I love the front bunk area when it is turned into a couch is awesome, two people can hang out in the corners you know leaned up against the corners real comfortable like
When and picked mine up last week as soon as i get it cleaned up from our trip ill post a review on my channel and will answer questions we drove from Mississippi to Minnesota and towed it back stopping at badlands, Iowa, Kentucky, and TN before bringing it home awesome little camper..
When I bought a similar travel trailer (Casita) in 2018, I wasn’t particularly impressed by Scamp. Scamp has really undergone some major improvements, especially the upcoming 2025 model. If I were getting a new trailer, Scamp would definitely be on my short list.
These are definitely well built, reliable trailers that have been around for many years. Stay tuned for more videos on Scamp coming up soon on the channel. Thanks for watching!
I think you made the right choice. I like casita’s all fibreglass bottom. Nothing exposed. I live in an area infested with rodents and do not like scamp and escape for that reason
@@ProdigiousReturn Escape is 2 complete fiberglass shells all around. Nothing is exposed underneath. I've had my Escape 19 for 7 years and have never had a rodent inside.
With a 53+ year history and such great quality and design, why only a 1 year factory warranty? And does the, added cost, extended warranty actually add to the factory warranty, or does it simply replace it with added cost and maybe a deductible? When I bought new cars and my truck I asked this same question. Usually the salesman walks away and is replaced by a manager
For some reason , or another they seem to look not very balanced. In my opinion ,the tire stance is not very wide and it looks like the axel need to be brought a little more to the back. I wonder if it is prone to fishtailing. i would be reluctant to drive it faster then 55 m/h. I like to hear from owners who have experience towing a Scamp. Other then that it is a nice little trailer. I am looking for something I can tow with an EV.
Join the owners forums…you can ask people about their towing experiences. Scamp has been around a long time, and there are a lot of these 13’ boxes on the road. I always recommend interacting with current owners before buying an RV. Thanks for watching!
A fiberglass, lightweight trailer which will last you for many many years and allows you to tow with most cars. For those looking to upgrade from a tent, is something to consider! Thanks for watching!
Bunk bed on a small caper is stupid. Family should buy a bigger camper and a bigger trcck?SUV to tow it, Minimum should have kitchen, refegerator and bathroom
Those are available in other models. This trailer is for a different demographic. It’s quite possible, with this trailer to get started camping without mortgaging the farm. A few happy trips and you may consider upgrading or modifying your trailer.

That's awesome! We can't wait to see your review! Thanks for watching!
They need to offer those same windows in their other line-up along with the bottom color choices.
Hopefully in the near future they will start offering the bottom colours to all of their models. It would look great 👍 Thanks for watching!

The 2024 Scamp has an optional composite floor but it is standard for the 2025 model.
@@DayHikerFromTheSix It would be neat to see what the composite material looks like, and learn what it’s made of.

Where do they suggest storing an electric cooler?
Depending on the cooler, anywhere on the floor or maybe in one of the cabinets or in your car. Thanks for watching!

One year warranty seems to be the standard. Thanks for watching!
I think it needs a small round window on front.
Good suggestion! It would make it brighter. Thanks for watching!
Sleeps 4 comfortly ? , they must be short and thin
The Scamp Lite is best for two people but can work for four in a pinch! It's a great camper for small families. Thanks for watching!
how do i get one in north carolina
Give Scamp a call and they will walk you through the process. Thanks for watching!

Went to scamp websites and these things are priced 20k+ bare bones
Yes, it's definitely a premium price tag for a lightweight trailer. Thanks for watching!
So basically a bedroom on wheels.
A hard sided tent but with storage, standing height, and a dinette for a rainy day. 😀 Thanks for watching!
Or a standing room teardrop camper.
My mom used to give me a red bottom.
Lol 😀 Thanks for watching!
Nope. $$$$ for a trailer with no extras.

Look a extremely expensive port a pot!
Except it has no plumbing 😂. In all seriousness though, they look very retro cool in person! Thanks for watching!

For someone who wants a basic lightweight low frills trailer it’s perfect. You don’t pay for stuff you don’t need.
@@larryhunter8245 You're right but, you're sure paying for next to nothing. I could see 7K but what they're asking is unbelievable.
