Thanks for watching

How this car suddenly comes alive when it is driven by a professional is awesome.
Really does. I’m gonna do my lap and Misha side by side soon. It’s mad how different it looks
Watching this gave me a grin from ear to ear and almost had tears running down my face looking at his expression and yours. This reminded me of a ride (987.2 Cayman S) my brother took with me and I looked like Mischa he looked like you did. When the car started to rotate on it's axis he started looking a bit in fear 😵💫. I let him know we were at about 8 tenths and not to worry 😁, I'm 73 and he's 75 🤫. Thanks for sharing the ride.
🤣🤣 I drive quick and used to fast cars but the way he launched it bends was something else 🤣
Well, there you go, if anyone is going to give your Porsche a good workout, Mischa the man! Excellent video and go the tiptronic gearbox 👍
Thank you! The gearbox is not terrible👍🤣
Some amazing facial expressions there Joe. What an experience.
Honestly Joe I’ve absolutely loved all these Nurburgring videos. I appreciate all the time and effort you’ve put in to them and this one was brilliant. I think it’s very high praise what Misha said about your Cayman, he never mixes his words.
Thank you so much, really appreciate that. Loved making them. Hoping to keep this sort of content going.
Great video Joe! Major kudos for sitting in the passenger seat while someone else wrings out your car.
Miesha certainly can drive!
Car sounds great too. 👍
Thank you!! It was an amazing experience
Sorry, I had to laugh at the fear on your face during some of the segments in the video. I've let my dad drive my own Cayman and there's many moments that has my ass clenching and thinking "Oh here we go, i'm dead lol", even when I make the exact same maneuvers. The confidence dynamics really hits between you driving your car hard and letting someone drive it hard lol
🤣🤣 it’s odd isn’t it. The lack of control as a passenger is so different. I tend to drive the car hard, especially on good quiet roads with other Porsche club members but it’s a different ball game on the Nurburgring with a pro
Your face was priceless! 😂
I would 100% have that same look, and be passenger foot braking 😅
🤣🤣🤣 makes the video
Yeah it was mad! Loved it but so scary
You mean the sheer enjoyment? 😅
Wow! Need to wait until I don’t have to watch this on the phone. Looking forward to it, what a great collaboration.
Thank you! Yeah this is a good one. Incredible experience.
Sorry to have a chuckle at your expense, Joe; but your face on that lap was hilarious ;)
🤣🤣🤣 I mean I couldn’t play poker
Really fun video! That Cayman is quite capable!
Shocked me how good it is!
Awesome!
Thank you! ☺️
Brilliant video Joe, keep up the good work!
Thank you so much ☺️
I’m so pleased for you that you got to ‘enjoy’ (yes we all loved watching your face 😂) your car being driven like that. It’s definitely satisfying to see how capable the platform is and how well it faired at 17 years old, plus how much more it can handle than you have been giving it. Asking someone like Misha to take it out is of course a risk, but then we all have to assess risks when we drive our own sports cars and if the life long memory and reward for a lap like that was worth the potential risk then it’s well worth it I’m sure and at least in your case it paid off. Something you’ll never forget 😊
Thank you! I was terrified for the risk of losing the car but 100% worth it. Totally unforgettable and to meet Misha was great too! Amazing guy and so kind,
A great video a tribute to the car and yourself to let him drive it at that level 👍🏻
And he actually liked the car!
You looked absolutely terrified! Very funny.
Certainly was🤣 my poor little car
Fantastic your face tells the story 😂
Yeah can’t hide how I felt
Love your expression Joe, one of disbelief and fear at parts 😂
🤣🤣 it was shockingly quick. The video doesn’t do it justice 🤣
😂😂 your face at the start is an absolute picture!! Fair play to you as I’m not sure I could be so brave. Great video 👍
Thank you! Yeah it was pretty wild. Scary but worth the risk in my opinion.
@@JoeTalksCars I took my M4 round last year but made the mistake of taking my good lady with me 🥴 possibly the slowest M4 lap of all time 😂😂
@@JoeTalksCars what is Misha like and how much does he charge to ring the neck of your car?
Great vid did you find the brake you were obviously trying to push lol great lap in a great car 👍 nice one joe
Never found it! 🤣
your facial expressions alone are worth the video lol! great video Joe!
🤣🤣 thank you!
@@JoeTalksCarsI would've been terrified as well
Now that’s a proper driver!
Incredible wasn’t it?
Couldn’t decipher if you had fear for your life or for the lack of mechanical sympathy for the old girl getting an absolute thrashing. Obviously a completely different experience to watch compared to your lap which was pedestrian at best (sorry Joe), but the gear shift ferocity shows it was either full brake or full throttle all the way round apart from some mid bend sawing. Loved it.
Haha both! It was very scary but incredible. I went very very slow. Still had fun tho.
Great stuff. I'm looking for a Cayman at present. What tyres are you running Joe?
Nice! It’s got Michelin Ps4s on now.
Great video. As expected rubber bushings are worn on an almost 20 year old Cayman.
Thank you!! Yeah it’s on the list of things I need to do. That and coil overs 🤣
Brake pad sensors just melt on track and throw the signal. You can loop them back on themselves and just not worry (but keep an eye on wear obviously)
Oooh interesting 👍 it’s gone back off now and the pads and discs are new so maybe it was a glitch.
Not sure you looked like you enjoyed that mate 😂 Misha on the other hand, chilled Sunday drive face!
🤣🤣 I did but at the time Jesus Christ it was insane!
Insane, dodgy shock absorber ? And gone full send ? Guys a menace for other TF drivers on the ring atm
Well my mate said he felt it did. No leak, I can’t feel it and Misha said won’t bushes. So he held back due to that.
Get those bushings done. and find racing rotors and pads? lol 👍👍
My plan is to return with upgraded suspension 🤣
No way is Misha king of the ring, not a bad driver but there's so many with more talent i think he's bit overhyped because of his YT channel..
Dose it need more power, you say! Whilst looking like a frightened rabbit in the headlights 😅.
Fair play to you, I'd be frightened to. But no, you don't need more power. That car has more than enough for you. Thanks for the video.
🤣 no it doesn’t. I mean it’s the chassis that allows such insane speeds. Loved it although very scary
Dude is scared to death and the speed alarm keeps beeping. Turn that shit off 🤣
Didn’t remember to do that. Yeah I was, be mad not to be 🤣
Hahaha nice one man! Cayman S owner here, too! Did you put the aftermarket oil pan baffle to stop oil pressure loss / starvation at high G-force maneuvering ?
Some of these shots remind me of the xbox days at yours with nick 😂
🤣 can’t believe this was my 3rd time. That game has made me addicted 🤣
@@JoeTalksCars i remember me and nick running back from school cause you had just got the xbox and game 😂
@@christopherwoodhouse7286 no way! Amazing! You need to get yourself to the Nurburgring for real. It’s incredible
@@JoeTalksCars my dad went he loved it
@@christopherwoodhouse7286 In a car or bike?
I thought the car had some issues ? On your first video ?
So we suspected a shock but I can’t feel that and it’s not leaking. Misha thinks bushes which does make more sense given the cars age. The car had full fast road geometry so ride heights we spot on so hardly going to be a shock.
What speed were you reaching?
140 at points. I have a beep set on the car for 100 so that shows how hard he was going. On his video(coming out soon) he shows more views and the speed. I decided to make it a little different.
Proof that driving skill counts for more than bhp. What was the lap time by the way?
I think it was 8 minutes 50 so pretty good
@@JoeTalksCars Oh Nice. That means I'm faster than Misha in a cayman S round the Nurburgring!
Not to be a buzz-kill, but what would happen if he crashed it?
He sorts it. Misha is a decent bloke and if it came to it would not leave you out of pocket.
You’re such a chicken 😂 you looked scared!!
Yeah. Knowing how fast I’ve driven the car before. Heading into bends 80 mph quicker than I did. Bloody terrifying but incredible.
Did you check your pants afterwards?
Looks like you were genuinely scared for your life tbh...
I was 🤣
If you want to do this kind of thing, fine. But it's poor advice to suggest other people should give their cars to Misha. He pushes cars very hard, often doesn't leave much margin and crashes regularly. That's not to criticise his ability, it's just a reality if you're pushing that hard, things are going to go wrong. I wouldn't let him near my cars. Again, I'm not criticising his ability, it's his MO that's the problem as a car owner.
He doesn't crash, "regularly". Why lie and say that he does ??
@@thecraiglett1 It's not a lie. He crashed an M4 a few weeks ago and ended up in hospital. He crashed his own GR86 nine months ago. He crashed another M4 about six months before that, crashed a GT86 before that and on and on. In fact, he's crashed eight times this year. After the latest crash there's been something of an outcry on the Nurburgring group FB page for the whole go fund me thing and the complete lack of introspection when it comes to crashing. He's a liability. So, fuck off and don't falsely accuse people of lying.
@@thecraiglett1 It's not a lie. He's crashed a good number of cars and there's growing concern about the way he drives on TF.
@@thecraiglett1 Oh, and here's some highlights of his recent crashes:
E30 Turbo - Overheated the brakes and binned it Wehrseifen
- BMW 330 drove into another competitor in RCN (average time trial) spun into barrier Metzgesfeld
- MX5 - spun off into the barrier in the wet - pre Carrousel
- BMW 330 - pre season testing, side gone
- BMW 330 - first lap of quali, first VLN, wheel on the white line barrier flugplatz
- E92 M3 I think Metzgesfeld
- M4 ignored low tyre pressure warning and tyre loosing grip, found the barrier bruchen lI
- BMW 330 - turned straight across the front of a GT4 car that was alongside, Bruchen Il
- GR86 - in waaay too hot into Bruchen 1, misses the apex, gets on the marbles, barrier
@@thecraiglett1mate he has had many crashes and he does crash way more than any taxi driver doing more laps than him. You just don’t hear about them. Been said many times he will kill himself or someone else if he doesn’t change
What is wrong with you? Looks like you don’t want to be there
Spending all this money on a car, rebuilding the engine then watch as you head into bends double what you think is possible.
