That durian = 80 Baht, the price is normal. She did not set a foreigner price. She gives you a lot of discounts because she sees you as a foreigner, so she wants you to try durian. Hope you have a nice trip in Thailand. 🎉🎉 💗 🇹🇭 💗 🎉🎉

Durian is normally expensive. She didn't overpriced it at all.

  • @JAMES-uo5rc

Monks don't walk around asking for food. But the villagers were the giver by standing, holding food, waiting for the monks to walk through and let the villagers put the food in the container😁

  • @suwbaka1708

As you already know durian is the king of fruits so the price is not cheap. The whole durians sell in kilograms and peeled ones sell in grams. Seeing the way you bargain just broke my heart for them. Pls don’t take thai generosity for granted. So many travel youtubers are doing that even though they earn a lot more money than people selling food by the roads.

  • @prawaddeemak4477

I want to tell foreigners that Not everything in Thailand is cheap. Fruits like durian have a very high cost. If you want quality products, you have to pay more. The seller is very kind to give you a discount because she wants tourists to try it.

  • @redroseivy

Thank you for your video. I am a Thai who lives in Australia. The scene of people offering food to the monk at the local market has really touched my soul and made me tearful. I haven’t seen it for ages since I moved here. ❤🙏

  • @khachanon8929

Durian is the king of Thai fruits. It's quite expensive than all the fruits.

  • @famcap03

Normal price. Durian is expensive. And now it's not durian season yet, the price is very high, but there are cheap varieties.

  • @ubolruk33sa32

Durian is expensive as usual, sometimes I buy it for 500 baht per pack. But she was kind enough to give you a discount and only sell one piece. We, Thai people, buy a kilo of fruit. Things in Thailand may be cheap but there are some things that are expensive. I hope you enjoy trying different fruits.

This price of durian is normal. Monthong durian One set will start at 250 baht ++ or maybe more depending on the place of purchase. (Long distance transportation, a lot of shipping costs) and more or less productivity depends on the weather each year. because it is a seasonal fruit produce results in a short period of time Durian is not a year-round fruit. And cause some of the produce from the garden to be booked in advance over the year to be sold abroad. Only a few percent of the products sold in the country are produced. make it expensive And Thai people are willing to pay a high price because it is a fruit that is not available to eat all year round. There is only a period of 3-4 months.

  • @burgerr.5599

She gave you special price I’m Thai 80 not too expensive we welcome our friends all over the World.

  • @man_in_darkroom

    ทุเรียนราคานี้ไม่แพงหรอกครับ แม่ค้าอยากให้นักท่องเที่ยวลองกินจึงยอมลดราคาให้

  • @alisonryan-landon9768

Funny how we used to serve "eggs to order" in first class on Pan Am out of Bangkok back in the 70's. I guess there was a love of omelettes even then!

  • @stargazer5073

Brave man, durian is an acquired taste. Great job!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Anattatransientidentity
