I mean, considering Leagues of Votaan and Imperial Guard are my two main armies, I REALLY want this roadmap to be legit. I'm just happy we're finally getting a novel about the Kin though. It's about damn time.
From Dawn to Darkness sounds like a Dark Angel one. Like The lion hearing about sanguinius death, and blames himself for not heading to terra sooner, rather purging traitor homeworlds

After The Dawn The Darkness by Guy Haley is almost assuredly Blood Angels. After Sanguinius' death the Black Rage took hold. Maybe I'm taking too big of a leap but he has kind of taken charge of all the Blood Angels writing of late.
The first four make a lot of sense. We know about BA, a Thousand Sons one coming with SM2 makes a ton of sense, there was a new Krieg book plus special editions of older books recently, and Votann is FINALLY getting a book. After that, it's all up in the air tho.
bare in mind folks, the last Codex road map didn't have things in release order. Astra Militarum could be Winter this year and still release just after Christmas. Votann first.
I don't play much 40K these days, but I would like to see Imperial and Chaos Knights this side of Christmas. With such a small range between the two, it would make sense if they were combined into a dual-codex. Even better, a new 40K Warhammer Quest game or Space Hulk would be something special for the festive season...
New Models for World Eaters are a plus. More important are rules for existing and not anymore existing CSM and Forgeworld units. Here my Wishlist: - Beserkers on Bikes - Terminator Lord - Drop Pods - Vindicator - Beserker Jump Infantry - Special World Eaters Terminators (Red Butchers like) - Beserker Surgeon - Beserkers on Juggernauts - Kytan in Plastic
I've always wanted to see the Teeth of Khorne make a return as well... dishonoured World Eaters who instead of being executed, instead have 'messy' weapons such as heavy bolters, autocannons & plasma chained & welded to their hands/armour so they can no longer engage in 'honourable combat', while their weapons leave little more than shredded/scorched chunks of meat behind, so they also can no longer even offer up skulls to lore Khorne! It would plug an insanely huge hole in our roster as well, giving us some mid-ranged infantry based heavy weapons.
Thousand Sons, Death Guard, & world Eaters, in that order would also be there range release order again, and would mean that there rules sets are up to date with 10th edition, and of course it would make sense to bring them up to date right before the final of the 4 Chaos God dedicated Chapters drops.
