Blender & Substance Painter → Making of "Warehouse 4"/Power

  • A timelapse of two streams where I made "Warehouse 4" or "Power" as some people also like to call it.
    In the first part of the video I am spending most of my time getting the measurements & proportions somewhat accurate. I then make the low poly version of the building and clean up the geo. After that I make the high poly version of the building and bake those details onto the low poly version in Substance Painter. Most of the remaining part of the video is spent texturing.

    Awesome process, although Im curious about how you managed to make such a convincing concrete material, it looks like from the game, very good

      Thanks! The textures in this video were done using Substance Painter. I added effects into a smart shader until I thought it looked similar. I then bake the high poly detail (which is just the bevels between the blocks) onto the low poly solid piece to give it that blocky effect without increasing the polycount.
