Phanteks cases are an absolute pleasure to build in. They have some of the best aesthetics without being too in your face and blingy. Definitely doing my next full tower build in one.
Bro, Ive had this case and at the time of purchase, I didn't have enough components to make it look full lol. I recommend not getting this case unless you for sure know you wanna put alot of components into it to make it look full and tight. So I purchased its little brother the Phanteks Enthoo Pro Tempered Glass, and I built in that first. After doing some research on custom loop liquid builds, and its motivated me to bring out the Enthoo Primo! and build in it over the Christmas break haha. Can't wait! Even though I own the case, I still enjoyed watching this video man, you got yourself a new subscriber!
I'm barely about to do this! Ive been using the Phanteks Enthoo Pro tempered glass, and I love it, but now that I'm ready for liquid cooling build I will be bringing out the Primo!
I have this case in white too. Love it, except it's SO tall (with USB ports on top) that I can't get a USB stick into the thing if it's under my desk (that's how close it comes to the bottom of the desk). So, I just pulled it out a bit so I can access the front USB ports. For USB items which remain plugged-in, no issues. With a case this tall, it seems as if the USB ports should be on the front face, not the top. The front door has a magnetic closure, with a nice strong hold. Also, the case I have was not drilled properly for EATX. I could not get 9 standoffs in, just 6-7 so there were areas of the mobo which didn't feel sufficiently supported. I'm upgrading to a newer ATX mobo anyway so that will be resolved, but it did affect whether I wanted a new EATX mobo or not. Aside from those issues, I love the case, it was easy to work in, cable management is great with the hidden PSU, love the PWM fan controller, and I'm keeping it.
Godamit your timing is perfect. just started looking at this case AND found someone selling one with a waterloop AND you uploaded this review on the same godam day.
Its been out a while, but the enthoo pro is still one of those cases that I can honestly recommend with certainty. Simply put, if you can live with the size, and don't want to pay for a more expensive and normally larger caselabs system, you'll love it. On the other hand I really recommend most people who are only interested in gaming or light workstation tasks to look at some of the smaller mATX platforms available. These days you can get good mATX motherboards for basically every socket to gamers and workstations bar AM3+, and with duel titanX or r9 295x2 cards it honestly allows setups that are far enough into diminishing returns that you don't get much real world frame rate improvements or is past the economical ideals for most productivity tasks. There are just heaps of good mATX cases out their these days that offer everything from bizarrely small footprints (silverstone sg10) to loads of HDDs (fractal design node804 has up to 10) or fantastic support for open loop water cooling (both thermatake and caselabs have a ton of options).
Hello Wendel , Great vid mate . I'm in the process of building a water cooled SLI GTX 980 rig in a Phanteks Enthoo Pro , its a bit smaller case but it has everything you could need in an ATX case.
Great case the size really caught me when It got delivered it looks smaller in person I'll have to come over to the forum and post my build its a little old
nice video. I got a white enthoo luxe and its amazing. Wendel seemed afraid to say that he liked/loved the case. kinda weird.. kept saying "not bad" instead of good or great which struck me as odd. Phanteks are the best quality cases period..
Viner Cent 99% it was on purpose so it would look 'old-school' Honestly I didn't make a lot of the mistakes he made with no prior experience with the case. You have to be a grade a knob to think a company would make the doors permanently attached and think a pump bracket is for ssds.
I actually bought this case. Carrying it is a pain. I seen JayzTwoCents review it, and though that if I ever had a custom loop, this would be the case to do it in. One day I will have a custom loop. It is everything I wanted in a case, and you didn't show them the fan hub. Nor did you say it could take two 80mm wide 480mm long radiators. I have the green black version, and the fans are actually green leds. They dont even sell their fans with green leds yet. That was a pleasant surprise. Hey You didn't even mention the front panel had aluminum plating. I will post pics.
Just found the Phanteks Enthoo Primo on OCUK (which I buy most of my computer stuff from)... They have it in Black/Green & Black/Red for £199 Looks a nice case!!! :O)
When you said 60 pounds I thought "Wow bargain, I'm tempted".... but no, not £60 but near £200 in the U.K., Oh and it weights 27kg's. (27.21) ffs America possible you may use metric sometime *this* century, you missed the 20th :)
zexion no.VI Wait until the 380 comes out and compare it tot he 980ti 6GB and see how ya fee with performance versus cost adn your needs either NOW or if youre planning a monitor/resolution upgrade in the near future( near future = by christmas 2015)
zexion no.VI I say wait because Dell are already launching some prebuilt desktops with 300 series video cards in June and they officially mention on THEIR website(s) about the 380 vid card.
I like this case but the side panels are really cheap metal, like all Phanteks cases and they're customer service is rude and terrible, otherwise that I like the case.

I love my Enthoo Primo, will be doing custom loop in June to perfect it.

Just built a system in a Phanteks Enthoo pro recently and it is by far the best case I have ever purchased.

I love this case and I will have one. This is only only tower I can fit enough rads on the inside. My personal addition will be a graphics card brace
Godamit your timing is perfect. just started looking at this case AND found someone selling one with a waterloop AND you uploaded this review on the same godam day.
I have always used Corsair cases till I got this one!! I was a great case to build in and very mod friendly....... Well worth looking into...

Built a dual xeon lga1366 build in this case. The power supply cover is a nice touch.

Loving Phanteks more and more
This is my fav case, can't wait to do a build in it!
Suuuper nice case. Phanteks really are good at this despite how new they are to the market.
nice video. I got a white enthoo luxe and its amazing. Wendel seemed afraid to say that he liked/loved the case. kinda weird.. kept saying "not bad" instead of good or great which struck me as odd. Phanteks are the best quality cases period..
Please do a video on the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv line!
If you have any questions feel free to ask, I have exactly that case and I love it!
Viner Cent I also have the matx version of the case, a teksyndicate video would be cool, though.
Yes, after Linus completely sucked at his unboxing and just ruined the case, as he had not prepared it. He said so many wrong things there!
Viner Cent 99% it was on purpose so it would look 'old-school'

You should do a custome loop on this case. I have neverseen anything like that done by the tek team.
Awesome looking case. Nice review. Does it come in other colours?

More videos on this channel PLEASE.
Just found the Phanteks Enthoo Primo on OCUK (which I buy most of my computer stuff from)... They have it in Black/Green & Black/Red for £199 Looks a nice case!!! :O)
Desmond Birch Yea just found it at SCAN for £197. So tempting...
Felix Bank
Very tempting!!! Short on cash at the moment, so I'll have to wait. :O)
Desmond Birch Unless you have a massive mobo etc you will have hardware dwarfigism due to the size
Desmond Birch Ditto! I'll see at the end of the month & sell my Silent Base 800 :)
Gotta make sure I can fit my GTX 980 G1 in there too...
David Chen
Agreed!!! Mind you, I'm thinking more of a very highend build in a couple of year from now! :O)
I wish my HPTX-ICE Cubitek case was this well designed :P
When you said 60 pounds I thought "Wow bargain, I'm tempted"....

I ordered this case, how well does it block the dust out?
Those are some crazy good stock fans if those specs are even close to right.
Well, the company is phanteks.
They are killer fans
I have a Request. Can you do a Phanteks Enthoo Mini XL Case review? I'm going to buy one next week.
can I completely take off the guard next to the motherboard?
nice review
I need help should i buy another r9 270x and crossfire it, sell my 270x and get a 980 or wait til the 300 series comes out?
zexion no.VI Wait until the 380 comes out and compare it tot he 980ti 6GB and see how ya fee with performance versus cost adn your needs either NOW or if youre planning a monitor/resolution upgrade in the near future( near future = by christmas 2015)

Chronofusion the 380 and 380x are most likely going to be rebrands of the 290 and 290x, the new AMD GPUs will be the 390 and 390x.
zexion no.VI Wait if you can if you cant wait get the 980 or a R9 290/X would be better.
***** plus im Australian so the gtx 980 is like $600 us while over its like $200 more
If you are thinking about buying this case. Don't hesitate, it is more then worth the 200$.
Would be perfect for an epic hackintosh.
Would this fit a 980ti?
it would fit four of them
Folks it weighs about 40lbs not 60lbs - it's 17.9Kg.
Oh, and I've just discovered that the height is 605mm rather than 650mm which is what their website states.
Still think my D800 is better apart from the krap on button. and just as heavy
Wow!
It weighs 60 pounds! How on Earth can a computer case weigh 60 pounds?
I'm doing dumbbell presses with 40 pound dumbbells, 80 pounds all together.
Looks alot like the NZXT H630
I have a 4K fetish. Looks at the video res options........
60 pounds? Yep, that's not that expensive, surprising. Ah, 60 _pounds_? Man, that's heavy!
First!
Nobody cares
Gtx 960 or r9 280x 3gb? I can't decide
I like this case but the side panels are really cheap metal, like all Phanteks cases and they're customer service is rude and terrible, otherwise that I like the case.
the case weighs 38 lbs.....
Third!
2nd!
7TH
AND FIRST TO COMMENT
M4R10zM0113R Nope
Questioning your manhood? Don't buy this case...
