Sorry for the late response, been crazy around here. Thanks so much for checking. As much as I love SSDs, sometimes you need that HDD for mass storage and was worried about that. You're the best, keep up the great work!
Agree with below. Your reviews are top notch. Well paced, clear and cover most if not everything you might want to know. Only downside is you don't do enough of them. Moar please.
Really informative video and hugely helpful. Thanks for taking the time to put together this very detailed review.
It's a pleasure - glad you enjoyed it.
Liked and subbed does the 24pin power cable need an extension? Just looks like a very long path from the power supply to the 24 connector on the mother board?
Excellent review as usual! Love this case, it looks like it has fantastic potential :) I hope Phantek's do what Corsair did with the 900D (by making the 350D) and produce an mATX version for us folks who don't have quite the space or budget for something so monolithic!
Hey nice review... is it possible to remove the large plate that covers the hard drive cages?
So question, if you do a 480mm rad on the bottom, you have to remove both drive cages? There is no way to leave the top cage in place?
Truly impressive case, nice review Vortez :)
Can i take 5 bays brackets and put, an hdd in the base where the brackets slide in?
Good idea, moved the motherboard up and the power supply over, so it's taller and slimmer than the Corsair A540 (which had a lot of wasted space behind the tray, in my opinion). Phantek have done well here with this case, though I think the GPU room could be better.
Great review, as usual.
would you say this is strictly water cool only? or both air and water cool? so many fan mounts, I would not mind buying this is the airflow is excellent.
Both air and water :) I'm actually using this now for my personal rig - I liked it that much. I'm using it with air cooling.

Thanks so much for the fast reply, you just helped me make my final decision! I'm going to buy this case!
***** No worries at all -- you won't be disappointed, they are awesome cases. Feel free to take some pics when you get up and running and share on our Facebook page. Would be great to see it in action!
Is there a way to install slim 120/140mm fans in the back of the HDD cage with the HDDs installed? If so, can you tell me what I have to work with as far as measurement goes. BTW great review from you guys, I can't wait to get my hand on this wonderful case!
5 bays is just too much. Two/Three maximum. I'm building a new puter and doubt I'll use the one bay available on the case.
Case for the future once price starts going down. I'm hoping they release an updated version with less bays. Thanks for review *****
Speak for yourself. I already have them all filled, and could even use more. Things like dvd drives, bay reservoirs, fan controls, temperature sensors, card readers, and whatever else i forgotten can easily fill up those 5 bays.
WOW what a nice CASE!!!!
Thanks for the nice Review:D
great review
If this had a Corsair or Cooler Master badge on the front they you would be looking at £100 more - at this price point it absolutely kills both those companies premium offerings.
only need to remove bottom drive cage to mount 480 rad. more in dept revier at the mod zoo or the vortez writn review
Monsta radiator also fits in the bottom :)
Definitely made in same factory as nzxt switch 810.
nice
gpu has 13in + space is hd and watercooling bracket is removed. best case of 2013 and my next case =D
woah thats huge
This case blows the 900D away!! I would pay less money for more features other than that overpriced piece of junk...
