    Good Day
    Hi I just bought a jbl 3.1, but I dont get any sound from my center channel from bluetooth/ usb or TV , I did turn on surround sound on remote but still no luck
    My Smart TV is working from the normal Audio out jack and not HDMI or Optical, I'm still deciding on what TV I need to buy so I can understand the left and right channel from the TV but if I play music from a normal usb flash drive or anything from my phone (Bluetooth) , isnt the center channel suppose to work?
    ....or am I doing something wrong?
    Any Help Will be much appreciated
    Kind Regards

    I'm wondering about connecting a sounder to my TV using an optical audio cable vs wirelessly. I have already hidden all the cables going to the back of the TV in the wall. I'd prefer not to have a visible cable, or having to add another wire to the channel in the wall. With my Samsung TV that I bought in 2015, I'm looking at a Samsung soundbar, hoping to avoid the need for another remote.

    • @djected__
      @djected__ 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn't hear a difference when I hooked up my soundbar with the optical cable. The only reason I did it still was so I can use TWO sound systems simultaneously. One is connected via Bluetooth and the other Y the audio optical cable. Now I have 2 subwoofers going. A little hack there for those of you who don't wanna throw out your old sound system.

    • @8888760
      @8888760 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Could be a few things. The room setup, the audio settings,or even just the quality of speakers. LG makes some good quality speakers while i cant speak much for Onn since i usually avoid onns products, but thats just a preference as well as thinking their quality isnt as good as something like LG.

    My big question is if you have a 3.1 soundbar and you're watching 5.1+ content (on Netflix for example), is it going to try and push those extra channels out of your 3.1 and muddy the sound, or do those extra channels just get cut out?

    • @matthewelerick648
      @matthewelerick648 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well yes it will same with a 2.1 soundbar it split the dialogue between the 2 so yes it will sound muddy or it might cancel the extra channels out

      A true cinema home theater needs: big room, big and powerful speakers and a lot of expensive subwoofers. Ton of acoustic treatment and isolation to dont bother neighborhood. If you are not going to do this, just buy a soundbar stereo 2.1 and enjoy

My bedroom is a square so everything sounds good in there. Our 3rd soundbar is my daughters so who cares lol. But why would my lg sound better. Now the 5.1.4 onn sounds so good in my room. • @shayslay3416

      In the video, he said it means a right, center, and left speaker (3), 1 subwoofer (1), and 2 upward speakers like for the ceiling (2). Hence 3.1.2.
      He Literally explained that before the first minute and a half of the video.

  • @Luxsomar

    I'm curious why you're using the word "soundbar" as if it refers to the whole surround speaker system. Talking about "5.1 soundbar", for example, wouldn't seem to make sense, since not all the channels in the "5.1" are going to be dealt with by the soundbar. Why not use the word "surround" in most of these places where you say "soundbar" (unless your're talking about the actual soundbar component)?

    Only downside with soundbars you cannot control the speakers individually as in volume that's why you're better off buying a surround sound receiver and speakers
