I like the way the actors always talk as if they ARE their characters, as if they're really in prison and they experience everything as part as their own lives
I am sad about the change in getting sent to Max, it is true that it feels like a new series. And that's why I hope the producers and Netflix come up with the sequel they were discussing. It'd be nice to see the remaining cast back at minimum security.
I thought it was a good change. It gave the show a real boost. The whole sister rivarly made the season 6 intense and intriguing. The change of environment was refreshing
i’m sorry but taystee fumbled the bag when it came to negotiating, if she accepted the deal nobody would’ve been punished and split up, maritza probably wouldn’t have been deported, taystee maybe wouldn’t have gotten a life sentence, red maybe wouldn’t have gone insane so fast and lose her memory so fast. there’s a lot of what ifs when it come to this situation because we truly don’t know.
Agreed, I think the writing didn't stress enough that it's important to get back, look at the big picture and make a decision for the common good instead of your personal priorities.

it's horrible that the main focus is the two COs dead when the riot was triggered by an inmate death caused by a CO and yet the system wants to forget that. They want to pretend and skip over her death and focus on COs even though one was shown through video proof to be violent toward the girls and the other who brought the gun inside thus him being the source of his own death. This show really does show how fucked the system can be.

I agree. I totally wish she faded away and allowed more people to shine more like Poussey, Tastyee, and Gloria. A lot of people of color were there and had a better performance and acting skills than her; I am sorry but this show gave a platform for women of color and shed a light on their talent and their voice.
Not action, drama. More accurately: the show overall is a dramedy, nothing else to call it. It features excellent comedy writing as well as solid tense drama and some harrowing tragedy... every season. Its genre was _never_ just a comedy show.
Would be nice for jenji amd netflix do a spin off and tackle the cases of tasya and how she can actuaññy get the real.culprit caught and punished and for alex and piper to continue as a maeried couole and the drug lord knowing vause is alive will have some conflict on that..... I do hope they indeed do a spin off...so.many choices.for.story continuity...🙏🙏🙏
