Once several years ago, I was invited to a “girl’s night out” by a friend of mine. She invited myself and some friends of hers to her apartment. Each of us only knew her, the hostess. We did not know each other. The purpose was for my friend to introduce us to each other. We each brought a covered dish, sat and ate, talked and laughed. At one point one of the ladies asked me if I wanted my fortune told. Before I could say no, she pulled out a Tarot deck from her purse and began flipping some cards. Whatever she said only lasted a few minutes and she went on to read the cards for the other guests. About 2 months later I visited another friend’s church. After services, a lady there came up to me. I had never met this lady before, and this was my first time visiting my friend's church. The lady asked me if I had been around anyone fortune-telling, anything involving the occult. I had forgotten about the Tarot cards, so I said no. But the lady was insistent. She said she saw 2 demons with me who were connected to fortune-telling who were waiting to destroy me. Then I remembered the Tarot cards. She began to rebuke these demons whom she said backed away from me and disappeared through the walls at the back of the church as she prayed. I give this testimony as a warning ⚠ to young people. Please stay away from ANYTHING that is not of God. Evil spirits can transfer. They come “to steal, kill, and destroy.” (John 10:10)
Years ago, I called a psychic and she knew things that she couldn't have known. It frightened me so bad that I understood then that psychic readings are evil.

He gives people the illusion that that they have certain psychic abilities in order to ensnare that person. I was the victim of multiple forms of abuse as a very young child, and later found out that my grandfather was a practicing Satanist who had carried out unspeakable rituals and was likely cursing our family. I dealt with unimaginable fear of the dark and crippling night terrors/recurring dreams and sleep paralysis for many years, until Jesus healed my mind. Many people don't realize just how real the kingdom of darkness is. I hope to finish writing my story at some point and share it with others. Thank you for sharing your story.

Sleep paralysis, intense night terrors, waking up in the middle of the night for no reason, paranormal stuff. Although i never practiced spirituality, witchcraft or any of those things. The place i lived in was haunted. But i didnt experience stuff like that until i was around 10 and i had lived in that place from sround the age of 7. I said i didn't practice anything but i did start listening to subliminals at that age. I listened to a certain sub maker at that time called Mind power, no longer around as she got exposed as a bad person for putting bad messages in her videos. That scandal happened in 2016. I feel like that was a catalyst as i saw people saying they experienced bad stuff after listening to her
As a church leader, I've recently drawn a line in the sand in our church and REFUSE to hold any celebration at the church to compete with Satan's high holiday. Instead, we'll offer the children a Fall Gathering of Thanksgiving. I too was into the occult at an early age. Praise God that I had a friend share the gospel with me at 15 and I was saved by God's grace. I can relate to all you are saying about recruiting children from an early age. I remember watching "fun" little cartoons ... like Casper and begging for "fun" scary comic books while I was still in early elementary school. We had rumors that the lady (originally from the South Pacific) who lived across the street was a "witch", so of course I had to go meet her and make friends. She was indeed into Spiritualism and more than willing to teach me to read cards and so on. We dressed for Halloween and played witch and I filled my mind with all things paranormal and occult. By my early teens I was pretty deep into all things occult. My Parker Brothers "game" went with me to many sleep overs and thrilled my friends. Especially when it was moving "magically" to answer their questions while placed on the floor with us holding hands in a circle around it. The deeper I got the more I was tormented as well. Depression. Thoughts and even plans to off myself. I was terrified of death, but also mesmerized by it as well. And I was angry. I wasn't sleeping well or eating well or enjoying my life. The night I was at my Christian friends house for a sleep over I was SO angry at her constantly talking about the Bible and God. I was ready to punch her. "There IS no AFTERLIFE! No Heaven! No Hell!" I shouted at her. "You are just wasting your time with all of this God foolishness." Then she asked me a question. "How sure are you? If YOU are right and I am wrong, then I have wasted my time by praying to a non-existent God and when I die then I will be gone. However, IF I am right and you have made a mistake... then YOU will burn in an eternal HELL when you die. How sure are you?" That question was enough to lower my guard and listen to the Gospel. Praise GOD for giving me such a bold friend! Praise GOD that I don't have to DO anything but repent and ask for His mercy. Praise God he has loved me enough and saved me. My life did a 180 at that point and I never looked back. Life on this planet is NOT easy, but I have peace and true joy because I belong to Christ.
As I was listening to you and reading all of the comments, I remembered using the Ouija board that my Catholic grandmother had in a closet. And as a teen I stole a large number of witchcraft books from book stores. I remember doing blood magic to get a boy (who was also attracted to the occult and had Native American ancestry) to return to me after we broke up. I learned about astrology and reading tarot cards which I kept in a box wrapped in purple velvet. I had Egyptian runes and I was, and still am fascinated by the spiritual realm. At Catholic school I learned a lot of good things but it wasn’t until I read the Satanic Bible that I recognized how the Devil can take a kernel of biblical truth and twist it and use it out of context to rationalize sinning against God. At some point in my teen years I decided to read my Catholic Bible and I read for myself things that Jesus warned his followers not to do which the Catholic Church did, make graven images, pray to dead people, have a church hierarchy where you call a superior “father”. Ultimately God saw fit to open my eyes to everything that I was doing that was hurting Him and putting me in danger. I wish I could say that I’ve been true to God ever since I was baptized. It’s been a long, hard Journey but looking back through the years, God has never left me and has always stayed true to His word. I’m 55 now. I tried hard to live my way and make it be God’s will instead of being quiet, listening to His will and walking by faith to complete God’s will. I suffer disabling depression and suicidal ideation and PTSD from sex abuse trauma in my childhood (multiple men including my father). But I have an awesome non-denominal Protestant, Jesus Christ loving Church now. Still learning to listen to the Holy Spirit’s direction. It’s hard to give up control of trying to fix things myself.

I just came across this video in 2024. You did a splendid job of explaining things. I did not let my kids participate in Halloween and was ridiculed for it. I very much dislike this "holiday." My eldest son is 20, and my youngest 9. We have never had them dress up, and be a part of this evil day. They do enjoy carving pumpkins without evil faces, and we scoop out the seeds to roast. But we specifically do not light the pumpkins up on Halloween. My children know very clearly why we don't celebrate as well. Kids need to know at the right age with limited details.
I’m 25 and my mom never let me participate. It was kinda embarrassing as a kid. But I’m glad she didn’t. Very aware now. I commend my mother on how smart she was with us. My mother knows all too well about the evils in this world. I am blessed to have her and not an evil mother like some of my friends had.

I came out from under satan’s control in 1978 when I gave my life to Jesus. I have experienced a lifetime of oppression and difficulty since because the devil does not let go easily. Praise God, He is faithful and greater is He that is in me than he who is in world. The Lord brought me through all of it, delivered me and used it FOR my good and HIS glory. If you are a follower of Jesus, you should be living a life more abundantly as He said. That doesn't mean your life will be perfect, BUT, if you've experienced a lifetime of difficulty, there is still a problem! Demons are having a heyday with you bc you have not used your authority to make them flee. Jesus said my yoke is easy and my burden is light and that he would give us rest and that we would live a life more abundantly.

I still celebrate Halloween, have practiced Kundalini Yoga and other Yoga for most of my life, go to native American sweat ceremonies, and have attended Indian devotional chanting for many years. I'm fine and life has treated me well. As someone who doesn't believe in hell, I do not fear it. Heaven and hell to me are states of mind. We have a choice in that. If scripture allows one to connect with God that is beautiful. If nature allows that, it is also beautiful. If meditation allows it, that is also divine. God is too big to fit inside of one tiny finite, dogmatic box.

Do you realize that kundalini power is called, "strange fire" vs. the fire of the H.S.? If someone paid you with counterfeit money would you be upset? Because that is what these other practices are, cheap counterfeits. I grew up poor so we only ate margarine & when I visited a rich relative the food tasted funny to me. I had never tasted butter before because I was used to that cheap counterfeit. I was into all those things you mentioned too, yoga, went to powwows & gatherings where they did the sweats, doing charka work, went through Reiki training all the way up the Master Teacher. When you are in it all is normal to you & you thnk it's beautiful. Where did you learn that heaven & hell are states of mind, from yoga? When you are chanting you are calling on the little gods, you are opening doorways that are better left shut. They cannot come into your life unless invited & they have no problem tricking you into that. They are not gods they are Fallen Angels. Do you know even the demons tremble at the thought of hell? They are terrified of our Savior. Your life seems fine because you are doing what the dark ones want, so they leave you alone and laugh, but a day will come when you will have to pay for your choices. I am not being mean I am being truthful. Yoga, chanting, charka work open you up making it easier for the spirits to use & influence you. "I heard a witch say to his students, "A day will come when you have to choose a god or a god will choose you & there is alwasy a price to pay". If yoga was enough you would not have needed shamans & sweats or psychic readings, or ... whatever occult activity you engage in. It is never enough because they all leave you empty, they are not the real deal. There is always something missing. No need to reply I just hope you are open minded enough to consider these things. I wasted so much time & money I will never get back, but worse than that I was almost lost to that world. Thankfully, Our Heavenly Father & Savior pulled me out of the delusion and saved me. There is another one here, dear brother. My vocation is defence of the Faith, mostly online. I have done so for about 10-15 years. This work also involves much study and research. The culture, especially in the three main portals of the public mind: education, media, and entertainment, has been manipulating people against the Faith for decades. Sometimes, this is done directly, sometimes subliminally. For example, a scene shows a man striking his wife. At the back of the set is a wall in what we assume is the family home. The wall contains nothing but a Christian cross. This promotes the idea that Christian men beat their wives using the Bible as justification. It further reinforces the idea that Christian women uphold the "patriarchy" because they passively and uncritically accept the Bible. People might not even be consciously aware of the cross on the set wall. But it is taken in subconsciously, and it reinforces the anti-Christian propaganda put out by other sources. We English Christians have work to do. I believe we can't sit back, watch the Faith kicked to the kerb, and do nothing. Have you noticed that in England, Christmas no longer contains Christ? I have started up a TH-cam channel, but it would be bad manners to name it. I have also just upgraded the animation program. I use (hopefully) the "touch of wit" St Paul teaches about and show people Judeo-Christian teaching that they are no longer taught. The 7 deadly sins, for example. I'm a follower of Christ too and pleasantly surprised to have found THREE ENGLISH Christians here on TH-cam. Who would have thought? In my day to day life and travels across the country, it seems to me that genuine followers of Christ are about 2% the population.

What stood out most to me was how Satan worked through her but allowed her to think that SHE had the power. What an "attractive" thing to a girl who feels powerless. The enemy, unfortunately, is wise. But Jesus is all-wise and all-powerful and will defeat the devil!
I'm a very strong Christian warrior, always have been. My niece was practicing wicca with her friends for years and identified as Wiccan. I was traveling America and passing through her town, they let me crash on their couch while I visited. They warned me of some angry spirits. My reply: "your evil spirits are absolutely terrified of me because Jesus came in with me". Slept like a baby with no worries.
no such thing as "identifying as". That is corrupt language that is being used to overthrow the west spiritually, financially and mentally. You'd be well served as a christian to not use their corrupt language.
I changed my mind. A long time ago I thought about celebrating Halloween I was heavily into law of attraction, crystals, and into spirituality that did not involve God. It was essentially minor relations to witchcraft, I made the conscious decision to derive from this and as I am on not my first walk, but my forever walk in Christ.

Ex witch here too. I was saved by Jesus in 2017 after I became a mother, I will not celebrate Halloween every again, and I will not allow my son to participate in it either. I know the background, the origin of trick or treat, the souling, the dressing up to repel evil spirits, Samhain, the practices on that night have no place in a born again christians life.
Could you explain to me, why this is the night when the veil is so thin? Why evil spirits are so intense? I know very little about halloween, we don’t celebrate this.
@cinqueqwerty it's not actually thin, but in wicca and many pagan religions that is when it is believed to be thin, and around the same time when some pagan holidays are celebrated like Samhain. The carving of pumpkins and wearing of costumes is believed to scare off evil spirits and or trick them into believing that the wearer is also an evil spirit and they will be left alone.

Thank you for your testimony. Although I was raised a Christian, and I went to church every week as a teenager (I was even an altar boy for a year), I was fascinated by the occult when I was in my 20s and 30s. It started with consulting tarot card readers, psychics and then I became fascinated with witchcraft, the occult, Satanism, black magic, white magic... And those evil things lead to more evil. I became a sex addict, I loved watching horror movies, I played computer games for hours and hours ('killing people'..) ... I started wondering if I could really 'sell' my soul to the devil to get rich. But the past 10 years I started to leave all that behind, and I felt more and more drawn to Christ. I started praying more, I read the Bible, ... And I had a sincere change of heart. That's when I really started to feel the 'presence' of Christ. Now, I can't stand watching horror movies anymore. It makes me feel uncomfortable, nauseous even. I also completely stopped playing PC games. The sex addiction was the hardest to get rid of. But Jesus saved me! All those years I was blaming GOD for everything that went wrong in my life, not seeing that it was ME who was attracting evil things by doing evil things.. GOD is GREAT. And what Jesus did for us, is priceless. He must come first in our lives. He deserves our love, our respect, our gratitude,. We owe him our souls!
The part that strikes me is the sell your soul to get rich. Satan's a d..k. He's not making anyone rich unless he really has to. I see a number of YT videos and comments that have obvious spiteful and sarcastic (2 words beginning with S in the English language, not coincidentally formulated) tones toward rich musicians, from musicians who believe they are better but are not famous and rich. I'm thinking sure pal, so you really want to be rich and famous like them, because it comes with a deal.

Sure, as a child and teenager I went to church with my parents, because I didn't know any better back then (and because they made me go..). I prayed to Mary, because my parents did... I thank God for your testimony. My husband is from the hallway room from Bethlehem and he came to America. He was very disturbed by all the Halloween decorations that were everywhere and I grew up seeing it so didn't affect me as much, though I never did like this very unholy day. And he asked a clear question "why would anybody who says they're Christian want to celebrate a day of darkness and death?"

Those who have taken the time to grow spiritually by reading the Word for themselves and whom have understanding, are not afraid of Halloween or the devil. Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. We are not to fear one who can destroy the flesh but fear only Him who can destroy both spirit and flesh. While I agree with you that a lot of Christians don't read the Word, and are listening to wolves. These same people would also laugh in the devil's face. Which actually is not a spiritually healthy response. Thinking more highly of themselves then they ought. We worship or revere, what we fear. Hence all the scary movies, and depictions of him as a beast. But the Word says he appears as an angel of light and was at one time very beautiful. The devil, also known as the god of this world, is to be respected. (Meaning you don't play around with him or think he isn't powerful.) But not feared. No, that only belongs to God. Once we put fear in it's proper place, we find there is nothing here in this realm to fear at all, as this place is not our home and we're storing up our riches in the life to come. While fearing the Lord may sound off to you, it is what keeps on the narrow path to the straight gate, which is actually very difficult to enter in. As man loves this life and their sin more then God, or their future. The Truth is also veiled to unbelievers. But you or anyone else can have that veil torn if they choose.

You have to remember, and I always try to think of things this way when trying to discern what matters. I stumbled on your video today, two years after you posted it. God was speaking to me strongly today, urging me NOT to take my kids out to trick-or-treat. We already had plans to meet up with friends and have a merry time. And your testimony and insight stopped me in my tracks. I cancelled our plans and we didn't go. I was open with the kids, and explained exactly why the Holy Spirit was telling me to change course. We went to my parents house instead, where my mother (a Christian) dressed as a "silly" witch. My son announced that we are "never trick or treating again because it is supporting Satan" (his take on my explanation). And in the following moments, I realized how deceived my parents were - and realized that the devil had some kind of hold on them. My parents, both self-professed Christians, vehemently rebuffed my son, with a fervor I was not expecting. It opened my eyes to just how ignorant we are. I am now even more convinced I have made the right choice for our family. I will NOT lead my children on their merry way to Hell. Thank you for this testimony. I pray that more people see this and listen to the Holy Spirit's whispering to do things differently.

Trunk or Treat is supposed to be a safe alternative, and i don't think they mean to dishonor God and glorify Satan. I think most churches have rules on what kids can dress up as. A Bible character or a fireman would be more acceptable than a witch or monster or ghost.

I am so glad to have finally found someone who can speak with authority on this topic and go into enough details to reveal what’s truly going on that so many of us have been blind to. One of the clearest points she made was how on Halloween night, children, and sometimes teenagers come knocking on our door dressed as witches vampires, and although some costumes, maybe innocent like little girls dressing up as princesses, they are blind to what they are aligning themselves with, and we have been blind to open the door and make an offering to the enemy . However, the Lord is a gentleman. He stands at the door and knocks and waits to be invited to come, He desires intimacy in relationship with each one of his children. There’s an acquaintance of mine who’s husband is a pastor. They have an older daughter. He dressed up as a zombie pastor for Halloween this year and the daughter a zombie nun. Wearing their crucifix around their necks and all. I just don’t understand it. It’s mockery. Coming from a man of God. I try not to judge people for celebrating Halloween. What she is saying is the truth as a young boy of 11 years old back in 1974 while my family all lived in The state of Connecticut We lived in Hartford and I went to spend the day at my older brothers girlfriends house in east Hartford across the Connecticut River as his girlfriend had a younger sister and wanted someone that Saturday to hang out with and just play with I was asked and then invited over to hang out with her younger sister my age to play outside and to play some board games later until my brothers date was over at around 8 pm and he was to pick me up later to take me back home after his date he was 18 years old and they went to a movie and a restaurant after before picking me up. Wow Let me say What I witnessed in that home was beyond my comprehension as a boy. These people were upper middle class my family was working class folks who were not poor but not rich either we did well but not on these folks Level let me say I am not sure if my brother knew or not about these peoples beliefs or practices but his girlfriends parents were outright practicing warlocks and witches including the young girl my age who was supposed to be playing games with me and just hanging out but these people were outright evil and although I was not a Christian or attend church or my family sadly so at that time in my life I absolutely believed in a sovereign god and creator as my uncle was a minister of the gospel and would talk to me about the love of the lord and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary and I just knew I wanted nothing to do with these people period or there evil and vile practices and told them so what I witnessed in that house in broad daylight was not Hollywood or make believe but in your face and very real happenings I saw a picture remove itself from a wall in the very hall I and this girl I was hanging out with stood then she giggled I was terrified beyond comprehension as it floated down the hallway of this house the smash down onto the floor. Iran back to her bedroom and said I’m getting out of her house and waiting outside until my brother gets there to pick me up and so I ran down the steps of this house as it was a two story house and when I got down to the bottom of the steps thats when I saw her parents and other older family guests and other family members all sitting down on the floor in there huge living room floor with black robes on and burning different colored candles while chanting with a giant star drawn on the floor that I later learned was a pentagram. So last year this really awesome thing happened on Halloween. I had a neighbor who moved in and right before he moved in I got pulled into this spiritual realm and had an encounter with him. I thought he was a demon and he acted really disgusted with me and my mantle, which at the time I was like what mantle? Anyway, but then he came to me in real life and introduced himself like nothing happened and I was shocked. So weird stuff started happening to me. I started getting really demonic dreams and I’d fight them off, then just really demonic intrusive thoughts, and like amplified temptations with a sort of fiendish physical aspect and these were temptations that I had defeated long ago and hadn’t even given a second thought to in a very long time. So I’d fight them off. I was getting really demoralized and constantly praying and asking God what was happening because I knew something was wrong. And then on Halloween I was laying in bed and it was like I was groggy and just waking up out of sleep and my whole bedroom was golden sparkles, like gold dust and fireflies were floating in the air. I was like, oh wow, how beautiful! Then I saw a man at my bedside sort of hovering over me and I couldn’t see his face because he had this really pretty Jewish style prayer shawl draped over him with a crown holding it in place and I was like, oh wow, who is this? And my brain answered me and said, the high priest. And he was saying something in a language I couldn’t understand like he was praying over me and anointing me with oil and so I was like, what is he saying? And my brain answered and said Kaddish. Then I drifted back to sleep. Looking back, I’m pretty sure I was going to be attacked very badly that night by the occult and Jesus literally came and sat at my bedside. I still get attacked sometimes but there’s just something so confident building when you know that Jesus will show up and pray at your bedside when you need him. I looked up what is said in Kaddish. It’s all about Messiah coming back in your lifetime and establishing his kingdom. Just thought I’d share.
Send the bad spirits away in the Name of Jesus. It worked for me. It took four years, but I am now stronger and use the name of Jesus for other things, like sickness. I also proclaim a hedge of protection in His Name.

I went to a Christian school and church on Sunday (in Maine, USA) and our CHURCH funded and hosted halloween parties every year. My Mom dressed us up in mostly things that we had around the house and we did all of the things that people do on halloween. I remember dressing up as Cinderella using Moms jewelry and fancy clothes and my brother was.. I don't know... a pirate or a cowboy. We bobbed for apples and went for hay rides and there was even a "haunted house" set up in town. It was fun! Now I see why it was no huge jump for me to become Wiccan. It ruined me. I had frequent demonic nightmares and sometimes still do about demons trying to oppress me (But I just call on Jesus and they go away.). THANK GOD! that I learned this and came back to Jesus BEFORE I was able to have children. Otherwise I would have been a stumbling block for them. My husband and I no longer celebrate halloween. Our child knows why, and doesn't even beg to participate. We do our Bible Study most days as part of school and she gets enough treats through out the year where she's not feeling left out of the candy loop. We get strange looks when strangers or even family members ask what she's going to be for halloween, and she tells them that we don't celebrate halloween, because it's all about the M word, and what would Jesus do? We wouldn't celebrate halloween with Jesus, so we shouldn't be doing it at all. God has truly blessed me with a husband and a healthy and intelligent child that I birthed at the age of 43, even after Drs telling me that I would never give birth. The year I'd been a Christian longer than I was an Atheist, I had a celebration. At age 17 I told God to leave me alone. He did. He gave us free will, after all. But, looking back on my life, that's the beginning of my downward decent. I was in jails, hospitals, I was an addict... I was even in an ungodly relationship. 34 years after I turned away from God, He left the 99 to come after me. I've told anybody who will listen to me... "I might say I want to give up, because I'm under spiritual attack almost daily, but that just means curling in a ball on my bed and crying for a while. I'll NEVER leave God again! I'll NEVER turn away from Him again. I've been to that other, dark place, and I never want to go back. The worst day with God as my Savior is so much better than my best day without Him."

Meditation has helped me overcome stresses and become non judgemental just as God intended. Yoga is just exercise so I don’t know why that’s even mentioned 😊

And yet whenever I stumbled across any "From New Age/Occult to Jesus" I was frustrated and a little irritated with the failure to elaborate across the board -- everyone said, "I know now that (insert practice/tools here) is demonic," but they wouldn't say why. Your reasoning of "asking the air but Satan rules the air" and "dressing to match the evil which is why you meet so much demonic resistance when you turn to God" is spectacular, and the most convincing anti-Satanist argument I've heard yet. My parents never let us celebrate Halloween as kids and at the time, I never understood why. They told me, at some basic level, that it was the devil’s holiday, but as a kid, I just thought “yeah ok, but everyone else is doing it, why can’t we?” The last 5-6 years as I’ve come back to Christ, and have found videos like yours explaining what it actually is, what its roots are, etc. I am so thankful to my parents for not allowing us to indulge. There’s no telling what dangers and spiritual warfare we were saved from because of it! ❤
I lived in the country and never celebrated Halloween. And I never felt like I was missing out. I never celebrated with my own children and they are all fine and do not care. 3 years ago we moved into a cul-de-sac so I let my kids walk around and get candy. That night we all got the worst flu of our life! So we never did that again and we have nothing to do with that horrible day!
I've had these discussion with a friend. It took me a long time to stop celebrating even after I wanted to stop because I didn't want to take fun away from the neighborhood kids. When I learned more about what the children (and adult) victims go through on that night I just couldn't do it anymore. When I was younger it was my favorite holiday now I hate it & keep my lights off so they don't come. My whole neighborhood decorates & celebrates. At least I don't have kid, but my friend does & she knows it wrong, but for her kids and grandkids she still celebrates like I was. She told me they always experience bad luck afterwards. I just wonder if this happens to everyone, but they just don't notice or associate it to their celebrating this. The original Saint Valentine was Nimrod, on this day in February, Semiramis, the mother of Tammuz, was said to have been purified and to have appeared for the first time in public with her son as the original "mother and child." CHRISTMAS Ishtar or Easter, also known by her biblical name Semiramis was the widow of Nimrod. She was called the "Queen of heaven" and claimed to have been impregnated by Nimrod through the rays of the sun and later had a son by the name of Tammuz who had a miraculous birth on December 25th. Pagans believed that Nimrod was reincarnated as Tammuz and so Easter married her son Tammuz. Pagan sun-worshippers celebrated the birthday of the reincarnate sun-god on December 25th. Scripture is very clear that we are not to celebrate this particular holiday. The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead the dough, to make cakes to the Queen of Heaven, and to pour out drink offerings to other deities, that they may provoke Me to anger. (HIM Jeremiah 7:18) The passage above is obviously referring to making Christmas cookies and leaving those cookies and a glass of milk for Nimrod's widow Easter who was called the queen of heaven. The only difference is now those offerings are left for Santa (Satan) himself. Let's move on and read another passage from Scripture. Thus says YaHuWaH, "Do not learn the way of the gentiles, and do not be dismayed at the signs of the heaven; for the gentiles are dismayed at them. For the customs of the peoples are vanity; for one cuts a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it not move. (HIM Jeremiah 10:2-4) This passage is obviously referring to cutting down the Christmas tree, putting it on some sort of tree stand, and decorating it. Once you learn why it had become customary to use an erect evergreen tree that has a pointed end decorate it with big red balls you will realize the extent of the perversion in this holiday. The erect tree symbolizes Nimrod's erect masculinity. The tree was evergreen because evergreen trees are full of life year round, like Nimrod's penis. The tree was pointed at the end just like Nimrod's pecker. The big red balls that dangle off the tree, well you get the picture. This holiday is perversion at its best. Every sun-god was born on December 25th. Amun-Ra, Horus, Mithra, Tammuz, and Zeus, Jesus H. Christ were born on December 25th.
Sometimes when I have spiritual attacks I see them in my dreams. Often times these witches do rituals and disguise them as holiday practices (my dreams involved witches who did Christmas magic). I'm in the same boat as you actually. Before becoming Born Again, I was heavily into Wicca, the occult, spiritualism, paranormal investigation, mediumship, etc., etc. Every year halloween was a time for rituals and casting spells, not for dressing up in costumes and going to parties. There's some very dark, evil stuff connected to that holiday and now as a Born Again believer, I have chosen to get as far from my past as possible. Sadly people have no idea what REALLY goes on during halloween while they're out partying, getting candy, watching horror flicks, and so on. It's a truly dark, evil, satanic day and no Christian should EVER even consider celebrating it. Even if churches are claiming to throw "Christian halloween Parties", DO NOT PARTAKE! Run as far away as you possibly can! No church should be throwing such parties. Instead the best thing to do as the Bride of Christ is go into intense prayer on that day. Don't even hand out candy to kids. The enemy has cleverly gotten people to believe this holiday is all about having fun. If people only knew what type of sick ritualistic things happened behind closed doors, they would boycott the holiday.

I find it interesting that many Christians who spend time with the Lord daily and spread His gospel seem to not have qualms about decorating for Halloween or trick-or-treating or costumes. But all Christians I know who played around with dark things before becoming Christians seem to be sensitive to the extra darkness on that night and they stay away from it. The campus ministry I was a part of always did a costume harvest party near Halloween. It was a good opportunity for ministry outreach as it was an easy thing to invite non-Christian friends to. There was a very thin line between harvest party and Halloween party, but it was at these holiday parties that I first met Christians actually living out their faith and decided to finally explore my own belief in God, eventually coming to understand Christ's salvation choosing to follow Him. What are your thoughts on Christians using the Halloween season for ministry opportunities, like what I just described--are the lines too easily crossed? And I think we must ask ourselves as Christians, what is it exactly we are celebrating when we do celebrate Halloween? I don't know any Christian who celebrates it that thinks they are celebrating evil, but I do wonder if they have thought about what they are celebrating then? Can one really just have it be a costume and candy day?
God's Word is specific that we should not partake in any way from the evil one’s plots. Isaiah 52:11 “Depart! Depart! Many ex witches are warning people about the dangers of Halloween. Involving yourself in Halloween (Samhain) and dark magic rituals and saying you're doing that for Jesus seems a bit backwards. Halloween, Christmas, Easter too. Man loves his traditions and all the family gatherings. They don't want to be disowned by family which happens. A lot of families only see each other on these holidays & they don't want to be left out, so justify by saying God knows my intent. What if your family celebrated your birthday every year on the birthday of someone you hated? Would their intent of doing it for you make it OK? We should not be celebrating our Savior's birthday on a pagan holiday; he gave His life for us! He deserves ALL our respect. It took me years to get people to stop giving me gifts and harrassing me. I send them cards on Thanksgiving expressing my gratitude for them being in my life instead. We should not need an excuse to have a family gathering. Maybe families could do a special prayer day for those who are suffering & for others to see the truth with the kids. Then reinforce their actions by taking them to their favorite place or making their favorite meal, (on a diffferent day or the food place will be celebrating too) letting them know how proud you are of them. Someone has to break the cycle & it has to start somewhere.

Dear child of God, I am a christian and believe what you say....I have experienced spiritual things even cast out spirits from people...but there was something that happened to me 2 1/2 weeks ago. I was going into a store and at the door was a very tall man .he opened the door for me I looked up to thank him and his countenance changed. I did not know why. I went inside and heard this irritating unnerving whistling. It was from that guy. Where I was he did not seem dar from it. Always whistling that horrific whistle. I could not take it anymore, I found and empty aisle and quietly said,"I rebuke you satan in Jesus name!" Immediately that whistling stopped and the guy gone. A week in a half later I was in the same store and that same guy came in he looked at me I looked at him he rolled his eyes and left, there was something lingering in the air after he left it caused me not to walk right. So I spoke quietly in tongues and I was no longer bothered by it but I still could feel it around in the distance of me.....you precious child are covered in the blood and have full authority over the enemy but I think you already know that...Lord Bless sister in Christ Jesus.

I was wondering if they were real then this happened, the person I heard speak on them said that they are around and not everyone recognizes them. I know that my Lord had my eyes opened to perceive this supernatural thing. When I was in there only one other person seemed affected by the whistling she ran out. Since it bothered me and not the others except one made me perceive that their eyes and ears were shut. Matthew 13:15 for this people's heart is waxed gross and their ears are dull of hearing and their eyes they have closed Lest they shall see with their eyes and hear with their ears and should understand with their heart and should be converted and I should heal them. I have had the gift of discerning spirits I have experienced many things . I had a dream of what the call is on my life, and the Lord has shown me supernaturally in the Scripture that showed me what HE has me to do. During the events of Revelation people take the mark because they cannot buy or sell and will not be given the very means of life without it. They conform to the evil to be left alone. Most people don’t believe in a literal hell or a literal devil. So they live thinking we are all going to heaven, that sin isn’t bad, or that nothing happens after we die so who cares. If people actually believed the devil or hell was real they would be terrified and run to Jesus. Not believing is part of the deception that God takes away when we come to Christ and let Him rescue us.
I encourage you to read Romans 14, this teaches us that we should follow our own internal conscience. "Nothing is unclean for those who follow the Lord" but if you believe it's wrong, than it is wrong for you; but it may not be wrong for someone else because it is about your own belief and conscience. "One person considers one day more sacred than another while another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord..." No one can tell you what is and isn't right or holy, trust yourself and your intentions.

Once several years ago, I was invited to a “girl’s night out” by a friend of mine. She invited myself and some friends of hers to her apartment. Each of us only knew her, the hostess. We did not know each other. The purpose was for my friend to introduce us to each other. We each brought a covered dish, sat and ate, talked and laughed. At one point one of the ladies asked me if I wanted my fortune told. Before I could say no, she pulled out a Tarot deck from her purse and began flipping some cards. Whatever she said only lasted a few minutes and she went on to read the cards for the other guests. About 2 months later I visited another friend’s church. After services, a lady there came up to me. I had never met this lady before, and this was my first time visiting my friend's church. The lady asked me if I had been around anyone fortune-telling, anything involving the occult. I had forgotten about the Tarot cards, so I said no. But the lady was insistent. She said she saw 2 demons with me who were connected to fortune-telling who were waiting to destroy me. Then I remembered the Tarot cards. She began to rebuke these demons whom she said backed away from me and disappeared through the walls at the back of the church as she prayed. I give this testimony as a warning ⚠ to young people. Please stay away from ANYTHING that is not of God. Evil spirits can transfer. They come “to steal, kill, and destroy.” (John 10:10)

I was the victim of multiple forms of abuse as a very young child, and later found out that my grandfather was a practicing Satanist who had carried out unspeakable rituals and was likely cursing our family. I dealt with unimaginable fear of the dark and crippling night terrors/recurring dreams and sleep paralysis for many years, until Jesus healed my mind. Sleep paralysis, intense night terrors, waking up in the middle of the night for no reason, paranormal stuff. Although i never practiced spirituality, witchcraft or any of those things. The place i lived in was haunted. But i didnt experience stuff like that until i was around 10 and i had lived in that place from sround the age of 7. I said i didn't practice anything but i did start listening to subliminals at that age. I listened to a certain sub maker at that time called Mind power, no longer around as she got exposed as a bad person for putting bad messages in her videos. That scandal happened in 2016. I feel like that was a catalyst as i saw people saying they experienced bad stuff after listening to her

As a church leader, I've recently drawn a line in the sand in our church and REFUSE to hold any celebration at the church to compete with Satan's high holiday. Instead, we'll offer the children a Fall Gathering of Thanksgiving. On October 31st, we'll offer the adults teaching on the occult, spiritual warfare, and Christ's victory afforded us through the cross and His precious blood. ❤✝️🙏

Thanksgiving is a celebration created in 1637 which celebrated the slaughter of hundreds of natives. Don’t be deceived by celebrations that are normalized by a crooked nation who hides behind Christianity but actually works for satin.

I too was into the occult at an early age. Praise God that I had a friend share the gospel with me at 15 and I was saved by God's grace. I can relate to all you are saying about recruiting children from an early age. I remember watching "fun" little cartoons ... like Casper and begging for "fun" scary comic books while I was still in early elementary school. We had rumors that the lady (originally from the South Pacific) who lived across the street was a "witch", so of course I had to go meet her and make friends. She was indeed into Spiritualism and more than willing to teach me to read cards and so on. We dressed for Halloween and played witch and I filled my mind with all things paranormal and occult. By my early teens I was pretty deep into all things occult. My Parker Brothers "game" went with me to many sleep overs and thrilled my friends. Especially when it was moving "magically" to answer their questions while placed on the floor with us holding hands in a circle around it. The deeper I got the more I was tormented as well. Depression. Thoughts and even plans to off myself. I was terrified of death, but also mesmerized by it as well. And I was angry. I wasn't sleeping well or eating well or enjoying my life. The night I was at my Christian friends house for a sleep over I was SO angry at her constantly talking about the Bible and God. I was ready to punch her. "There IS no AFTERLIFE! No Heaven! No Hell!" I shouted at her. "You are just wasting your time with all of this God foolishness." Then she asked me a question. "How sure are you? If YOU are right and I am wrong, then I have wasted my time by praying to a non-existent God and when I die then I will be gone. However, IF I am right and you have made a mistake... then YOU will burn in an eternal HELL when you die. How sure are you?" That question was enough to lower my guard and listen to the Gospel. Praise GOD for giving me such a bold friend! Praise GOD that I don't have to DO anything but repent and ask for His mercy. Praise God he has loved me enough and saved me. My life did a 180 at that point and I never looked back. Life on this planet is NOT easy, but I have peace and true joy because I belong to Christ.
As I was listening to you and reading all of the comments, I remembered using the Ouija board that my Catholic grandmother had in a closet. And as a teen I stole a large number of witchcraft books from book stores. I remember doing blood magic to get a boy (who was also attracted to the occult and had Native American ancestry) to return to me after we broke up. I learned about astrology and reading tarot cards which I kept in a box wrapped in purple velvet. I had Egyptian runes and I was, and still am fascinated by the spiritual realm. At Catholic school I learned a lot of good things but it wasn’t until I read the Satanic Bible that I recognized how the Devil can take a kernel of biblical truth and twist it and use it out of context to rationalize sinning against God. At some point in my teen years I decided to read my Catholic Bible and I read for myself things that Jesus warned his followers not to do which the Catholic Church did, make graven images, pray to dead people, have a church hierarchy where you call a superior “father”. Ultimately God saw fit to open my eyes to everything that I was doing that was hurting Him and putting me in danger. I wish I could say that I’ve been true to God ever since I was baptized. It’s been a long, hard Journey but looking back through the years, God has never left me and has always stayed true to His word. I’m 55 now. I tried hard to live my way and make it be God’s will instead of being quiet, listening to His will and walking by faith to complete God’s will. I suffer disabling depression and suicidal ideation and PTSD from sex abuse trauma in my childhood (multiple men including my father). But I have an awesome non-denominal Protestant, Jesus Christ loving Church now. Still learning to listen to the Holy Spirit’s direction. It’s hard to give up control of trying to fix things myself.

I just came across this video in 2024. You did a splendid job of explaining things. I did not let my kids participate in Halloween and was ridiculed for it. I very much dislike this "holiday." My eldest son is 20, and my youngest 9. We have never had them dress up, and be a part of this evil day. They do enjoy carving pumpkins without evil faces, and we scoop out the seeds to roast. But we specifically do not light the pumpkins up on Halloween. My children know very clearly why we don't celebrate as well. Kids need to know at the right age with limited details.
The holiday is what you make it. My son and I love to dress up. It is fun to pick a new costume ever year. No thoughts of evil or witchcraft
I’m 25 and my mom never let me participate. It was kinda embarrassing as a kid. But I’m glad she didn’t. Very aware now. I commend my mother on how smart she was with us. My mother knows all too well about the evils in this world. I am blessed to have her and not an evil mother like some of my friends had.

I still celebrate Halloween, have practiced Kundalini Yoga and other Yoga for most of my life, go to native American sweat ceremonies, and have attended Indian devotional chanting for many years. I'm fine and life has treated me well. As someone who doesn't believe in hell, I do not fear it. Heaven and hell to me are states of mind. We have a choice in that.
If scripture allows one to connect with God that is beautiful. If nature allows that, it is also beautiful. If meditation allows it, that is also divine.

Your life seems fine because you are doing what the dark ones want, so they leave you alone and laugh, but a day will come when you will have to pay for your choices. I am not being mean I am being truthful. Yoga, chanting, charka work open you up making it easier for the spirits to use & influence you. "I heard a witch say to his students, "A day will come when you have to choose a god or a god will choose you & there is alwasy a price to pay". If yoga was enough you would not have needed shamans & sweats or psychic readings, or ... whatever occult activity you engage in. It is never enough because they all leave you empty, they are not the real deal. There is always something missing. No need to reply I just hope you are open minded enough to consider these things. There is another one here, dear brother. My vocation is defence of the Faith, mostly online. I have done so for about 10-15 years. This work also involves much study and research. The culture, especially in the three main portals of the public mind: education, media, and entertainment, has been manipulating people against the Faith for decades. Sometimes, this is done directly, sometimes subliminally. For example, a scene shows a man striking his wife. At the back of the set is a wall in what we assume is the family home. The wall contains nothing but a Christian cross. This promotes the idea that Christian men beat their wives using the Bible as justification. It further reinforces the idea that Christian women uphold the "patriarchy" because they passively and uncritically accept the Bible. People might not even be consciously aware of the cross on the set wall. But it is taken in subconsciously, and it reinforces the anti-Christian propaganda put out by other sources.
We English Christians have work to do. I believe we can't sit back, watch the Faith kicked to the kerb, and do nothing.

Ex witch here too. I was saved by Jesus in 2017 after I became a mother, I will not celebrate Halloween every again, and I will not allow my son to participate in it either. I know the background, the origin of trick or treat, the souling, the dressing up to repel evil spirits, Samhain, the practices on that night have no place in a born again christians life.

@cinqueqwerty it's not actually thin, but in wicca and many pagan religions that is when it is believed to be thin, and around the same time when some pagan holidays are celebrated like Samhain. The carving of pumpkins and wearing of costumes is believed to scare off evil spirits and or trick them into believing that the wearer is also an evil spirit and they will be left alone.

Thank you for your testimony. Although I was raised a Christian, and I went to church every week as a teenager (I was even an altar boy for a year), I was fascinated by the occult when I was in my 20s and 30s. It started with consulting tarot card readers, psychics and then I became fascinated with witchcraft, the occult, Satanism, black magic, white magic... And those evil things lead to more evil. I became a sex addict, I loved watching horror movies, I played computer games for hours and hours ('killing people'..) ... I started wondering if I could really 'sell' my soul to the devil to get rich. But the past 10 years I started to leave all that behind, and I felt more and more drawn to Christ. I started praying more, I read the Bible, ... And I had a sincere change of heart. That's when I really started to feel the 'presence' of Christ. Now, I can't stand watching horror movies anymore. It makes me feel uncomfortable, nauseous even. I also completely stopped playing PC games. The sex addiction was the hardest to get rid of. But Jesus saved me! All those years I was blaming GOD for everything that went wrong in my life, not seeing that it was ME who was attracting evil things by doing evil things.. GOD is GREAT. And what Jesus did for us, is priceless. He must come first in our lives. He deserves our love, our respect, our gratitude,. We owe him our souls!

I see a number of YT videos and comments that have obvious spiteful and sarcastic (2 words beginning with S in the English language, not coincidentally formulated) tones toward rich musicians, from musicians who believe they are better but are not famous and rich. I'm thinking sure pal, so you really want to be rich and famous like them, because it comes with a deal.

I thank God for your testimony. My husband is from the hallway room from Bethlehem and he came to America. He was very disturbed by all the Halloween decorations that were everywhere and I grew up seeing it so didn't affect me as much, though I never did like this very unholy day. And he asked a clear question "why would anybody who says they're Christian want to celebrate a day of darkness and death?"

The devil, also known as the god of this world, is to be respected. (Meaning you don't play around with him or think he isn't powerful.) But not feared. No, that only belongs to God. Once we put fear in it's proper place, we find there is nothing here in this realm to fear at all, as this place is not our home and we're storing up our riches in the life to come. While fearing the Lord may sound off to you, it is what keeps on the narrow path to the straight gate, which is actually very difficult to enter in. As man loves this life and their sin more then God, or their future. The Truth is also veiled to unbelievers. But you or anyone else can have that veil torn if they choose.

I stumbled on your video today, two years after you posted it. God was speaking to me strongly today, urging me NOT to take my kids out to trick-or-treat. We already had plans to meet up with friends and have a merry time. And your testimony and insight stopped me in my tracks. I cancelled our plans and we didn't go. I was open with the kids, and explained exactly why the Holy Spirit was telling me to change course. We went to my parents house instead, where my mother (a Christian) dressed as a "silly" witch. My son announced that we are "never trick or treating again because it is supporting Satan" (his take on my explanation). And in the following moments, I realized how deceived my parents were - and realized that the devil had some kind of hold on them. My parents, both self-professed Christians, vehemently rebuffed my son, with a fervor I was not expecting. It opened my eyes to just how ignorant we are. I am now even more convinced I have made the right choice for our family. I will NOT lead my children on their merry way to Hell. Thank you for this testimony. I pray that more people see this and listen to the Holy Spirit's whispering to do things differently.

I am so glad to have finally found someone who can speak with authority on this topic and go into enough details to reveal what’s truly going on that so many of us have been blind to. One of the clearest points she made was how on Halloween night, children, and sometimes teenagers come knocking on our door dressed as witches vampires, and although some costumes, maybe innocent like little girls dressing up as princesses, they are blind to what they are aligning themselves with, and we have been blind to open the door and make an offering to the enemy . However, the Lord is a gentleman. He stands at the door and knocks and waits to be invited to come, He desires intimacy in relationship with each one of his children. The devil, however, is relentless pounding on the door, looking for whom he may deceive and devour.

There’s an acquaintance of mine who’s husband is a pastor. They have an older daughter. He dressed up as a zombie pastor for Halloween this year and the daughter a zombie nun. Wearing their crucifix around their necks and all. I just don’t understand it. It’s mockery. Coming from a man of God. I try not to judge people for celebrating Halloween. I just don’t think they realize. They’re ignorant. I was. This is the first year my family didn’t celebrate. We didn’t miss a thing. No tears from my kids even. It just feels like the thing to do. So much truth. I was a practicing witch this time last year. Build up everything in my own power. Until it all crumbled around and I was in such a dark depression I could have lost my life... and Jesus met me there. Came to my window as a huge magnificent buck. What she is saying is the truth as a young boy of 11 years old back in 1974 while my family all lived in The state of Connecticut We lived in Hartford and I went to spend the day at my older brothers girlfriends house in east Hartford across the Connecticut River as his girlfriend had a younger sister and wanted someone that Saturday to hang out with and just play with I was asked and then invited over to hang out with her younger sister my age to play outside and to play some board games later until my brothers date was over at around 8 pm and he was to pick me up later to take me back home after his date he was 18 years old and they went to a movie and a restaurant after before picking me up. Wow Let me say What I witnessed in that home was beyond my comprehension as a boy. These people were upper middle class my family was working class folks who were not poor but not rich either we did well but not on these folks Level let me say I am not sure if my brother knew or not about these peoples beliefs or practices but his girlfriends parents were outright practicing warlocks and witches including the young girl my age who was supposed to be playing games with me and just hanging out but these people were outright evil and although I was not a Christian or attend church or my family sadly so at that time in my life I absolutely believed in a sovereign god and creator as my uncle was a minister of the gospel and would talk to me about the love of the lord and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary and I just knew I wanted nothing to do with these people period or there evil and vile practices and told them so what I witnessed in that house in broad daylight was not Hollywood or make believe but in your face and very real happenings I saw a picture remove itself from a wall in the very hall I and this girl I was hanging out with stood then she giggled I was terrified beyond comprehension as it floated down the hallway of this house the smash down onto the floor. Iran back to her bedroom and said I’m getting out of her house and waiting outside until my brother gets there to pick me up and so I ran down the steps of this house as it was a two story house and when I got down to the bottom of the steps thats when I saw her parents and other older family guests and other family members all sitting down on the floor in there huge living room floor with black robes on and burning different colored candles while chanting with a giant star drawn on the floor that I later learned was a pentagram. I never went back to that house again as I told my parents what happened at first they thought I was exaggerating but after they Further investigated what I told them they to were floored shocked and couldn’t believe it that was also the end of my older brothers dating the girl after he confronted her about her family.. to whom this may concern I today I’m a born-again Redeemer Christian power follower of Jesus Christ I know in my heart that God sent Jesus and Jesus lay down his life for us all there is evil in America there is always been evil, serve Satan is very real and there are demons and they are destructive forces in the world but Jesus Christ has defeated them all on the cross of Calvary when he defeated death hell and the grave for us all God bless all of you please Listen

So last year this really awesome thing happened on Halloween. I had a neighbor who moved in and right before he moved in I got pulled into this spiritual realm and had an encounter with him. I thought he was a demon and he acted really disgusted with me and my mantle, which at the time I was like what mantle? Anyway, but then he came to me in real life and introduced himself like nothing happened and I was shocked. So weird stuff started happening to me. I started getting really demonic dreams and I’d fight them off, then just really demonic intrusive thoughts, and like amplified temptations with a sort of fiendish physical aspect and these were temptations that I had defeated long ago and hadn’t even given a second thought to in a very long time. So I’d fight them off. I was getting really demoralized and constantly praying and asking God what was happening because I knew something was wrong. And then on Halloween I was laying in bed and it was like I was groggy and just waking up out of sleep and my whole bedroom was golden sparkles, like gold dust and fireflies were floating in the air. I was like, oh wow, how beautiful! Then I saw a man at my bedside sort of hovering over me and I couldn’t see his face because he had this really pretty Jewish style prayer shawl draped over him with a crown holding it in place and I was like, oh wow, who is this? And my brain answered me and said, the high priest. And he was saying something in a language I couldn’t understand like he was praying over me and anointing me with oil and so I was like, what is he saying? And my brain answered and said Kaddish. Then I drifted back to sleep. Looking back, I’m pretty sure I was going to be attacked very badly that night by the occult and Jesus literally came and sat at my bedside. I still get attacked sometimes but there’s just something so confident building when you know that Jesus will show up and pray at your bedside when you need him. I looked up what is said in Kaddish. It’s all about Messiah coming back in your lifetime and establishing his kingdom. Just thought I’d share.
Send the bad spirits away in the Name of Jesus. It worked for me. It took four years, but I am now stronger and use the name of Jesus for other things, like sickness. I also proclaim a hedge of protection in His Name.

THANK YOU! ! !... for putting this valuable information out there. CHURCHES! GET your POOP together. I went to a Christian school and church on Sunday (in Maine, USA) and our CHURCH funded and hosted halloween parties every year. My Mom dressed us up in mostly things that we had around the house and we did all of the things that people do on halloween. I remember dressing up as Cinderella using Moms jewelry and fancy clothes and my brother was.. I don't know... a pirate or a cowboy. We bobbed for apples and went for hay rides and there was even a "haunted house" set up in town. It was fun! Now I see why it was no huge jump for me to become Wiccan. It ruined me. I had frequent demonic nightmares and sometimes still do about demons trying to oppress me (But I just call on Jesus and they go away.). THANK GOD! that I learned this and came back to Jesus BEFORE I was able to have children. Otherwise I would have been a stumbling block for them. My husband and I no longer celebrate halloween. Our child knows why, and doesn't even beg to participate. We do our Bible Study most days as part of school and she gets enough treats through out the year where she's not feeling left out of the candy loop. We get strange looks when strangers or even family members ask what she's going to be for halloween, and she tells them that we don't celebrate halloween, because it's all about the M word, and what would Jesus do? We wouldn't celebrate halloween with Jesus, so we shouldn't be doing it at all. God has truly blessed me with a husband and a healthy and intelligent child that I birthed at the age of 43, even after Drs telling me that I would never give birth. God did this for me after I burned all of my Wiccan stuff. Books, Tarots, Stones. I told God that I am repentant and asked for forgiveness. My life gets better ever day that I become closer to Him.

The year I'd been a Christian longer than I was an Atheist, I had a celebration. When you get to experience both sides, you have been given a gift to share with the world unlike any other type of spiritual gift. A testimony that is potentially powerfully transformative to those who listen.
Your quote, "When you get to experience both sides" resonates with me. I've never been an atheist because my mom is a Christian and raised me in Christ. However, at age 15 I turned away from God. At age 17 I told God to leave me alone. He did. He gave us free will, after all. But, looking back on my life, that's the beginning of my downward decent. I was in jails, hospitals, I was an addict... I was even in an ungodly relationship. 34 years after I turned away from God, He left the 99 to come after me. I've told anybody who will listen to me... "I might say I want to give up, because I'm under spiritual attack almost daily, but that just means curling in a ball on my bed and crying for a while. I'll NEVER leave God again! I'll NEVER turn away from Him again. I've been to that other, dark place, and I never want to go back. The worst day with God as my Savior is so much better than my best day without Him."

I have to express my admiration at how precise you are. I'm not a Christian, but I love hearing testimonies from all walks of life. And yet whenever I stumbled across any "From New Age/Occult to Jesus" I was frustrated and a little irritated with the failure to elaborate across the board -- everyone said, "I know now that (insert practice/tools here) is demonic," but they wouldn't say why. Your reasoning of "asking the air but Satan rules the air" and "dressing to match the evil which is why you meet so much demonic resistance when you turn to God" is spectacular, and the most convincing anti-Satanist argument I've heard yet. My parents never let us celebrate Halloween as kids and at the time, I never understood why. They told me, at some basic level, that it was the devil’s holiday, but as a kid, I just thought “yeah ok, but everyone else is doing it, why can’t we?”
The last 5-6 years as I’ve come back to Christ, and have found videos like yours explaining what it actually is, what its roots are, etc. I am so thankful to my parents for not allowing us to indulge. There’s no telling what dangers and spiritual warfare we were saved from because of it! ❤

I lived in the country and never celebrated Halloween. And I never felt like I was missing out. I never celebrated with my own children and they are all fine and do not care. 3 years ago we moved into a cul-de-sac so I let my kids walk around and get candy. That night we all got the worst flu of our life! So we never did that again and we have nothing to do with that horrible day!

I've had these discussion with a friend. It took me a long time to stop celebrating even after I wanted to stop because I didn't want to take fun away from the neighborhood kids. When I learned more about what the children (and adult) victims go through on that night I just couldn't do it anymore. When I was younger it was my favorite holiday now I hate it & keep my lights off so they don't come. My whole neighborhood decorates & celebrates. At least I don't have kid, but my friend does & she knows it wrong, but for her kids and grandkids she still celebrates like I was. She told me they always experience bad luck afterwards. I just wonder if this happens to everyone, but they just don't notice or associate it to their celebrating this. So, for all who are on the fence & those who think it's not a problem just take notice & see if things go wrong in your life in the days that follow, within a week. I cannot remember if my friend had issue the very next day or within a few days. The original Saint Valentine was Nimrod, on this day in February, Semiramis, the mother of Tammuz, was said to have been purified and to have appeared for the first time in public with her son as the original "mother and child."

Ishtar or Easter, also known by her biblical name Semiramis was the widow of Nimrod. She was called the "Queen of heaven" and claimed to have been impregnated by Nimrod through the rays of the sun and later had a son by the name of Tammuz who had a miraculous birth on December 25th. Pagans believed that Nimrod was reincarnated as Tammuz and so Easter married her son Tammuz. Pagan sun-worshippers celebrated the birthday of the reincarnate sun-god on December 25th. Scripture is very clear that we are not to celebrate this particular holiday.

The passage above is obviously referring to making Christmas cookies and leaving those cookies and a glass of milk for Nimrod's widow Easter who was called the queen of heaven. The only difference is now those offerings are left for Santa (Satan) himself. Let's move on and read another passage from Scripture.

This passage is obviously referring to cutting down the Christmas tree, putting it on some sort of tree stand, and decorating it. Once you learn why it had become customary to use an erect evergreen tree that has a pointed end decorate it with big
red balls you will realize the extent of the perversion in this holiday. The erect tree symbolizes Nimrod's erect masculinity. The tree was evergreen because evergreen trees are full of life year round, like Nimrod's penis. The tree was pointed at the end just like Nimrod's pecker. I'm in the same boat as you actually. Before becoming Born Again, I was heavily into Wicca, the occult, spiritualism, paranormal investigation, mediumship, etc., etc. Every year halloween was a time for rituals and casting spells, not for dressing up in costumes and going to parties. There's some very dark, evil stuff connected to that holiday and now as a Born Again believer, I have chosen to get as far from my past as possible. Sadly people have no idea what REALLY goes on during halloween while they're out partying, getting candy, watching horror flicks, and so on. It's a truly dark, evil, satanic day and no Christian should EVER even consider celebrating it. Even if churches are claiming to throw "Christian halloween Parties", DO NOT PARTAKE! Run as far away as you possibly can! No church should be throwing such parties. Instead the best thing to do as the Bride of Christ is go into intense prayer on that day. Don't even hand out candy to kids. The enemy has cleverly gotten people to believe this holiday is all about having fun. If people only knew what type of sick ritualistic things happened behind closed doors, they would boycott the holiday.
It's good that you got out of that lascivious lifestyle.

I personally wasn’t into the occult but I was so far lost in darkness bound with alcoholism/porn/ fear/ anger ect. In 2015 God broke the chains for me and I’m free. I’m not going back to Egypt to become a slave again from what He delivered me from. Life is so much better on the other side of the Red Sea . My wife and I married Valentine’s Day 2015 and we repented and we were then baptized in the name of Jesus Christ right after the marriage. Later in July I had a powerful touch from JESUS on the alter at church. I was instantly delivered. I have my testimony on my channel. All glory to God and I am very thankful every day!!!! And I never knew what that was but to this very day I don't sleep without lights in my room thats how much that incident traumatized me. I am so glad that the Lord redeemed you out of all that.
I find it interesting that many Christians who spend time with the Lord daily and spread His gospel seem to not have qualms about decorating for Halloween or trick-or-treating or costumes. But all Christians I know who played around with dark things before becoming Christians seem to be sensitive to the extra darkness on that night and they stay away from it.
The campus ministry I was a part of always did a costume harvest party near Halloween. It was a good opportunity for ministry outreach as it was an easy thing to invite non-Christian friends to. There was a very thin line between harvest party and Halloween party, but it was at these holiday parties that I first met Christians actually living out their faith and decided to finally explore my own belief in God, eventually coming to understand Christ's salvation choosing to follow Him. What are your thoughts on Christians using the Halloween season for ministry opportunities, like what I just described--are the lines too easily crossed?
And I think we must ask ourselves as Christians, what is it exactly we are celebrating when we do celebrate Halloween? I don't know any Christian who celebrates it that thinks they are celebrating evil, but I do wonder if they have thought about what they are celebrating then? Can one really just have it be a costume and candy day?

Many ex witches are warning people about the dangers of Halloween. Involving yourself in Halloween (Samhain) and dark magic rituals and saying you're doing that for Jesus seems a bit backwards. Halloween is all about promoting demons, connecting to dead, ghosts, spells, witchcraft, etc. The Bible warns us against being involved in such things
Halloween, Christmas, Easter too. Man loves his traditions and all the family gatherings. They don't want to be disowned by family which happens. A lot of families only see each other on these holidays & they don't want to be left out, so justify by saying God knows my intent. What if your family celebrated your birthday every year on the birthday of someone you hated? Would their intent of doing it for you make it OK? We should not be celebrating our Savior's birthday on a pagan holiday; he gave His life for us! He deserves ALL our respect. It took me years to get people to stop giving me gifts and harrassing me. I send them cards on Thanksgiving expressing my gratitude for them being in my life instead. We should not need an excuse to have a family gathering. Maybe families could do a special prayer day for those who are suffering & for others to see the truth with the kids. Then reinforce their actions by taking them to their favorite place or making their favorite meal, (on a diffferent day or the food place will be celebrating too) letting them know how proud you are of them. Someone has to break the cycle & it has to start somewhere.

I’ve heard a similar testimony from someone who was a former Satanist. (Not someone who I personal knew.) All of what you say is truth. Thank you for sharing. (As a child, we observed Halloween; I call it “Holloween”. Once I had my own child, I instinctively felt/knew that I didn’t want my child celebrating that day on the calendar. I opted him out of “celebrations” at school. He never missed it, though all the other kids; except for one Jewish boy; in his elementary school took part in the events of that day, every year.) Doing what is right, and protecting the innocence of our children, and guarding their spirit is the most important thing!! Satan desires the innocence of children to devour them. The one and only time my immediate family from Ohio had a visit from my great grandmother, who lived out in Red Bluff, California, was when I was around 8 or 9 years old and the Game Board companies had just come out with the OUIJA boards ( this would have been around 1977) , me and my friends had played with them once or twice. But it was a GOD send that my Great Grandma came to visit, she immediatly took it out to a burn barrel on our property and burned it!! Dear child of God, I am a christian and believe what you say....I have experienced spiritual things even cast out spirits from people...but there was something that happened to me 2 1/2 weeks ago. I was going into a store and at the door was a very tall man .he opened the door for me I looked up to thank him and his countenance changed. I did not know why. I went inside and heard this irritating unnerving whistling. It was from that guy. Where I was he did not seem dar from it. Always whistling that horrific whistle. I could not take it anymore, I found and empty aisle and quietly said,"I rebuke you satan in Jesus name!" Immediately that whistling stopped and the guy gone.
A week in a half later I was in the same store and that same guy came in he looked at me I looked at him he rolled his eyes and left, there was something lingering in the air after he left it caused me not to walk right. So I spoke quietly in tongues and I was no longer bothered by it but I still could feel it around in the distance of me.....you precious child are covered in the blood and have full authority over the enemy but I think you already know that...Lord Bless sister in Christ Jesus.

I was wondering if they were real then this happened, the person I heard speak on them said that they are around and not everyone recognizes them. I know that my Lord had my eyes opened to perceive this supernatural thing.
When I was in there only one other person seemed affected by the whistling she ran out. Since it bothered me and not the others except one made me perceive that their eyes and ears were shut.

That, right there, makes me think of the Mark of the Beast. During the events of Revelation people take the mark because they cannot buy or sell and will not be given the very means of life without it. They conform to the evil to be left alone. To be comfortable. So the beast will stop harassing them. A decision that ultimately leads to their permanent destruction before God.

Most people don’t believe in a literal hell or a literal devil. So they live thinking we are all going to heaven, that sin isn’t bad, or that nothing happens after we die so who cares. If people actually believed the devil or hell was real they would be terrified and run to Jesus. Not believing is part of the deception that God takes away when we come to Christ and let Him rescue us.
