I've been a heat fan for the past 20 years. They have always hit harder than everyone expects. Their culture, the way they produce stars and find a way to work with "outsiders" is what Pat Riley did and what Spoelstra inherited. What an amazing franchise!

Spoelstra has stationed himself in front of a TV with a remote studying every movement, of every game, of every player.. this is what he always does.. the guy lives for these moments to show off what he has put together. He rarely shows his hand in the regular season.. but he puts all cards on the table for the post season.
The adjustments he made against the Bucks were next level masterclassing. It was a lot of Butler brilliance but there was a lot of Spoelstra brilliance in it as well. And there had to be, because the Bucks were the favorites to win and the Heat outside of Butler is not that talented.. just a bunch of scrappy mofos that follow their assignment.

When he played pro ball in Germany he coached the clubs juniors squad as well as being a player on the senior pro club then was a player and assistant coach on the senior pro club.

Something as simple as benching a slumping Randle in the 4th quarter is met with praise since it is so unlike him to do something like that.
