I so wished Art had continued releasing Albums in the 80's,sure he did 3 or 4 songs for soundtracks but no proper Albums, It's quite telling that Artie didn't give the real reason why he had such a hard time in those early to mid 80's, the answer is on the back of his Album "Scissors Cut", So very sad, it's amazing he got in a new headspace and bounced back with the "Lefty" Album in 89
Art is one of the best underrated singers of all time. HE was S&G. Paul may have written the songs, but the songs are useless w/o someone to sing them the way Art does.
Prod. Gage DuVal I agree with you totally. Writing lyrics can be taught but Artie’s voice is God given & we are all blessed to hear it. He is the one who brings the lyrics to life & is so amazing. Love him!!! 💕💕💕
Jimmy Webb has been practically an unknown for decades due to lack of exposure........it's a shame but now we have great singers who will never record Jimmy's songs like they have over the past 50 years.......Glen Campbell and Linda Ronstadt.......thank God Artie appreciates Jimmy's great talent for great song writing.
For me, this is one of THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SONGS i know. It touches me to tears. Shame it is so unknown. The chord progression is a prece of Art.
Love Artie.. He is a darling. So humble.
Jimmy Webb has written many all time classics
Art Garfunkel is one of the best singers around.....!!
These two need to keep collaborating WHY DID THEY STOP ??
When Breakaway came out I was hooked. His carefully chosen songs are both calming and inspiring
Wonderful singer with an equally talented songwriter, makes for a fantastic duo together, and a beautiful song...
Simon&Garfunkel

yea WHY did Jimmy STOP WORKING with Art ! Great stuff on that EWTBN !
Jimmy Webb is a genius.
May the atmosphere of his present-day public rehearsals help him.
Reminds me of John Gillespie Magee, Jr.’s poem. High Flight. Jimmy Webb, do you know it?
THIS SONGA TOUCHES ME like no iother!!!!!!!!!
I get the chills sometimes on this one. Indescribable how Art's voice affects me but I love it!
Perfection. :)
Check the Jimmy Webb recording on his album Twilight Of The Renegades, a great song from a great album.
Interviewer needs to learn to listen or be fired.
YESS !!!
I love Artie Garfunkel. The has an amazing voice and handsome man.
This is real talent, not this manufactured ordure that crams the airwaves in these troubled times.
One of the best songs ever written and sung - Art is brilliant - he makes the song fly !!
I totally agree!
certainly, a unique voice. a favorite
Brilliant .. anybody who has attempted to write a song will appreciate the genius of those chord changes … totally original from the master
Great music, self-reflective lyrics.
C'est magique !❤❤❤❤❤❤

O maior compositor vivo em atividade e uma das mais lindas vozes deste planeta 🎼❤️🌹
That MC was not prepared for the interview. He hardly knew who Jimmy Webb was.

Amazingly beautiful, if only Art's breathing hadn't gotten so shaky on this one.
