- This Pineapple Upside Down Cake is made with crushed pineapple so you're sure to get a sweet bit of Heaven with eat bite of cake.
I'll show you step by step instructions for making this classic with a twist.
And if you prefer sliced pineapple or pineapple tidbits, the recipe does not change. You can use whichever type of pineapple you like.

I do it so I can cover the entire cake with more cherry bites and also I feel they lay better when they are flat on one side, but this is definitely not something you have to do. Thanks for the question!!
