Seeing OJ get more confident on camera over time has been such a treat. His comedic timing just keeps getting better and better! The DnD Dark Alliance review still cracks me up so much lol "I'm legless!"
The best part of my Fast X movie experience had nothing to do with the movie. A family was there with this little child and the theater played 4 horror movie trailers and the kid was terrified. Laughed my ass off

I loved this movie! Don't get me wrong, this movie is shit 😂 but those serious moments are HILARIOUS. Especially when Dom gets all emotional lmao his line delivery had me in tears from laughter. Jason Momoa was like a dollar store joker, and it was funny af. The action scenes were so stupid that I had to contain my laughter in the theater. I honestly treat this series as comedy at this point. I hope the ride never ends.

My favorite part was where Vin Diesel caught a missile mid air after getting launched off his lifted muscle car and threw it back at the bad guys then back flipped back into his car mid air and steered the car into balance while drifting down a collapsing building and once made it safely untouched and the car fully in tact he gets out and looks into the screen just to say “family”

Shit my first date with my wife there was nothing good. So we just went to see the second Percy Jackson. We were the only ones in the theater so we just made fun of the movie the whole time XD
We really must be in opposite world because my brother is like Alex and has deeply hated the series since five only watching it for fun at this point. I love them all, Like Joe, and I feel this one was tame as hell compared to the last 3 or 4. My brother teared up on a certain scene and told me it’s his favorite since the 5th. So yeah man the fast franchise has a rooted place in my heart and the family theme as hysterical as it is means a lot to me who didn’t get to have time with cousins and aunts or even grandparents growing up. Momoa killed it in this and I want to see more. Maybe a Hobbs and Shaw sequel where the rock kicks his ass but still loses.

This movie was pretty good. Just makes sense if you see that Dante is just matching what was done to his Father in Fast 5, which was the suffering part Dante kept mentioning.
I was surprised by how much it entertained me. You just gotta embrace the ridiculous shit or else you will hate it. It's never going back to normal. Momoa while at times a bit too much and slightly annoying was cool, quite enjoyed John Cena with his nephew here too, fun scenes. What isn't fun is the open ending. You don't end that way and have us wait until 2025.

no one comes to these movies expecting a serious movie, that sounds like the real issue. even the first movie is a heist movie with a cop trying to infiltrate the gang of thieves, its literally Point Break with cars. Anyone who claims the movie was ever about street racing are crazy or stupid. Fast and Furious, the very first one was about street racing as much as Point Break was a movie about surfing. even the final race to catch Dom was ludicrous, since he brushes off a car wreck that should have killed him with a "oh my side hurts" and the movies just get more ridiculous from there, increasing the stupidity with each sequel.
I understand what I'm getting when I walk into a Fast & Furious film. It's just stupid, crazy, & over the top action sequences and set pieces with characters I enjoy. Jason Momoa was AWESOME as a villain and the mid-credit scene had both theaters I went to going Ape ish!! This movie was definitely better than Fast 9 simply because Jason Momoa was a better villain. He was fantastic and I need to see more of him as a villain! I loved how they leaned on the memes with the Family stuff.
Next film, it turns out Jason Momoa's dead dad aint dead, and is the big bad, and Jason has to team up with Dom and Fam to bring down his now over the top villain dad.

When the movie ended on that horrendous cliff hanger I hopped out my seat and left as quick as I could ain’t no way you end a movie like that especially this franchise there is no way🤯🤦🏽 (Edit) I should say even tho I did know what they were doing with that cliffhanger setting up for more sequels that is exactly what bothered me. All the other movies ended on a pretty good note, my favorite being 7. But this one just felt lackluster af I just hope whatever last movies they make are better than this.
I totally understand the Villain plot in this one. I probably could have had my own family too if everyone wasn't too busy calling me Simple Jack. But then you realize that families aren't for everyone because kids eat everything and make a mess wherever they go and that's BEFORE they get to be grown-ups

The movie Fast X fails to get you invested in any ANY of the characters. compare that To Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 it makes you care about a character you bearly see on screen for a few scenes... A talking Raccoon in space is more believable than the Fast X franchise. the Fast franchise made the mistake of setting itself up in a version of the real world. its like it wants to be a DC comic. Dom is basically Batman if Batman was public about his identity, got a family and has to deal with the consequences of the Joker knowing who he is.

I was surprised by how much it entertained me. You just gotta embrace the ridiculous shit or else you will hate it. It's never going back to normal. Momoa while at times a bit too much and slightly annoying was cool, quite enjoyed John Cena with his nephew here too, fun scenes. What isn't fun is the open ending. You don't end that way and have us wait until 2025.
Yeah, the ending pissed me off, but there's going to be 2 more movies.
The soul of this franchise died with Paul Walker, this is just a reanimated corpse dancing around for dumb fun of some people.
I hated the fast and the furious franchise until I realized it wasn't taking itself seriously. It's SUCH a different franchise than it started out as.

I think the Fast franchise has become like a soap opera with cars and explosion. People enjoy it for the silliness.
no one comes to these movies expecting a serious movie, that sounds like the real issue. even the first movie is a heist movie with a cop trying to infiltrate the gang of thieves, its literally Point Break with cars. Anyone who claims the movie was ever about street racing are crazy or stupid. Fast and Furious, the very first one was about street racing as much as Point Break was a movie about surfing. even the final race to catch Dom was ludicrous, since he brushes off a car wreck that should have killed him with a "oh my side hurts" and the movies just get more ridiculous from there, increasing the stupidity with each sequel.
I understand what I'm getting when I walk into a Fast & Furious film. It's just stupid, crazy, & over the top action sequences and set pieces with characters I enjoy. Jason Momoa was AWESOME as a villain and the mid-credit scene had both theaters I went to going Ape ish!!
This movie was definitely better than Fast 9 simply because Jason Momoa was a better villain. He was fantastic and I need to see more of him as a villain! I loved how they leaned on the memes with the Family stuff.
So in the next movie, will Vin diesel have cars powered by gas that spells out the acronym F.A.M.I.L.Y.

I totally understand the Villain plot in this one. I probably could have had my own family too if everyone wasn't too busy calling me Simple Jack. But then you realize that families aren't for everyone because kids eat everything and make a mess wherever they go and that's BEFORE they get to be grown-ups

I enjoyed this movie , you should understand this is part 1 a set up to part 2 and 3 so when all 3 have come out you can watch all three back to back and enjoy a 6 hour movie

i liked it to be honest. they kinda grounded it a bit compared to 9. ridiculousness is still there but. Still loved it. Momoa indeed kinda saved 10. joker(heathe ledger) vibe but funnier, hard to unlike villain. loved the ridiculousness of it. twas fun
The movie Fast X fails to get you invested in any ANY of the characters.
compare that To Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 it makes you care about a character you bearly see on screen for a few scenes...
A talking Raccoon in space is more believable than the Fast X franchise.
the Fast franchise made the mistake of setting itself up in a version of the real world.
its like it wants to be a DC comic. Dom is basically Batman if Batman was public about his identity, got a family and has to deal with the consequences of the Joker knowing who he is.
