Can you use normal tike grout on these boards if u so desire ? Nothing daft like it won't stick or somehting

Just flexible grout is fine.

It's absolute bigger to cut anything other than straight cuts

Grinder with an old porcelain tile blade does the job very fast, outside obviously.

How uneven can the floor be? Many floorboards are miss shapen and at different heights.

Smooth them out with a sander and nail em down

You could use self levelling compound to level out on top of the backer boards
