Once several years ago, I was invited to a “girl’s night out” by a friend of mine. She invited myself and some friends of hers to her apartment. Each of us only knew her, the hostess. We did not know each other. The purpose was for my friend to introduce us to each other. We each brought a covered dish, sat and ate, talked and laughed. At one point one of the ladies asked me if I wanted my fortune told. Before I could say no, she pulled out a Tarot deck from her purse and began flipping some cards. Whatever she said only lasted a few minutes and she went on to read the cards for the other guests. About 2 months later I visited another friend’s church. After services, a lady there came up to me. I had never met this lady before, and this was my first time visiting my friend's church. The lady asked me if I had been around anyone fortune-telling, anything involving the occult. I had forgotten about the Tarot cards, so I said no. But the lady was insistent. She said she saw 2 demons with me who were connected to fortune-telling who were waiting to destroy me. Then I remembered the Tarot cards. She began to rebuke these demons whom she said backed away from me and disappeared through the walls at the back of the church as she prayed. I give this testimony as a warning ⚠ to young people. Please stay away from ANYTHING that is not of God. Evil spirits can transfer. They come “to steal, kill, and destroy.” (John 10:10)
Years ago, I called a psychic and she knew things that she couldn't have known. It frightened me so bad that I understood then that psychic readings are evil.

I still celebrate Halloween, have practiced Kundalini Yoga and other Yoga for most of my life, go to native American sweat ceremonies, and have attended Indian devotional chanting for many years. I'm fine and life has treated me well. As someone who doesn't believe in hell, I do not fear it. Heaven and hell to me are states of mind. We have a choice in that. If scripture allows one to connect with God that is beautiful. If nature allows that, it is also beautiful. If meditation allows it, that is also divine. God is too big to fit inside of one tiny finite, dogmatic box.

I changed my mind. A long time ago I thought about celebrating Halloween I was heavily into law of attraction, crystals, and into spirituality that did not involve God. It was essentially minor relations to witchcraft, I made the conscious decision to derive from this and as I am on not my first walk, but my forever walk in Christ.

In 1987 I was renting a house in North Richmond on Londonderry Road New South Wales. I was sharing a house with a lesbian woman who prayed to an Egyptian deity. I thank God for your testimony. My husband is from the hallway room from Bethlehem and he came to America. He was very disturbed by all the Halloween decorations that were everywhere and I grew up seeing it so didn't affect me as much, though I never did like this very unholy day. And he asked a clear question "why would anybody who says they're Christian want to celebrate a day of darkness and death?"

What she is saying is the truth as a young boy of 11 years old back in 1974 while my family all lived in The state of Connecticut We lived in Hartford and I went to spend the day at my older brothers girlfriends house in east Hartford across the Connecticut River as his girlfriend had a younger sister and wanted someone that Saturday to hang out with and just play with I was asked and then invited over to hang out with her younger sister my age to play outside and to play some board games later until my brothers date was over at around 8 pm and he was to pick me up later to take me back home after his date he was 18 years old and they went to a movie and a restaurant after before picking me up. Wow Let me say What I witnessed in that home was beyond my comprehension as a boy. These people were upper middle class my family was working class folks who were not poor but not rich either we did well but not on these folks Level let me say I am not sure if my brother knew or not about these peoples beliefs or practices but his girlfriends parents were outright practicing warlocks and witches including the young girl my age who was supposed to be playing games with me and just hanging out but these people were outright evil and although I was not a Christian or attend church or my family sadly so at that time in my life I absolutely believed in a sovereign god and creator as my uncle was a minister of the gospel and would talk to me about the love of the lord and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary and I just knew I wanted nothing to do with these people period or there evil and vile practices and told them so what I witnessed in that house in broad daylight was not Hollywood or make believe but in your face and very real happenings I saw a picture remove itself from a wall in the very hall I and this girl I was hanging out with stood then she giggled I was terrified beyond comprehension as it floated down the hallway of this house the smash down onto the floor. Iran back to her bedroom and said I’m getting out of her house and waiting outside until my brother gets there to pick me up and so I ran down the steps of this house as it was a two story house and when I got down to the bottom of the steps thats when I saw her parents and other older family guests and other family members all sitting down on the floor in there huge living room floor with black robes on and burning different colored candles while chanting with a giant star drawn on the floor that I later learned was a pentagram. I lived in the country and never celebrated Halloween. And I never felt like I was missing out. I never celebrated with my own children and they are all fine and do not care. 3 years ago we moved into a cul-de-sac so I let my kids walk around and get candy. That night we all got the worst flu of our life! So we never did that again and we have nothing to do with that horrible day!
I've had these discussion with a friend. It took me a long time to stop celebrating even after I wanted to stop because I didn't want to take fun away from the neighborhood kids. When I learned more about what the children (and adult) victims go through on that night I just couldn't do it anymore. When I was younger it was my favorite holiday now I hate it & keep my lights off so they don't come. My whole neighborhood decorates & celebrates. At least I don't have kid, but my friend does & she knows it wrong, but for her kids and grandkids she still celebrates like I was. She told me they always experience bad luck afterwards. I just wonder if this happens to everyone, but they just don't notice or associate it to their celebrating this. Although I was raised a Christian, and I went to church every week as a teenager (I was even an altar boy for a year), I was fascinated by the occult when I was in my 20s and 30s. It started with consulting tarot card readers, psychics and then I became fascinated with witchcraft, the occult, Satanism, black magic, white magic... And those evil things lead to more evil. I became a sex addict, I loved watching horror movies, I played computer games for hours and hours ('killing people'..) ... I started wondering if I could really 'sell' my soul to the devil to get rich. But the past 10 years I started to leave all that behind, and I felt more and more drawn to Christ. I started praying more, I read the Bible, ... And I had a sincere change of heart. That's when I really started to feel the 'presence' of Christ. Now, I can't stand watching horror movies anymore. It makes me feel uncomfortable, nauseous even. I also completely stopped playing PC games. The sex addiction was the hardest to get rid of. But Jesus saved me! All those years I was blaming GOD for everything that went wrong in my life, not seeing that it was ME who was attracting evil things by doing evil things.. GOD is GREAT. And what Jesus did for us, is priceless. He must come first in our lives. He deserves our love, our respect, our gratitude,. We owe him our souls!

I went to a Christian school and church on Sunday (in Maine, USA) and our CHURCH funded and hosted halloween parties every year. My Mom dressed us up in mostly things that we had around the house and we did all of the things that people do on halloween. I remember dressing up as Cinderella using Moms jewelry and fancy clothes and my brother was.. I don't know... a pirate or a cowboy. We bobbed for apples and went for hay rides and there was even a "haunted house" set up in town. It was fun! Now I see why it was no huge jump for me to become Wiccan. It ruined me. I had frequent demonic nightmares and sometimes still do about demons trying to oppress me (But I just call on Jesus and they go away.). THANK GOD! that I learned this and came back to Jesus BEFORE I was able to have children. Otherwise I would have been a stumbling block for them. My husband and I no longer celebrate halloween. Our child knows why, and doesn't even beg to participate. We do our Bible Study most days as part of school and she gets enough treats through out the year where she's not feeling left out of the candy loop. We get strange looks when strangers or even family members ask what she's going to be for halloween, and she tells them that we don't celebrate halloween, because it's all about the M word, and what would Jesus do? We wouldn't celebrate halloween with Jesus, so we shouldn't be doing it at all. It's so good to have this kind of fellowship, even if it's via TH-cam. Open, honest, speaking the truth in love. I came to this conclusion, too. Halloween was always my favorite holiday but I realize now that it’s an excuse for people to embody and glorify evil. It’s meant to be a solemn vigil for the dead. As a Catholic, that’s how I observe it.

It's still not a holy day for a reason...but it's worth celebrating I think, in a way that befits celebrating Jesus, God coming to Earth in human form for us. But not focusing on Jesus as a baby ....he grew up... The Catholic Church is strangely obsessed with babies. The baptisms, the cherubs that are non-biblical... And they took over the day of celebrating the sun god to celebrate Jesus' birth on the 25th. They were persecuting Christians at the time as well. So needed something to sort of hide that. We just had our first non-Hallowen and it was odd but really nice. It was easy since there's a day to talk about what Martin Luther did etc. But many things about Easter that aren't ok and Christmas....will be difficult. As a family we are sussing out what we feel is acceptable or not. We already hardly did "Santa" stuff.... It's always been creepy to us. Lol So that's nice. We decided to have nostalgic stuff still but it has to be lesser than our relationship with God. Or else it gets the boot.
@@ari3lz3pp baptism is Biblical. The Greek Orthodox Church has been around just as long as the Roman Church and they celebrate Christmas and Easter/Pascha(Greek for Passover). Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater

I'm in the same boat as you actually. Before becoming Born Again, I was heavily into Wicca, the occult, spiritualism, paranormal investigation, mediumship, etc., etc. Every year halloween was a time for rituals and casting spells, not for dressing up in costumes and going to parties. There's some very dark, evil stuff connected to that holiday and now as a Born Again believer, I have chosen to get as far from my past as possible. Sadly people have no idea what REALLY goes on during halloween while they're out partying, getting candy, watching horror flicks, and so on. It's a truly dark, evil, satanic day and no Christian should EVER even consider celebrating it. Even if churches are claiming to throw "Christian halloween Parties", DO NOT PARTAKE! Run as far away as you possibly can! No church should be throwing such parties. Instead the best thing to do as the Bride of Christ is go into intense prayer on that day. Don't even hand out candy to kids. The enemy has cleverly gotten people to believe this holiday is all about having fun. If people only knew what type of sick ritualistic things happened behind closed doors, they would boycott the holiday.

I encourage you to read Romans 14, this teaches us that we should follow our own internal conscience. "Nothing is unclean for those who follow the Lord" but if you believe it's wrong, than it is wrong for you; but it may not be wrong for someone else because it is about your own belief and conscience. "One person considers one day more sacred than another while another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord..." No one can tell you what is and isn't right or holy, trust yourself and your intentions.

I thank you for being open to the dangers of Halloween. For a while I was celebrating Halloween as a Christian and I thought it wasn't very much of a big deal because I thought God would be ok with me celebrating Halloween, plus I have even seen my so-called Christian friends celebrating it. But then I realized that Halloween was a day where witches and wizards called the Druids opened there beliefs to sacrificing females to open up to demonic worship. Plus all other witches went around and murdered either people or cats to open up to demonic activity. That's when I realized that you can't serve God and the devil at the same time. God is not pleased when we celebrate a day where demonic activity was on the rise and still is.

So just getting dressed up for candy or partying makes us evil? Watching horror makes us evil? What are your thoughts on manifestations, psychic readings of the future, seeing the past while meditating but still pray regularly to God thanking him for all our blessings? My experience has shown some of the worst people around, are in church regularly and say they are Christians. What about some of the religions out there who lie and convince people just so they can control them and have them give money? To help in a food pantry, a soup kitchen, help people fill out papers to get into housing , or get benifits and food stamps, help a woman and her kids get away from an abusive spouse….. Yashua told us to treat others as we want to be treated….. wouldnt t you want food, housing, help if you needed it?
Christians aren't better than anyone else, they're just forgiven. Just because a witch may be a nice person, doesn't make magic arts a good thing. Dressing up as a witch doesn't make a child bad, but it wins their heart over to that sort of thing. Watching a horror movie doesn't make you bad, but it helps desensitise you to horror.
People are people. If you are in this with the Lord then you walk before Jesus not people. People are humans and will always hurt. Be the change yiu want to see. I find it interesting that many Christians who spend time with the Lord daily and spread His gospel seem to not have qualms about decorating for Halloween or trick-or-treating or costumes. But all Christians I know who played around with dark things before becoming Christians seem to be sensitive to the extra darkness on that night and they stay away from it. The campus ministry I was a part of always did a costume harvest party near Halloween. It was a good opportunity for ministry outreach as it was an easy thing to invite non-Christian friends to. There was a very thin line between harvest party and Halloween party, but it was at these holiday parties that I first met Christians actually living out their faith and decided to finally explore my own belief in God, eventually coming to understand Christ's salvation choosing to follow Him. What are your thoughts on Christians using the Halloween season for ministry opportunities, like what I just described--are the lines too easily crossed? And I think we must ask ourselves as Christians, what is it exactly we are celebrating when we do celebrate Halloween? I don't know any Christian who celebrates it that thinks they are celebrating evil, but I do wonder if they have thought about what they are celebrating then? Can one really just have it be a costume and candy day?
God's Word is specific that we should not partake in any way from the evil one’s plots. Isaiah 52:11 “Depart! Depart! Many ex witches are warning people about the dangers of Halloween. Involving yourself in Halloween (Samhain) and dark magic rituals and saying you're doing that for Jesus seems a bit backwards. Halloween, Christmas, Easter too. Man loves his traditions and all the family gatherings. They don't want to be disowned by family which happens. A lot of families only see each other on these holidays & they don't want to be left out, so justify by saying God knows my intent. What if your family celebrated your birthday every year on the birthday of someone you hated? Would their intent of doing it for you make it OK? We should not be celebrating our Savior's birthday on a pagan holiday; he gave His life for us! He deserves ALL our respect. It took me years to get people to stop giving me gifts and harrassing me. I send them cards on Thanksgiving expressing my gratitude for them being in my life instead. We should not need an excuse to have a family gathering. Maybe families could do a special prayer day for those who are suffering & for others to see the truth with the kids. Then reinforce their actions by taking them to their favorite place or making their favorite meal, (on a diffferent day or the food place will be celebrating too) letting them know how proud you are of them. Someone has to break the cycle & it has to start somewhere.

I was raised as a Christian and after losing my way, I got involved in the New Age beliefs, Law of Attraction, crystals, full moon rituals, etc. I felt so “weird” while going through this period. I started to feel a pull back to God, and a few months ago, I prayed to God for the first time in ages and asked Him to show me that He’s real. A month later, after being told I’d never conceive again after my miracle child born 8 years before, a month before I turned 40, I found out I was pregnant. I’m now 22.5 weeks along with a healthy baby boy. I guess He proved He was real!

My grandmother was from Manchester (England). She was a Christian who loved the Lord Jesus Christ. Early-on, my grandmother told me about the witches of Endor and Simon the sorcerer. I received Christ as my Savior when I was six years old. When I was a teenager, I prayed for Divine discernment and wisdom. I had few friends because of my faith. I lovingly warned people to stay away from the "dark arts" and not to give in to Halloween and what's behind it. I keep in remembrance, "What communion hath darkness with light?" Dear child of God, I am a christian and believe what you say....I have experienced spiritual things even cast out spirits from people...but there was something that happened to me 2 1/2 weeks ago. I was going into a store and at the door was a very tall man .he opened the door for me I looked up to thank him and his countenance changed. I did not know why. I went inside and heard this irritating unnerving whistling. It was from that guy. Where I was he did not seem dar from it. Always whistling that horrific whistle. I could not take it anymore, I found and empty aisle and quietly said,"I rebuke you satan in Jesus name!" Immediately that whistling stopped and the guy gone. A week in a half later I was in the same store and that same guy came in he looked at me I looked at him he rolled his eyes and left, there was something lingering in the air after he left it caused me not to walk right. So I spoke quietly in tongues and I was no longer bothered by it but I still could feel it around in the distance of me.....you precious child are covered in the blood and have full authority over the enemy but I think you already know that...Lord Bless sister in Christ Jesus.

Good luck! I had to be the "black sheep" of the family in this one. I know my father is convicted. My mother is as well, but is afraid of breaking traditions that seem harmless on the outside. But the way is broad that leads to destruction.

I grew up Christian and am raising my children in Christ. I used to enjoy Halloween, particularly putting fun costumes together. Several years ago, I began to feel uneasy about the darkness that is so prevalent surrounding it. I’ve been trying to ‘phase it out’ with my kids, then I started seeing videos by ex-witches. From now on, we have a hard no on Halloween stuff. Even our church sponsored chili fest and trunk or treat. It felt good but weird to do absolutely nothing. Looking forward to doing it again next year.

Your story is very similar to mine, I was also an occultist and things ended very badly for me as well. It’s very tricky and enticing at first, but then they get you trapped, I was completely trapped and terrorized by these “ things “ and nothing and no one could help me. The most terrible things were happening to me one after another and everyone was powerless to help me, everyone around me was shocked and how many awful things can happen to one person- things that happen to people maybe once in a decade were happening to me every week. Insomnia for days, car stolen, car windows smashed a different time , pet died on Christmas Day, weird neighbour started stalking me to the point police involved - he was completely fixated on me to the point that it was creeping the police dispatcher out- had to move 3 times in 3 years, a dog bit me, another dog tried to attack me through the window, my bed vibrating so I couldn’t sleep, car wouldn’t start, bank cards stopped working for no reason, even the bank couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t work, both headlights went out at the same time in my car- TWICE- the mechanic said there’s nothing wrong with the car that the headlights should just burn out at the same time, more than once. I would get people screaming at me undeserved, obsessed and following. I tried everything to make this stop, I mean everything. The only thing that made it stop was surrender and begging god and Jesus to help me. And, it’s all stopped.

It's getting worse every year. Now, people decorate their homes and doorways as though it's Christmas. The costumes are now very sinister. Masks in Morrisons were so frightening I couldn't look at them. Poor babies and toddlers being born into this world! No wonder they suffer nightmares!

Years ago, as a child before the Harry Potter days, my mother sat me down and said to never, ever practice witchcraft. She emphasized: “have a healthy respect for it and leave it alone”. We were not church goers or religious, both committed to the Lord now, but still she honed this in. We were not allowed to have ouiji boards or watch “Devil movies” like The Exorcist, etc. Of corse, access to information was not readily available as it is now. Thanks be to God. My best friends aunt/guardian was a witch in a coven and it was very dark, I found out years later. So we knew these practices were around.

Hello Little Sister. ( i can say that, i'm 63) I appreciate what you're exposing. Thank you. I was a five minute final attunement away from being deemed, Reiki Master. I felt something in my spirit that told me not to go through with this final part. I don't know what is involved with that last attunement, or what i avoided, but i've never been sorry. Thank you for speaking out about this, but unfortunately there will be so many people who won't accept the truth about Halloween. I speak from experience. I was involved in Witchcraft and the occult for 7 years of my life. To my absolute and utter shame, I had been a Christian, but I still felt drawn to these things and was told by others who were also involved that the two were 'compatible'. I deep down had doubts about that, but I was so strongly drawn to witchcraft and drawn to the power of it, that I pushed my doubts aside and threw myself fully into it. I experienced some 'good' times and friendships, but I also experienced some hair-raising and terrifying things, and this was especially so when I wanted to leave Witchcraft. I am so grateful that God never let me go. He kept fighting for my soul and kept drawing me back and making it so hard for me to fully and 'happily' give myself over to evil. There was always a conflict raging inside me. As I started making attempts to walk away from the occult, a lot of frightening things happened. Satan showed his true colours and I saw it was all lies. It was NOT 'good' magick it was NOT 'white' witchcraft, it was NOT harmless. With the help of more mature Christians, I was able to finally be freed from the hold it had on me. We burned all my occult items and as they were thrown into the fire we made in a large drum, they literally flew around inside, violently hitting the sides of the drum and the fire flared so high. This occurred even to my athame and other objects that were metal or crystal. I still am 'triggered' today by the sight of crystals or the smell of incense. Anyone out there who is thinking of messing with this stuff....and Halloween is a part of it, please, please, PLEASE DON'T...it's NOT A GAME.

When I was little my mother was involved in these types of things. A rooster was killed in front of me, and there was a lot of blood all over. All I did was cry for this creature as that woman slashed the throat, blew cigar smoke, and blew alcohol on it. The lady told my mother to take me away, and never take me back there. She didn't like the way I cried for the little rooster as it died. My mother was angry at me, and through out the years she beat me, and tortured me. She took me to this man's house where he had a decomposed man's head. On it was a candle. You could see the skin was almost off. and the bones of the face was showing. The smell of decayed flesh in this man's house was really awful. My mother asked the man where he got the head from. He said that he knew someone from a cemetary that dug the body then decapitated the body. We left, and I learned a lesson from that. I learned not to believe in anything, or anyone. I learned that when you believe in anything you're heading into things that are not going to be welcoming at all. This is why I keep my mind free of the unexplained. Free of Bibles, and other scriptures, because even on the news ugly things come out from those places that people visit to get on their knees. Going from believing in one thing for enlightenment to believing other things is not ideal at all. Not many stay in one place. Many are leaving beliefs behind, and taking control of their own minds when they hear those people telling them what to do. Who to talk to, and taking their money. They use fear tactics for retaining memberships into their groups. They claim if you leave that you will burn in a place where a man is wearing horns, red suit, and a 3 hook fork laughing at you. This is all I heard of. I stayed away from these places as well. I don't want to believe like they do. No one can make me either.

Once several years ago, I was invited to a “girl’s night out” by a friend of mine. She invited myself and some friends of hers to her apartment. Each of us only knew her, the hostess. We did not know each other. The purpose was for my friend to introduce us to each other. We each brought a covered dish, sat and ate, talked and laughed. At one point one of the ladies asked me if I wanted my fortune told. Before I could say no, she pulled out a Tarot deck from her purse and began flipping some cards. Whatever she said only lasted a few minutes and she went on to read the cards for the other guests. About 2 months later I visited another friend’s church. After services, a lady there came up to me. I had never met this lady before, and this was my first time visiting my friend's church. The lady asked me if I had been around anyone fortune-telling, anything involving the occult. I had forgotten about the Tarot cards, so I said no. But the lady was insistent. She said she saw 2 demons with me who were connected to fortune-telling who were waiting to destroy me. Then I remembered the Tarot cards. She began to rebuke these demons whom she said backed away from me and disappeared through the walls at the back of the church as she prayed. I give this testimony as a warning ⚠ to young people. Please stay away from ANYTHING that is not of God. Evil spirits can transfer. They come “to steal, kill, and destroy.” (John 10:10)

I still celebrate Halloween, have practiced Kundalini Yoga and other Yoga for most of my life, go to native American sweat ceremonies, and have attended Indian devotional chanting for many years. I'm fine and life has treated me well. As someone who doesn't believe in hell, I do not fear it. Heaven and hell to me are states of mind. We have a choice in that.
If scripture allows one to connect with God that is beautiful. If nature allows that, it is also beautiful. If meditation allows it, that is also divine.

I thank God for your testimony. My husband is from the hallway room from Bethlehem and he came to America. He was very disturbed by all the Halloween decorations that were everywhere and I grew up seeing it so didn't affect me as much, though I never did like this very unholy day. And he asked a clear question "why would anybody who says they're Christian want to celebrate a day of darkness and death?"

What she is saying is the truth as a young boy of 11 years old back in 1974 while my family all lived in The state of Connecticut We lived in Hartford and I went to spend the day at my older brothers girlfriends house in east Hartford across the Connecticut River as his girlfriend had a younger sister and wanted someone that Saturday to hang out with and just play with I was asked and then invited over to hang out with her younger sister my age to play outside and to play some board games later until my brothers date was over at around 8 pm and he was to pick me up later to take me back home after his date he was 18 years old and they went to a movie and a restaurant after before picking me up. Wow Let me say What I witnessed in that home was beyond my comprehension as a boy. These people were upper middle class my family was working class folks who were not poor but not rich either we did well but not on these folks Level let me say I am not sure if my brother knew or not about these peoples beliefs or practices but his girlfriends parents were outright practicing warlocks and witches including the young girl my age who was supposed to be playing games with me and just hanging out but these people were outright evil and although I was not a Christian or attend church or my family sadly so at that time in my life I absolutely believed in a sovereign god and creator as my uncle was a minister of the gospel and would talk to me about the love of the lord and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary and I just knew I wanted nothing to do with these people period or there evil and vile practices and told them so what I witnessed in that house in broad daylight was not Hollywood or make believe but in your face and very real happenings I saw a picture remove itself from a wall in the very hall I and this girl I was hanging out with stood then she giggled I was terrified beyond comprehension as it floated down the hallway of this house the smash down onto the floor. Iran back to her bedroom and said I’m getting out of her house and waiting outside until my brother gets there to pick me up and so I ran down the steps of this house as it was a two story house and when I got down to the bottom of the steps thats when I saw her parents and other older family guests and other family members all sitting down on the floor in there huge living room floor with black robes on and burning different colored candles while chanting with a giant star drawn on the floor that I later learned was a pentagram. I never went back to that house again as I told my parents what happened at first they thought I was exaggerating but after they Further investigated what I told them they to were floored shocked and couldn’t believe it that was also the end of my older brothers dating the girl after he confronted her about her family.. to whom this may concern I today I’m a born-again Redeemer Christian power follower of Jesus Christ I know in my heart that God sent Jesus and Jesus lay down his life for us all there is evil in America there is always been evil, serve Satan is very real and there are demons and they are destructive forces in the world but Jesus Christ has defeated them all on the cross of Calvary when he defeated death hell and the grave for us all God bless all of you please Listen

I lived in the country and never celebrated Halloween. And I never felt like I was missing out. I never celebrated with my own children and they are all fine and do not care. 3 years ago we moved into a cul-de-sac so I let my kids walk around and get candy. That night we all got the worst flu of our life! So we never did that again and we have nothing to do with that horrible day!

I've had these discussion with a friend. It took me a long time to stop celebrating even after I wanted to stop because I didn't want to take fun away from the neighborhood kids. When I learned more about what the children (and adult) victims go through on that night I just couldn't do it anymore. When I was younger it was my favorite holiday now I hate it & keep my lights off so they don't come. My whole neighborhood decorates & celebrates. At least I don't have kid, but my friend does & she knows it wrong, but for her kids and grandkids she still celebrates like I was. She told me they always experience bad luck afterwards. I just wonder if this happens to everyone, but they just don't notice or associate it to their celebrating this. So, for all who are on the fence & those who think it's not a problem just take notice & see if things go wrong in your life in the days that follow, within a week. Although I was raised a Christian, and I went to church every week as a teenager (I was even an altar boy for a year), I was fascinated by the occult when I was in my 20s and 30s. It started with consulting tarot card readers, psychics and then I became fascinated with witchcraft, the occult, Satanism, black magic, white magic... And those evil things lead to more evil. I became a sex addict, I loved watching horror movies, I played computer games for hours and hours ('killing people'..) ... I started wondering if I could really 'sell' my soul to the devil to get rich. But the past 10 years I started to leave all that behind, and I felt more and more drawn to Christ. I started praying more, I read the Bible, ... And I had a sincere change of heart. That's when I really started to feel the 'presence' of Christ. Now, I can't stand watching horror movies anymore. It makes me feel uncomfortable, nauseous even. I also completely stopped playing PC games. The sex addiction was the hardest to get rid of. But Jesus saved me! All those years I was blaming GOD for everything that went wrong in my life, not seeing that it was ME who was attracting evil things by doing evil things.. GOD is GREAT. And what Jesus did for us, is priceless. He must come first in our lives. He deserves our love, our respect, our gratitude,. We owe him our souls!
The part that strikes me is the sell your soul to get rich. Satan's a d..k. He's not making anyone rich unless he really has to.
I see a number of YT videos and comments that have obvious spiteful and sarcastic (2 words beginning with S in the English language, not coincidentally formulated) tones toward rich musicians, from musicians who believe they are better but are not famous and rich. I went to a Christian school and church on Sunday (in Maine, USA) and our CHURCH funded and hosted halloween parties every year. My Mom dressed us up in mostly things that we had around the house and we did all of the things that people do on halloween. I remember dressing up as Cinderella using Moms jewelry and fancy clothes and my brother was.. I don't know... a pirate or a cowboy. We bobbed for apples and went for hay rides and there was even a "haunted house" set up in town. It was fun! Now I see why it was no huge jump for me to become Wiccan. It ruined me. I had frequent demonic nightmares and sometimes still do about demons trying to oppress me (But I just call on Jesus and they go away.). THANK GOD! that I learned this and came back to Jesus BEFORE I was able to have children. Otherwise I would have been a stumbling block for them. My husband and I no longer celebrate halloween. Our child knows why, and doesn't even beg to participate. We do our Bible Study most days as part of school and she gets enough treats through out the year where she's not feeling left out of the candy loop. We get strange looks when strangers or even family members ask what she's going to be for halloween, and she tells them that we don't celebrate halloween, because it's all about the M word, and what would Jesus do? We wouldn't celebrate halloween with Jesus, so we shouldn't be doing it at all. God has truly blessed me with a husband and a healthy and intelligent child that I birthed at the age of 43, even after Drs telling me that I would never give birth. I came to this conclusion, too. Halloween was always my favorite holiday but I realize now that it’s an excuse for people to embody and glorify evil. It’s meant to be a solemn vigil for the dead. As a Catholic, that’s how I observe it.
I loved Halloween for some time, but always loved Easter too and that's just as bad really....it's still celebrating Paeganism and Ishtar, Ashra etc. Which revolved around the rituals of disrespecting ones reproductive value as the opposite. They would mate and many times sacrifice the children they didn't "need" or want. Passover makes sense for Christians. And obviously celebrating the ultimate sacrifice. ❤
There are fall holy days as well. We did just lightly celebrate Martin Luther day/reformation day which is likely why media started to take over the 31st TBH. As Halloween. Anything to lead away from unveiling the corruption of the Catholic Church.
Jesus was also likely born during Sukkot. Messianic Jewish and various other faiths have come to that conclusion and it adds up. It's still not a holy day for a reason...but it's worth celebrating I think, in a way that befits celebrating Jesus, God coming to Earth in human form for us. But not focusing on Jesus as a baby ....he grew up...
The Catholic Church is strangely obsessed with babies. The baptisms, the cherubs that are non-biblical... And they took over the day of celebrating the sun god to celebrate Jesus' birth on the 25th. They were persecuting Christians at the time as well. So needed something to sort of hide that.
We just had our first non-Hallowen and it was odd but really nice. It was easy since there's a day to talk about what Martin Luther did etc.
But many things about Easter that aren't ok and Christmas....will be difficult. As a family we are sussing out what we feel is acceptable or not. We already hardly did "Santa" stuff.... It's always been creepy to us. Lol So that's nice. We decided to have nostalgic stuff still but it has to be lesser than our relationship with God. Or else it gets the boot.

Before becoming Born Again, I was heavily into Wicca, the occult, spiritualism, paranormal investigation, mediumship, etc., etc. Every year halloween was a time for rituals and casting spells, not for dressing up in costumes and going to parties. There's some very dark, evil stuff connected to that holiday and now as a Born Again believer, I have chosen to get as far from my past as possible. Sadly people have no idea what REALLY goes on during halloween while they're out partying, getting candy, watching horror flicks, and so on. It's a truly dark, evil, satanic day and no Christian should EVER even consider celebrating it. Even if churches are claiming to throw "Christian halloween Parties", DO NOT PARTAKE! Run as far away as you possibly can! No church should be throwing such parties. Instead the best thing to do as the Bride of Christ is go into intense prayer on that day. Don't even hand out candy to kids. The enemy has cleverly gotten people to believe this holiday is all about having fun. If people only knew what type of sick ritualistic things happened behind closed doors, they would boycott the holiday.

I personally wasn’t into the occult but I was so far lost in darkness bound with alcoholism/porn/ fear/ anger ect. In 2015 God broke the chains for me and I’m free. I’m not going back to Egypt to become a slave again from what He delivered me from. Life is so much better on the other side of the Red Sea . My wife and I married Valentine’s Day 2015 and we repented and we were then baptized in the name of Jesus Christ right after the marriage. Later in July I had a powerful touch from JESUS on the alter at church. I was instantly delivered. I have my testimony on my channel. All glory to God and I am very thankful every day!!!! For a while I was celebrating Halloween as a Christian and I thought it wasn't very much of a big deal because I thought God would be ok with me celebrating Halloween, plus I have even seen my so-called Christian friends celebrating it. But then I realized that Halloween was a day where witches and wizards called the Druids opened there beliefs to sacrificing females to open up to demonic worship. Plus all other witches went around and murdered either people or cats to open up to demonic activity. That's when I realized that you can't serve God and the devil at the same time. Dang I hope none of you dress up to change your appearance for like weddings and stuff lol. I wonder what the Bible says about a day out of the year where the veil between the physical and metaphysical worlds is thin. I've only ever heard this from non-christian sources
I find it interesting that many Christians who spend time with the Lord daily and spread His gospel seem to not have qualms about decorating for Halloween or trick-or-treating or costumes. But all Christians I know who played around with dark things before becoming Christians seem to be sensitive to the extra darkness on that night and they stay away from it.
The campus ministry I was a part of always did a costume harvest party near Halloween. It was a good opportunity for ministry outreach as it was an easy thing to invite non-Christian friends to. There was a very thin line between harvest party and Halloween party, but it was at these holiday parties that I first met Christians actually living out their faith and decided to finally explore my own belief in God, eventually coming to understand Christ's salvation choosing to follow Him. What are your thoughts on Christians using the Halloween season for ministry opportunities, like what I just described--are the lines too easily crossed?
And I think we must ask ourselves as Christians, what is it exactly we are celebrating when we do celebrate Halloween? I don't know any Christian who celebrates it that thinks they are celebrating evil, but I do wonder if they have thought about what they are celebrating then? Can one really just have it be a costume and candy day?

Many ex witches are warning people about the dangers of Halloween. Involving yourself in Halloween (Samhain) and dark magic rituals and saying you're doing that for Jesus seems a bit backwards. Halloween is all about promoting demons, connecting to dead, ghosts, spells, witchcraft, etc. The Bible warns us against being involved in such things
Halloween, Christmas, Easter too. Man loves his traditions and all the family gatherings. They don't want to be disowned by family which happens. A lot of families only see each other on these holidays & they don't want to be left out, so justify by saying God knows my intent. What if your family celebrated your birthday every year on the birthday of someone you hated? Would their intent of doing it for you make it OK? We should not be celebrating our Savior's birthday on a pagan holiday; he gave His life for us! He deserves ALL our respect. It took me years to get people to stop giving me gifts and harrassing me. I send them cards on Thanksgiving expressing my gratitude for them being in my life instead. We should not need an excuse to have a family gathering. Maybe families could do a special prayer day for those who are suffering & for others to see the truth with the kids. Then reinforce their actions by taking them to their favorite place or making their favorite meal, (on a diffferent day or the food place will be celebrating too) letting them know how proud you are of them. Someone has to break the cycle & it has to start somewhere.

It's just a matter of time before we see children hospitalised because of poisoned candy or whatever else they come up with. There are truly evil human beings out there. I was raised as a Christian and after losing my way, I got involved in the New Age beliefs, Law of Attraction, crystals, full moon rituals, etc.
I felt so “weird” while going through this period.
I started to feel a pull back to God, and a few months ago, I prayed to God for the first time in ages and asked Him to show me that He’s real.

My grandmother was from Manchester (England). She was a Christian who loved the Lord Jesus Christ. Early-on, my grandmother told me about the witches of Endor and Simon the sorcerer. I received Christ as my Savior when I was six years old. When I was a teenager, I prayed for Divine discernment and wisdom. I had few friends because of my faith. Dear child of God, I am a christian and believe what you say....I have experienced spiritual things even cast out spirits from people...but there was something that happened to me 2 1/2 weeks ago. I was going into a store and at the door was a very tall man .he opened the door for me I looked up to thank him and his countenance changed. I did not know why. I went inside and heard this irritating unnerving whistling. It was from that guy. Where I was he did not seem dar from it. Always whistling that horrific whistle. I could not take it anymore, I found and empty aisle and quietly said,"I rebuke you satan in Jesus name!" Immediately that whistling stopped and the guy gone.
A week in a half later I was in the same store and that same guy came in he looked at me I looked at him he rolled his eyes and left, there was something lingering in the air after he left it caused me not to walk right. So I spoke quietly in tongues and I was no longer bothered by it but I still could feel it around in the distance of me.....you precious child are covered in the blood and have full authority over the enemy but I think you already know that...Lord Bless sister in Christ Jesus.

I grew up Christian and am raising my children in Christ. I used to enjoy Halloween, particularly putting fun costumes together. Several years ago, I began to feel uneasy about the darkness that is so prevalent surrounding it. I’ve been trying to ‘phase it out’ with my kids, then I started seeing videos by ex-witches. From now on, we have a hard no on Halloween stuff. Even our church sponsored chili fest and trunk or treat. It felt good but weird to do absolutely nothing. Looking forward to doing it again next year.

Your story is very similar to mine, I was also an occultist and things ended very badly for me as well.
It’s very tricky and enticing at first, but then they get you trapped, I was completely trapped and terrorized by these “ things “ and nothing and no one could help me.
The most terrible things were happening to me one after another and everyone was powerless to help me, everyone around me was shocked and how many awful things can happen to one person- things that happen to people maybe once in a decade were happening to me every week.
Insomnia for days, car stolen, car windows smashed a different time , pet died on Christmas Day, weird neighbour started stalking me to the point police involved - he was completely fixated on me to the point that it was creeping the police dispatcher out- had to move 3 times in 3 years, a dog bit me, another dog tried to attack me through the window, my bed vibrating so I couldn’t sleep, car wouldn’t start, bank cards stopped working for no reason, even the bank couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t work, both headlights went out at the same time in my car- TWICE- the mechanic said there’s nothing wrong with the car that the headlights should just burn out at the same time, more than once.
I would get people screaming at me undeserved, obsessed and following.
I tried everything to make this stop, I mean everything.
The only thing that made it stop was surrender and begging god and Jesus to help me.
And, it’s all stopped.

Years ago, as a child before the Harry Potter days, my mother sat me down and said to never, ever practice witchcraft. She emphasized: “have a healthy respect for it and leave it alone”. We were not church goers or religious, both committed to the Lord now, but still she honed this in. We were not allowed to have ouiji boards or watch “Devil movies” like The Exorcist, etc. Of corse, access to information was not readily available as it is now. Thanks be to God. My best friends aunt/guardian was a witch in a coven and it was very dark, I found out years later. So we knew these practices were around.

Thank you for speaking out about this, but unfortunately there will be so many people who won't accept the truth about Halloween. I speak from experience. I was involved in Witchcraft and the occult for 7 years of my life. To my absolute and utter shame, I had been a Christian, but I still felt drawn to these things and was told by others who were also involved that the two were 'compatible'. I deep down had doubts about that, but I was so strongly drawn to witchcraft and drawn to the power of it, that I pushed my doubts aside and threw myself fully into it. I experienced some 'good' times and friendships, but I also experienced some hair-raising and terrifying things, and this was especially so when I wanted to leave Witchcraft. I am so grateful that God never let me go. He kept fighting for my soul and kept drawing me back and making it so hard for me to fully and 'happily' give myself over to evil. There was always a conflict raging inside me. As I started making attempts to walk away from the occult, a lot of frightening things happened. Satan showed his true colours and I saw it was all lies. It was NOT 'good' magick it was NOT 'white' witchcraft, it was NOT harmless. With the help of more mature Christians, I was able to finally be freed from the hold it had on me. We burned all my occult items and as they were thrown into the fire we made in a large drum, they literally flew around inside, violently hitting the sides of the drum and the fire flared so high. This occurred even to my athame and other objects that were metal or crystal. I still am 'triggered' today by the sight of crystals or the smell of incense. Anyone out there who is thinking of messing with this stuff....and Halloween is a part of it, please, please, PLEASE DON'T...it's NOT A GAME.

When I was little my mother was involved in these types of things. A rooster was killed in front of me, and there was a lot of blood all over. All I did was cry for this creature as that woman slashed the throat, blew cigar smoke, and blew alcohol on it. The lady told my mother to take me away, and never take me back there. She didn't like the way I cried for the little rooster as it died. My mother was angry at me, and through out the years she beat me, and tortured me. She took me to this man's house where he had a decomposed man's head. On it was a candle. You could see the skin was almost off. and the bones of the face was showing. The smell of decayed flesh in this man's house was really awful. My mother asked the man where he got the head from. He said that he knew someone from a cemetary that dug the body then decapitated the body. We left, and I learned a lesson from that. I learned not to believe in anything, or anyone. I learned that when you believe in anything you're heading into things that are not going to be welcoming at all. This is why I keep my mind free of the unexplained. Free of Bibles, and other scriptures, because even on the news ugly things come out from those places that people visit to get on their knees. Going from believing in one thing for enlightenment to believing other things is not ideal at all. Not many stay in one place. Many are leaving beliefs behind, and taking control of their own minds when they hear those people telling them what to do. Who to talk to, and taking their money. They use fear tactics for retaining memberships into their groups. They claim if you leave that you will burn in a place where a man is wearing horns, red suit, and a 3 hook fork laughing at you. This is all I heard of. I stayed away from these places as well. I don't want to believe like they do. No one can make me either.
