Incredible work! The level of realism and atmosphere is breathtaking.
Thanks 😊
1:52 aaaand, we're done. hehehe hey, that's the low-poly version for people still using an Amiga 500 computer.
True man :)
Bro Seriously???? 😲😯
This video is absolutely mesmerizing! The attention to detail and storytelling are exceptional
Thank you 😊
@@PietroChiovaro you're welcome :)
Bravo! This video is a masterclass in capturing the essence of the medieval era 👏👏
Thank you John 😊
Amazing work ! How many hours you have spend to do this ?
Thank you! I spent around 50 hours (render time included)
I watched most of this at .25 speed. Some of this was amazing. Like when you see a magician and you don't know how it's done. I know some of this but some I don't. Seems like nothing but shortcut keys and edit mode modeling to get all the buildings done. Thx for filming this. Lots of cool info to be learned at .25. :)
Thank you so much, I love to get feedback like yours, the full process took around 14-18 hours so yep .25 is like the normal speed :)
@PietroChiovaro I think it turned out really great. I really like the fire in the torches. I like how you put a light near them to simulate the fire lighting up the walls. With my abilities, I think it would take me About a month to do that. Adding textures Still baffles me with all that uv stuff.
Remains me of my firsts project, which means that is just question of time, patience and constancy. YOU CAN DO IT!
@PietroChiovaro I should practice simple uv unwrap and texture stuff till I understand how it works. Sometimes the image 8snt there in left when I go to uv exit w8ndow. No idea what is wrong but I thought clicking uv edit would bring up the image at left so you could move verts around scale, rotate etc.
@@TruthSurge To preview a texture (not necessarily the one you use in your materials for your object) pick it with that pictureicondropdown in the UV-editing tab or select a new one. If you exit blender and the texture is not used anywhere it might disappear from threre. To prevent this use that shield right next to the picturename (Fake User). I hope I understood your problem. And also click that icon with the two arrows pointing in opposite directions (right next to the icons for vertex-, edge-, faceselect in your UV Editing Tab). It shows your UVs even if you have not selected anything. If you haven't marked seams and unwrapped the object yet the UVs are compressed to a point which might be a reason for you not finding the UVs, too.
I am curios if you use any catalog like Blender Kit at @13:35, as there are multiple models and materials available for rapid texturing.
No, most of the models comes from Polyhaven or are manually created, even if actually Blender Kit would have been a good alternative to speed up the process 😊
remember guys ... it all starts with a cube CUBE SUPERMACY!!
Ahahah true!! :D
I am new to blender where can i find all those tools, i mean the trees and chair. I cant find them in blender lol i was about to buy one on the 3d open market.
Yes, but it requires a nice gpu
@@PietroChiovaro thank you, i use 3060ti and cinema 4D is going so slow
Amazing ❤. How Do you make this stuff it is so magnificent.
Thank u very much 🙏
@@PietroChiovaro Infatti sto proprio a Nord-Ovest :) bellissimo lavoro comunque vorrei imparare anch'io 🥺
Gracias, more or less 48 hours
What about a tutorial explaining your operations..... it's very hard to follow what your doing at this speed even by slowing it down.......
Beautiful work BTW and thanks for sharing....
so cool! where did you get the people and knights from?
Thank you, I created by myself the main knight while the other models are from mixamo
@@PietroChiovaro thank you!
Thank you for your wonderful video. I have a question. What is the purpose of overlapping the objects at 2:10? It happens several times after that, so I'm curious.
After blocking out the scene, I duplicated the model (which has all the models merged) a couple of times and separated two buildings to create detailed versions of them, starting from the basic shapes
@@PietroChiovaro Thank you for your reply. Do you mean to duplicate it in stages and make it easier to change it if you don't like it?
@@土井洸 exactly 👍
@@PietroChiovaro I learned a lot. Thank you very much.
I just saw the one you created 5 years ago (is still amazing) but this time is incredible, you have a real talent Pietro
Grazie, I appreciate your feedback 😊
How much VRAM ure using?(graphics card memory)
12 GB
Always amazing final result and interesting creation process!
Always appreciate your feedbacks :)
Come sempre un piacere vedere cose del genere
Grazie Silvano 😊
Takes someone special to create such a thing. Gotta have a creative mind first. I don’t have one.
You can definitely do it! 💪
Please, what tips do you advise me to be able to design anything that comes in my imagination and I implement it.
how much vram do you need to render such scene? Sry for weird question :3 I just want to start learn blender and can't decide how much vram is minimum for first few years of learning
That’s a good question, for a scene like this probably around 12gb but to start 6-8gb is more than enough :)
"hey, you! you're finally awake" (other than that skyrim reference it looks very good :D)
Thank you so much, loved Skyrim :-)
THIS IS INSANE!! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?! ITS SO NICE!!
Thank you so much, it’s just passion :)
just subscribed your channel, well can i request 3d picture like this? i will take the landscape from the place of my country in Google Earth, would you?
Wow already the first second I cannot do the square you made 😅 this is gonna be long 😩
Take your time; it’s just a matter of consistency. The important thing is to understand what you’re doing so you can apply it to other projects as well :)
Sir
0 to beginner one full video animation make video in blender
:-)
and yup you're not sane keep it up i guess but know that im jealous😶
How much time average you spend for make....
seems pretty basic, my little sister could do better than this
Vro really needed thanks a lot
the cannons look like brought in from 17th or 18th century. only that detail I would point out.
Muchas gracias 🙏
that gived me the witcher viber, i really loved that work
Thank you man :)
:DD
Would be amazing to have access to the project file
I really want to do this but I haven’t even mastered the donut 😔
You can do it, keep trying, is just a matter of time!
That's crazy bro, Excelent job my dude
Thank you :)
just think about how much of this you could do with Geometry Nodes, too! Those roofs, for example.
Definitely, but I was looking for something “universal” that can be used in other software without issues
@@PietroChiovaro 🤔 i think doing it in Blender and exporting it is universal enough! Haha!
I was speechless, Impressed!!!
MAGNIFICENT👏👏👏👏
Thank you so much 😊
Can I ask you please, how long did it take you to make this wonder?
From the very beginning phase up to the render (render time included) around 50 hours
Curious, was this done in one day or did u take breaks and continued next day?
Nice question, It took about 3 days to complete the project, not because it couldn’t have been done in a day, but because it was essential to take breaks and reflect on the work. This allowed me to think about improvements, fixes, and the overall look and vibe I wanted to achieve for the scene. Taking breaks is crucial to avoid rushing the process, losing important details, and making poor artistic decisions after working for 7-9 hours straight.
how many days you took to make this stunning 😍
Thank you so much! Roughly around the 50 hours
Sei incredibile, grandissimo!
Can we import this map to Unreal Engine 5.2 ?
Sure, just some minor fixes
Hello. Tell me please, where did you get the characters for the scene? Did you do all of them yourself?
Hi thank you for your question, I did the knight in the front, the other characters are from mixamo
@@PietroChiovaro thank you
Hello Pietro! Nice timelapse! Which plug-in did you use to import the models like the trees and textures? I’m using kit ops for smaller things like screws and similar but it is useful for smaller pieces of an object.
Thank you there, I haven’t used any add-on it’s just the asset browser of Blender :)
@@PietroChiovaro Thank you so much I’ll try to find this one!
Can't imagine what blender version 36 will look like 😮
mantap jiwa bro
Terima kasih!
Marvelous... As a man who want to learn Blender. Makes me feel powerless...
You can do it man! :)
How did you make the roof top triangle like that? when I try it brings up the line only (im new)
You did amazing. It's as if you stopped doing it for a couple of days... :)
Yep, at some point I did, I think is important to get back to the project with a different point of view
@@PietroChiovaro so you only use Blender as a hobby?
Wow excellent job bro... I like it. Keep going.
Thank you 😊
broo why not continue its like boom ! zero to beutiful
Thank you 😊
What the best render settings for videos like this especially the videos
Eggscellent
How much real time it tooks?
Thank you, around 18 hours
Absolutely great. I have to watch it in Slow Motion again. It's much to learn in Blender for me. Thank you
Happy to hear that :)
Incredible work! The attention to detail, and the lighting are superb. Thank you for sharing your vision with us.
Thank you for your feedback:)
your fun with IVY Gen looked very familiar!
Actually most of the ivy on balconies are plane textures, is the best way to get more performance, ivy gen is quite heavy
@@PietroChiovaro ha! I did the same. Ivy gen at first, then back to textures after tweak hell :)
wasn't expecting an animation with sound design🙌🙌🙌
Is a must :-)
It's mindblowing. 😍 Where can we get this fireshader plane thing? 🤩
Thank you Julia, it’s a shader I created, maybe I could do a tutorial, is quite simple :)
@@PietroChiovaro This would be awesome. I would subdivide images as planes and duplicate this like crazy around the z axis. I think there are better ways to do it. Please show us. 😊
@@juliaalder2007 😉
can you provide me pf ?
wow!!!!!!!! this is absolutely breathtaking work!!!!
could this be done in version 3.3?
Sure, of course, thank you :)
Great! How long did it take you to do all this?
Thank you, it took me around 18 hours :)
Bro, no words for your effort ❤❤❤, you filled me with hope, to do what we want 😊 thanks bro, proud of u. Please make tutorials for beginners of blender. 🤟🔥🔥🔥
Thank you so much, your feedback is a motivation for me as well :)
very very good.
Thank you :)
Hello, Mr. Pietro! I see on your website that you've had ten years of experience with 3d modeling and animation, including virtual reality. Would you be interested in designing a neighborhood for a possible VR game? It's where I grew up, and I would be willing to share any information you would require. Including my house's blueprints for reference. Thank you for all the helpful tutorials, and I hope to hear from you soon!
Thank you for getting in touch but I’m currently fully booked. Perhaps you could look on Fiverr where you can find a lot of artists and their availability
This video was so easy to follow and watch and didn’t feel draining to watch like most tutorial videos in blender, I could watch more content like this going over the basic controls and things done instead of deep dives like livestreams that take so long to learn the controls. At the end of the day whoever watches these videos gotta make the stuff themselves and just mess around with the sliders and all the controls you mentioned so not going into depth about them is a huge bonus in my opinion.
awesome :3!.
Thanks!!
Amazing! 👌
All the best for next project cool
Thank you, I’m already working on it with a special guest 🤐
Bastante detalles
Novigrad vibes, great work.
Thank you man :)

Congratulazioni per il video.

playback speed is too fast . unable to follow modelling steps
You can reduce the speed on TH-cam :)
I wish, i will be that good one day
You will, just make sure to keep learning and try :)
