Why Everyone is Talking About Horton Creek Trail

A quick video review of Horton Creek Trail in Tonto Forest. This is a popular trail and is pretty trail to hike. The creek runs along side most of the trail and sounds awesome. The trail itself is through a pine forest so is shaded in the am and smells wonderful. I did not finish the trail. It is about 9 miles out and back and rated as hard on Alltrails. There are some very rocky parts. In addition there are some steep inclines toward the end. I did about 5.5 miles and it was pretty.
