njpammy Goes to Show Artie can deliver his beautiful sound without any help from Paul. I love all of his solo work and his “Up Close & Personal” shows he is performing now all over the world. His fans will always love him. ❤️❤️❤️
When Jimmy read that S&G had broken up he flew to San Francisco to pitch a song to Art Garfunkel (knowing he would now need a song writer). He knew Artie was very particular about his song choices & created this beautiful song to get his attention. It worked out great for both of them. Artie brought the song to a great success & it has been one of my favorites. Everything Artie sings becomes a delight to our ears. Thank you Jimmy & Artie for this special song. 💕💕💕
I just watched Glen Campbell sing it when he was on Bob Costas LATER show so I had to find Glen's recording of this but I found Jimmy Webb singing it here instead and it is something I enjoy more since I have written music for over 50 years myself and seeing the composer sing it is priceless! This was fabulous to see but I must say the audience near the end were just obnoxious with the noise they were making! Bravo to this performance Mr. Webb and shame on those in the audience for not remaining quiet! That's ALL folks and THAT'S ALL I KNOW!
What can i say ... this piano performance was your very best. Thanks for the lifetime of wonderful tunes and performances! I loved Maynard Ferguson's versions of your tunes, as well! There will never be another JIMMY WEBB!!!
Simply beautiful. I've taken my parents to see Art Garfunkel sing it. Jimmy Webb wrote it and I would love to see him in concert too. This song is simply amazing, soothing, beautiful.
Jimmy Webb is wonderful to see live. Every song has a story, told in his folksy Oklahoma way just like he did here. Saw him last year. He's a good guy, very personable and down to earth.
Heard he wrote "ALL I KNOW" when he was 12 years old ! That is incredible. It was his good fortune to have Glen Campbell & Art Garfunkel pervasively record and disseminate his material ..... from there is was considered GOLD in writing popular Tunes .... and obviously he has that gift no other does. GBjj
A magnificent COMPOSER of melody and lyrics .... cannot carry a tune in a wheelbarrow .... and I cannot understand how he has made such wonderful music all these years ...., but, I still listen for the material is damn good !!! GBjj
Mr. Webb was kind enough to see my wife and I after the show and sign my Macarthur Park sheet music with Richard Harris's picture on it. After all I had been carrying it around for some 60 years. I''m not so sure he was enamored of that... Jimmy wasn't paid very much for that song regardless of how big it got...so goes the music business. I have a chance to see him again in September.. we'll see....Don
Great tune and great story behind the scenes. "Knuckleheads" indeed...the incapacity of people to shut the #$*! up when it's called for never ceases to amaze me. No, no dude, I know it's about you not the legendary songwriter who's performing right in front of you. Ahem, anyway sorry about that, Jimmy Webb is a great writer. Thanks for posting this.
@@Versul1 I thought at first that all that background chatter was some sort of electronic "crossover" or something, but then other listeners picked up on It, too. I just cannot fathom how these people could be so rude to anyone but especially to such a tremendous singer-songwriter as Jimmy Webb. This just boggles the mind. That the audience was sitting at tables and not in a theatre is no excuse!
So happy that he wrote this beautiful song for Art Garfunkel. It’s one of my favorites & Artie sings it like an angel. Thank you Jimmy Webb.
It's definitely one of my favorites too. Right up there with Bridge over Troubled Water

So great to hear the story behind the song and the humor in Webb’s heart.
My favorite song of ALL Time! That's All I Know. ❤️

What an amazing composer. There are writers who would be happy to of written one great song like that. Jimmy has dozens just as great.
One of the most beautiful songs ever written. Deeply moving every time I hear it. Thanks Jimmy
Steve B sounds like shit, that’s all I know !

I like it much better by you.
SO talented!
Love it Jimmy Webb, and your voice sounds beautiful
Jimmy WEbb performing.. sounds good..too bad the crowd is so loud... glad I saw him when I did.. keep it up Jimmy..
How awesome you got to see him. I missed seeing him in Columbus, O. April 24, 2022, the show was sold out a month before.

The best rendition is on his album with Linda Ronstadt singing duet/backup.
His voice never sounded ever better.
Gershon Hoffman sounds like shit, that’s all I know
Incredible
He does a duet with Linda Ronstadt of this song, breathtaking beautiful. Her last professional recording, because it was him.
One of the best songs of all time.
Genius.

People are a different audience when sitting at tables than they are when they sit in theater seats. Presentation is everything

Should be titled "Jimmy Webb performs All I Know at 4:41
Thanks for the heads up!
I have never heard even one song by Jim Webb that I wanted to hear again.
One thing's for sure, Jimmy was NOT a singer! He was a writer for other people.
More Ralph Kramden than Alfred Hitchcock! LOL 0:58
"I've stolen one of God's songs!" lol...
