Aside from those I think we're done bringing back characters because the cast is getting as big as It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World. Or Ted Levine from 2 Fast 2 Furious.

This was one of the funniest Spolier discussions I've seen in a while, watching 3 seasoned critics try to process then satirically justify how stupid and illogical the film can get. They're really isn't another franchise like Fast & Furious out there that does this to people...
The biggest problem I had with Fast X wast at the end of F9 they teased Han confronting Deckard Shaw and setting it up for Fast X so that you're expecting some kind of resolution to the fact that Deckard Shaw tried to kill Han and thought that he did but then in Fast X it's just a throwaway scene and nothing really happens and nothing got resolved. On top of the fact that in the post credits of F9 Han still had his short hair and in Fast X during that scene Han has long hair. You can't just overlook a continuity issue like that. Another issue I have with this movie's plot is that even though Jason Momoa was great in this movie the villain he plays is a dumbass. 😶 He waited until after 4 movies to come and get his revenge for his father giving Dom and his family more time to become more experienced as super spies and gain superhuman strength and immortality. So now even if Jason Momoa's character wants to harm or kill Dom and his family he literally can't. Even if he does manage to kill them they'll just rise up from the dead more times than Jesus Christ himself.
Your criticism of the movie and the completely missed opportunity of resolving the issues that Han/Shaw should have with each other are right. But the part about "giving Dom and his family more time to become more experienced as super spies and gain superhuman strength and immortality" just made me laugh so hard because it's true. Before F6 he would have been believable if anyone died or had their life at risk but since, everyone is revived or able to survive anything. I’m pretty sure that’s cause Jacob was actively trying to get revenge on Dom and Dom let him go in the end of 9 and in this one they got back together in a way he’s family now after all and cena is now the cool uncle not that’s hard to understand I think since he has a much smaller role in the movie

I was getting Jack Nicholson's Joker vibes from Dante/Jason Momoa the whole time. That pastel purple color of his car, the "punched/spat out tooth", the smiles and dances as he wrecks mayhem - I could've sworn Dante even did something like "You wouldn't punch a guy with xyz, wouldya?"
I don't give a damn about this movie, but watching the guys go through it and react to their own recollection of how ridiculous it is will never stop being hilarious. "And then this guy did this thing but before he could do that his sister had to tell his uncle that this thing happened so that-" "Hold on, Joe, you're skipping the part where..."
I didn't even notice how silly a commercial airline having a bomb bay, I was too surprised the canoe plane got through TSA and the fact that it was definitely impossible to guide.

I love the part where the movie ends and a person in the theater scream and says "Who fucking it skip forward on the player?" And the whole audience laughed. Some people went to the amc employees and asked if there were technical difficulties when playing the end. We all was so confused
We really must be in opposite world because my brother is like Alex and has deeply hated the series since five only watching it for fun at this point. I love them all, Like Joe, and I feel this one was tame as hell compared to the last 3 or 4. My brother teared up on a certain scene and told me it’s his favorite since the 5th. So yeah man the fast franchise has a rooted place in my heart and the family theme as hysterical as it is means a lot to me who didn’t get to have time with cousins and aunts or even grandparents growing up. Momoa killed it in this and I want to see more. Maybe a Hobbs and Shaw sequel where the rock kicks his ass but still loses.
Definitely my fav since the 5th. I enjoyed this film, I think partly because Jason Mamoa was a surprisingly great villain.
