

I cry at this scene every time, esp the end. When I first saw this, I honestly thought the last part with Poussey looking at the skyline was a flashback to that time in her life. Then I realized this is her soul looking over them; they say in your afterlife, how you "look" is in the happiest time of your life and/or young. This shows she's at her happiest

I swear!! This season came out when i was in 8th grade and poussey’s scene was so electrifying beautiful. The music, her looking at the camera… truly amazing work . So sad this show ended

Tochi Chikwendu Attica was a real life prison protest for the unsanitary conditions the make prisoners were facing

Lmao fun fact: I read a book about the Attica Prison Riot for a class assignment. I wrote a review about it last week and got a 100. That just reminded me of this scene. 😂
It’s called Blood In The Water and was written by Heather Ann Thompson. It’s a great read! Highly recommend. 👍

Caputo really took a shit on Poussay in this scene. This is the only scene in the show where I actually hate him.

I’m just so mad they butchered this show with its following seasons. The last season of oitnb has got to be some of the worst television of all time.

Season 5 was a gem as were the the first 4
Season 6 was likeable for me despite its flaws
Season 7 is good only for me when the focus is on Litchfield
      And Caputo and Figeroa
      And Piper being free.
The ice immigration part is just not for me.
Especially since the plot was more focused on that, than on Litchfield

I wouldn't say that. GOT ending was butchered, however OITNB kind of had a back and forth there. S5 was interesting, though a bit long at times, S6 was where the quality took a dive but S7 came back at full force. I truly think OITNB stayed a pretty good show through its course. HOWEVER no season was as good as S4, S4 was just peak OITNB
