The interview with Garcia and Weir started because Interview magazine was doing a “Family” issue and some editor thought it would be a fun idea to interview the Grateful Dead. When they contacted the Dead, Jerry Garcia said he’d do the interview if Howard Rheingold was the interviewer. ;-)

Thats a great picture. Thankfully Jerry & Bobby didn't actually do that to poor Mickey. Would have been down a drummer. Definitely would have sounded different and strange. Still miss the Dead. Longtime Deadhead 42 years and counting. Deadhead forever. Thanx for posting this.

I would like to hear comments by Jordan Peterson on this view of family dynamics
He actually admitted that family might be the only institution that should be Communistic. Despite how catastrophically destructive it can be as government it seems to work with family units provided there is NO LEADER.
I think I'll give him a call, now that I've got his number.
