This guy is awesome....hands down...I took my 06 busa to him for my ECU to be flashed and a tune...got a new chain and sprockets. Let me just say after riding this bike for almost two years I really see how much power this bike has....I'm going to have to put an arm on it to keep it down 🤣🤣.... I can't wait to start lining up against people 😜. Loved meeting him...he was cool as hell the staff was cool as hell...was well worth the wait and drive! Thanks again Chris!!
I have the 2016 model and I LOVE this bike. Best bike ever, because it does everything so well. It's definitely the most comfortable bike i've ever ridden and I will never get rid of it, unless buying another one. I wish you guys were closer. I'm in California. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! My 2016 GSX-S1000 now makes 145,6 hp at the wheel after ECU flash. And runs so much nicer,no snatchy jerky throtthe

Now CM has to do ignition maps. Summit Racing has some good general information on ignition timing.

My 2016 gsxs1000 is insane after the chris moore tune. Can’t wait to get this sucker to the track. The instant throttle response is way better than the pc5 I was using.

Came back to watch this a second time after they just dropped the new 2022 gsxs 1000-gt! Definitely getting it may even ride it from ms for a dyno tune so it can be on the channel. So pumped they finally updated this bike. If you can get it faster I may just buy it from y’all, and you break it in with some vids 🤔

It would be super cool if we could see some dyno overlays of the different exhaust systems on the same bikes. I think you've done CS Racing, Arrow with Yosh slip on, and M4 full exhaust on the GSX-S1000's now.

I just sent my 2016 S1000 ECU in... similar setup but with an Akropovic pipe. Can't wait to see the difference!!
I have a feeling the answer is a lot. After looking at the specs for the CS racing system on the z900 vs other manufacturers, the CS is much heavier and providing far less hp gains than Akropovic or Brocks. That sucks as I really like the design of the CS.

Mine made 156bhp on the dyno a few days ago and it´s stock with the exception of a pcv 5, would love to decat it but I like to ride in Germany sometimes and apparently the German police have the power to confiscate your motorcycle if you have tampered with the exhaust.

Hello there it's one of the a subscriber love your videos wanted to know what can I get out of my cb500 2017.
OK got a Question everyone alway tells me that to get a good AFR reading you need install the O2 sensor in the exhaust not just thrown down the pipe with that being said i install it properly using a bung and i’m getting rich AFR with the factory tune is it possible that factory bikes aren’t lean and but buy just throwing the wide band O2 sensor down the exhaust you will get a lean AFR reading because it’s not close enough to the headers to get an accurate reading love the vids and i want to lean more keep it up.

So question, what if a map is adding 20% in a few columns and 40% in others? Do you want the adjoining cells to be consistent in a given area fuel percent over stock wise?

Secondary's are supposed to be for keeping up the air velocity when you whack the throttle open. They lag behind. But if they close, that's bad. Pop and bang tune is annoying to me.
Did the headers look a decent size? Or larger then normal?

Chris, I had my ecu flash by you, I would like to know what I can do to get more performance out of my bike,what would be my next step? I have a full R-11 Yoshimura exhaust, k n air filter, rear sprocket drop one tooth, from 45 to 44. My bike is a 2018, gsxs-1000f. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks
Broham, I think you over state the gains of partial vs. WO throttle. (not all taking away from your awesome tuning work) At around the 6 min. mark you state the number two throttle plate is at 50% or 50 % power. That's not the case, otherwise your graph would show a doubling of power, if you went to 100% position in those locations and it doesn't. Imho. p.s. 144 hp for some thing that's considered a sport tourer is way good...that's probably as good as a XX Blackbird back in the day.

If you mod your bike out the wazoo, this is the best way to do it. Guessing is a crap shoot. He said around $300 at least.
How do you rate the CS racing exhaust?
Did the tailpipe have carbon fiber around it?

if thats 145 at the wheel what is it at the engine? these are around 140 stock at the engine aren't they?
A gain of about 6-7hp at identical rpm at the top before both start falling off. Thats not too bad.

That's about 10hp down from the last one you did with m4 exhaust. Is choosing exhaust that critical?
I bought a 2020 gsxs 1000 a week ago and am currently doing the which exhaust and tune shuffle. The cs sounds so nasty but it'll be impossible to convince myself to buy it knowing the m4 makes better power.
Breathing all that insulation has affected your ability to choose proper color foot gear.

How does the cs racing exhaust compare to others in terms of performance? Sound?
I had several bikes and several different exhausts. CS Racing sounds the best. Performance wise, they are mostly the same if you compare de-cat hi-flo exhausts
Was this bike lowered or was it just strapped down, I have the exact same bike and trying to do a few things to make it look better
We tie them down pretty tight on the dyno so they look lowered.

I guess it is about time to send you the ecu for my 2016 GSXS 1000. Mine drives pretty smooth as it is so that is what makes it hard to spend the money for just a few more horses across the curve.
I thought the same thing for my bike until I got it flashed, if you feel like your bike is running smooth, a tune will change your opinion forever.

Yeah, you have to remove your ecu and mail it to him.
I got my ECU flashed three months ago, it has a full system exhaust with no catalytic converter. It does gargle between 7-8k Rpms but throws no flames at all. Any thoughts please?
Not all bikes are gonna do the flames. It really depends on the type of exhaust. Make sure your pair valve is not blocked off also.
