Absolute honor being able to share this moment with two of the best guys I’ve met through speedrunning. You did an incredible job, man. Thank you for giving Shoy and I the opportunity to present this game we all care so much about alongside you.

The thing I’m most impressed with this run is just you nailing all the hardest parts of the game first try
it's honestly nuts just how incredibly skilled BfBB speedrunners and SHiFT especially are. In most 60fps games 1-frame tricks are like, a huge deal and people avoid them for RTA full-game speedruns, but the BfBB community seems to just have collectively "gotten used" to doing dozens of 1-frame tricks every run. The absolute dedication is incredible.
I was there in chat watching the run and I legit forgot how fun it is to watch speedruns, the tricks that were pulled off were amazing. Keep up the amazing work!
It might not have been a perfect run, but it was the perfect walk through run. It was super crisp, and it was wonderful to watch.

Great run performed, showing off every new trick since the last performance at GDQ. From SBA, the goo cage, VMS; its all grand. Quicc slicc first try was perfect and even though fast nut was second try it still goes to show the peak performance of this game and all its one-framed tricks. Also amazing witnessing what came later the same day.

Even after watching the streams for several months now, I still managed to learn new things from the commentary.
I hate how the 60 hours a week thing was interpreted in chat. They weren't being forced to work that much, they chose to. That's why it shows their passion, that they chose to work for such a long time polishing this game and even years later regret that they didn't work on it more.
i thought the way i explained it was clear, but sometimes people just look for reasons to get riled up i suppose

This day will be remembered by the community forever. The long awaited return to GDQ and the 43 happening a few hours later was just perfect. Almost like it was meant to be. The GDQ run was so nice to see with the gang back together commentating. Great job by all. Hopefully next year we can see 100% in GDQ that would be insane. Keep pushing the limits of this game. Also, the "how'd that get in there" was hilarious and perfectly timed :D

Glad I was able to catch the run live. Was my most anticipated of the entire week. The only snag I saw was chat being negative in the robo Pat fight for the devs doing crunch sessions making the game. Was really heartwarming at the end, especially with chat joining in on the run dedication. Commentary had a nice flow to it also, which is hard to find on GDQ strangely enough.
Overall, superb showcase guys!
i thought i emphasized that the dev hours were voluntary because they loved the game so much, so much that their only regrets were that they couldn't perfect it even further. but people always find ways to make things negative i suppose. glad you enjoyed and appreciate the feedback!
