I think its possible that if Vulkan returned, he would see that he made a mistake in not killing the high lords of Terra during the war of the beast, when it seemed like one of the two options he would take. "Destroy the rot, build something new" to paraphrase the mood of that moment. I believe it is possible that Vulkan would be one of the primarchs to have a civil war against the degraded aspects of the imperium while focusing almost exclusively on the consolidating of strength in imperial territory and defence instead of expansion and reclamation. I think his interaction with the Emperor and what the Emperor would want from him would be very different, and if he took the Emperor's sword, he would have reforged it into an incredible weapon to suit himself, instead of posing as a de facto Emperor.
Also I think that when Vulkan is written well, he is far more nuanced than the type cast benevolent figure he is seen as by the community. His campaigns during the Great Crusade and the Heresy forced him to deal with and address his weaknesses, often called out by Ferrus Manus. He was childlike in a sense and afraid of his own power. I feel as though, like Corax has learnt to embrace his innate warp abilities, Vulkan would have learnt to accept his potential for destruction. A tenet from the Tome of Fire that he created expresses that "One cannot come back as they once were" and after Vulkan's true resurrection, he would have come to accept fully that with creation comes destruction, two essential sides of the same coin. I personally feel to write Vulkan as the same naive character as he has been in the past is to neglect his lessons and growth.

Well for starters the Indomitus Crusade would be known as the *"Great Friendship Crusade"* . An all of Vulkans enemies would either die or have their backs broken from all the mighty hugs he woulds give out. An all Primaris Marines would be called the *"Friendship marines"* .
It would be called the Brotherhood Crusade.

Oh for sure, despite being the "nice guy" he'll issue punishment where it's due. The only imperial deaths he doesnt want are casualties of war.
A being as compassionate as Vulkan would be horrified and sickened by the Imperium.

He's like Hephaestus who he is named after his roman counterpart yeah fire and burning shit is cool but the most important thing about him is that he builds and repairs things (space empire) and cares about people

Vulkan is not a master strategist or politician. He Love's mankind but has a great dislike for politics, remember in The Beast Arises Series he could have killed off the High Lords and become Lord Commander of The Imperium but don't and let others handle the politics of the war and he was just the inspiring figurehead.
Hes still a primarch though and after seeing how bad things have gotten I like to think he would rise to the challenge

Vulkan would be a bad leader for the Imperium at large. He has no interest or desire to lead. Look at how badly he did during the War of The Beast.

Kill switch is installed on the golden throne already. If emperor truly dies, everything goes to hell

I don’t think allot of channels made videos on different Chapters on their specialty. Like what they excess on, what are they good at, does it fit their Chapter Tactics in the Codex and does it make sense and like the other separate chapters like Blood Angels, Dark Angels, and Space Wolves.

I think the Emperor would give him some weird dream again where he makes a device which would allow the Emperor to regenerate before having to fight of the Death Guard who want it for Grandpa Nurgle
What about taking them out of military action and having them craft newer and better quality arms and armour for the other legions? That’s what they could do. They are great fighters but their true strength is in craft and that would make more of a difference in the long run than having them directly fighting.

Isn’t Vulcan programmed with the emperor’s knowledge? In old earth, it said he had all the knowledge of the emperor and his secrets. If that includes tactical knowledge, he’d probably be an unkillable Guilliman and be potentially a better pick.

however the emperor said to konrad before he died that the primarchs arnt dead as death doesnt exist, its just a transition, which is to say if it was the emperor, i reckon it was. he hints that they arnt dead in "konrad curze" book. where it shows you that really konrad is a good guy who just is mentally ill and gets forgiven by the emperor.
